I think I need to stop the daily practice and go further on my own pace. Hopefully I can do a practice every other day. My body feels stronger and stronger which I am very grateful of, but mij brain can't keep up with a class every day and still doing what needs to be done here. I'm on a healing Journey all together (cleansing and healing from severe brainfog and adrenal fatique) and I think I might have wanted more than I can chew here. Did figure that out at least and trying to lovingly accept and change for the better.❤
Recognising what is right for you is the most Important thing. Prior to this year I’ve been doing the other 30day courses on days I don’t have any other physical activities and that felt right for me at that time. Stay strong and focus on what feels right for you.💕 @@0012mede
BENJI WATCH DAY 7: Benji started off by taking a power nap towards the back of the mat. Had a itch Benji needed to scratch and woke up. Propped up by the window looking out & just hung out till the end.
I've seen this room so many times and only, this past session or two, noticed that Benji has a perch to lay on at the window's base. Such a lucky doggy 😊

It is the morning of my birthday sixty nine years ago today and I feel gratitude that I found Adriene. I was still feeling the abs after yesterday but this practice helped to stretch them all out again. I loved the sequence at the end. Very calming and soothing. I really appreciate these videos all being about 20min long ive found it easy to keep going back to the matt daily. I think in the past I found it hard to commit because if I saw the video was 40min it would deter me from even starting. Thank you Adriene and team !

20:00 "Now let your breath fuel these gestures, see what happens..." I felt a wave of relief and release. I'm doing the practice by a little window here in Portland OR and I could suddenly hear every rain drop falling on the leaves outside, I felt the soft blanket of the moss growing on the trees, I was connected to a flock of birds rising in a misty sky. Everything slowed down, and I could feel the tenderness in my heart, and gratitude for being alive. What a moment, thank you Adrienne 🙏
omg day 7!! im astonished that ive made it this far, i have never practiced 7 whole days in a row this is a seriously big goal for me, i am horrible at consistency. anyways todays practice helped me slow down from a very hectic day, i love love love yoga. its what i look forward to everyday. see you all tomorrow my darlings 💕
Day 7 💮💮💮 I was reflecting on how much I feel like I don't have enough time and that I need to rush through things when the YWA email popped up saying "be out of sync with your times for just one day" and that felt like a very obvious sign to stop looking into what I need to do a minute from now, half an hour from now a day from now, and just step on to the mat! I learnt from Adriene to sync my breath with digging the garden. Also alternating my digging foot. It has SO helped my back. Also to stop and stretch every now and then. Adriene is a brilliant teacher who shows that yoga can benefit us in all areas of life. I am so grateful to be part of this community 😊🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻
Since practicing with Adriene I’ve started breathing and using my core with almost all laborious movements and it is saving my back. So grateful for this knowledge!!

This was my favorite practice so far. I found myself going through a whole range of emotions--first frustrated and distracted and feeling very reluctant, and by the end I felt so at peace and in sync. Thank you Adriene for all you do!

This might be my favorite series so far 💚 Still struggling with the breathwork (focusing on my breath that much makes me weirdly anxious), but getting better slowly but surely
I used to get panic attacks when I was doing four part breathing and retaining my breath with empty lungs. And I never get panic attacks. But for years now I haven’t, so stick with it, your body will adjust and thank you later.
I am 2 days behind, telling myself that is OKAY, I am not alone and this practice was exactly what I needed on this day. I forget to breathe intentionally and deeply all day long, and it feels so good to take the time. Thank you!!
@@vanispecht9084 , yes, continuing to show up even when behind certainly does count. It is a testimony to perseverance. And perseverance is a vital trait to develop and hold on to. The Bible says that perseverance must continue it's work so that we may become mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1). So here's to continuing to show up, no matter what .

