  • The journey continues! With our day 10 practice we continue to develop a vocabulary in which we are able to use the breath to cultivate a more beautiful conversation between the mind and body. Today is all about moving any stagnant energy to allow the opportunity to align with something bigger than yourself and drop into FLOW.

    Daily yoga truly is life changing! It really helps us in so many ways throughout our days on the mat, but when challenging times may arise that’s when you’re really thankful for what it teaches you off the mat.🙏❤️

      For sure! I really had to put all that I have learnt on the mat into practice yesterday as I was confronted with an unexpected diversion in my day which I was not prepared for, but all of the amazing teachings of Adriene allowed me to successfully manage what I was going through and control my emotions. All’s fine now by the way!

      Daily yoga