After 2 years of chronic fatigue this is my first attempt at some kind of regular exercise and I'm loving it. Thanks so much Adriene! You have always been the one and only youtube yoga teacher for me (definitely >10 years now) and I'm so grateful for you.
I like how Adriene says at the beginning of her practices something like "the hardest part is done, we're here on the mat". It's true. This yoga challenge teaches me discipline as well, and to be honest, I fail a lot and skip some days. So for everyone who could blamed themselves or felt failed and not willing to continue - it's a sign. I'm on day 7 even though it's day 18 of the challenge, but I will keep going till the last day. I was a MAJOR yogee for the past four years...easily intermediate with Adriene and others. Then I caught a NASTY case of COVID that set bad vibes in my joints and it's like I am starting all over again. Range of motion is tough right now so I am actually grateful for Adriene going s-l-o-w-l-y right now, at least for me. Seven days into this and my joints are opening up again. She really is trying to be everything to everybody (I remember her earlier 30 Days being MORE rigorous...). BE PATIENT....Adriene is a blessing. And yes, MY ABS ARE TALKING RIGHT NOW!!
Thanks to the 6K yogis practicing with me today! I went through a break up this weekend, and showing up on the mat has been really tough. The closing of today's practice had me crying a bit, as I'm so grateful for this community and the empowering tool that yoga yet again proves to be. This is my 4th year doing this, and I'm looking forward to practicing with you all in the future!
Day 7, January 31st. Even though my abs sore it vanished later. And I loved to feel my low abs cause yesterday during practice I felt my upper abs working only. It's magic. Especially when I managed to synchronize my breath at the end of today's session. Thank you, Adriene and Benji, and all the people practicing ❤. Lots of love ❤️. Namaste 🙏
Morning! Throughout this journey, I am setting the intention to leave little love notes in the comments, to keep myself reflecting and expressing gratitude, and also to spread love and positivity. DAY 7:Synch... practicing breath work has been the one thing that keeps me grounded. As a nursing student I take many difficult exams and also deal with difficult patient situations, which can make you quite anxious and overwhelmed. I worked during the heat of the pandemic as a nursing assistant and breath work saved me. breath work has kept me grounded and going when I feel like the world is completely crumbling beneath me. I remember my first patient who passed away due to covid hit my soul so hard, but I kept it together and synched up to my breath. Thank you Adriene for teaching me this wonderful practice that keeps me going even when I feel like giving up!
To chose to go to nursing school after working during the pandemic is amazing! The fact that you haven't completely lost faith in humanity is a tiny spark of light in my day. As a fellow healthcare worker who worked the height of the pandemic, I find myself dreading even walking into the hospital everyday. The burnout is real. Thank you for the reminder to check in with my breath. Best wishes as you study. We need people like you.

Doing this in March when I turn the same age as my sister was when she died almost 11 years ago. This is an age I've been dreading for over a decade. But I'm here, I feel great. Yoga this month is my gratitude gift to myself and to my sister's memory. Thank you Adriene for always being here.💙

I really needed that solo sync and flow at the end today, I didn’t realise how much I needed it until I felt quite emotional at the end! I’ll use that little flow regularly this week. Happy syncing to everyone practicing today!
That last bit at the end was pure magic. For once I wasn't in a state of trying to sync up my breath with the movement; it just happened! My abs are sore, but I'm enjoying that as evidence that I really engaged my core yesterday.
As i rose from my bed I felt the soreness in my abs but was so ready for Day 7 with everyone! I practiced with almost 4,000 people this morning. And looking back on Day 5 and 6, there are over 300K of us on this journey. Love this space you have created for us Adrienne. Much love to you and Benji
Gonna be honest with y'all - for most of the practice I just layed down on the mat and focused all my attention on breathing. I wasn't feeling very well, and almost every move made me feel nauseous. But when I got up at the end, I felt so refreshed and centered and actually had a delightful day. YOU CAN DO IT, FELLOW YOGI!!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Flow Day - 7 is energizing. My breath was synchronized with my movement. Ironically, during my morning 🌅 meditation 🧘🏿 I practiced ujjayi breathing also known as victorious breath. Now, I am pumped and ready to return to my speed run 🏃🏿after a 2 1/2 week hiatus due to exhaustion and healing from a cold this past week. I'm feeling confident for my return and excited which is aligned with the excitement for my job interview today. I have to do a demo of my teaching English philosophy at the University. This might be my favorite series so far 💚 Still struggling with the breathwork (focusing on my breath that much makes me weirdly anxious), but getting better slowly but surely
I used to get panic attacks when I was doing four part breathing and retaining my breath with empty lungs. And I never get panic attacks. But for years now I haven’t, so stick with it, your body will adjust and thank you later.

I am 2 days behind, telling myself that is OKAY, I am not alone and this practice was exactly what I needed on this day. I forget to breathe intentionally and deeply all day long, and it feels so good to take the time. Thank you!!

@@vanispecht9084 , yes, continuing to show up even when behind certainly does count. It is a testimony to perseverance. And perseverance is a vital trait to develop and hold on to. The Bible says that perseverance must continue it's work so that we may become mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1). So here's to continuing to show up, no matter what .

I like how Adriene says at the beginning of her practices something like "the hardest part is done, we're here on the mat". It's true. This yoga challenge teaches me discipline as well, and to be honest, I fail a lot and skip some days. So for everyone who could blamed themselves or felt failed and not willing to continue - it's a sign. I'm on day 7 even though it's day 18 of the challenge, but I will keep going till the last day. I was a MAJOR yogee for the past four years...easily intermediate with Adriene and others. Then I caught a NASTY case of COVID that set bad vibes in my joints and it's like I am starting all over again. Range of motion is tough right now so I am actually grateful for Adriene going s-l-o-w-l-y right now, at least for me. Seven days into this and my joints are opening up again. She really is trying to be everything to everybody (I remember her earlier 30 Days being MORE rigorous...). BE PATIENT....Adriene is a blessing. And yes, MY ABS ARE TALKING RIGHT NOW!!

Thanks to the 6K yogis practicing with me today! I went through a break up this weekend, and showing up on the mat has been really tough. The closing of today's practice had me crying a bit, as I'm so grateful for this community and the empowering tool that yoga yet again proves to be. This is my 4th year doing this, and I'm looking forward to practicing with you all in the future!

Day 7, January 31st. Even though my abs sore it vanished later. And I loved to feel my low abs cause yesterday during practice I felt my upper abs working only. It's magic. Especially when I managed to synchronize my breath at the end of today's session. Thank you, Adriene and Benji, and all the people practicing ❤. Lots of love ❤️. Namaste 🙏

Throughout this journey, I am setting the intention to leave little love notes in the comments, to keep myself reflecting and expressing gratitude, and also to spread love and positivity.
DAY 7:Synch... practicing breath work has been the one thing that keeps me grounded. As a nursing student I take many difficult exams and also deal with difficult patient situations, which can make you quite anxious and overwhelmed. I worked during the heat of the pandemic as a nursing assistant and breath work saved me. breath work has kept me grounded and going when I feel like the world is completely crumbling beneath me. I remember my first patient who passed away due to covid hit my soul so hard, but I kept it together and synched up to my breath. Thank you Adriene for teaching me this wonderful practice that keeps me going even when I feel like giving up!

To chose to go to nursing school after working during the pandemic is amazing! The fact that you haven't completely lost faith in humanity is a tiny spark of light in my day. As a fellow healthcare worker who worked the height of the pandemic, I find myself dreading even walking into the hospital everyday. The burnout is real. Thank you for the reminder to check in with my breath. Best wishes as you study. We need people like you.

Doing this in March when I turn the same age as my sister was when she died almost 11 years ago. This is an age I've been dreading for over a decade. But I'm here, I feel great. Yoga this month is my gratitude gift to myself and to my sister's memory.

I really needed that solo sync and flow at the end today, I didn’t realise how much I needed it until I felt quite emotional at the end! I’ll use that little flow regularly this week. Happy syncing to everyone practicing today!
That last bit at the end was pure magic. For once I wasn't in a state of trying to sync up my breath with the movement; it just happened! My abs are sore, but I'm enjoying that as evidence that I really engaged my core yesterday.
I am feeling so much better than I did a week ago. This has been the best place to start my day.

Gonna be honest with y'all - for most of the practice I just layed down on the mat and focused all my attention on breathing. I wasn't feeling very well, and almost every move made me feel nauseous. But when I got up at the end, I felt so refreshed and centered and actually had a delightful day. YOU CAN DO IT, FELLOW YOGI!!

Blessed Beloved Beauties! Flow Day - 7 is energizing. My breath was synchronized with my movement. Ironically, during my morning 🌅 meditation 🧘🏿 I practiced ujjayi breathing also known as victorious breath. Now, I am pumped and ready to return to my speed run 🏃🏿after a 2 1/2 week hiatus due to exhaustion and healing from a cold this past week. I'm feeling confident for my return and excited which is aligned with the excitement for my job interview today. I have to do a demo of my teaching English philosophy at the University. From then to now..I have gone through so much..I have fallen in and out of doing yoga multiple times..Lately I haven't been doing it and I am dealing with horrible anxiety right now..I feel like I need yoga more than ever.
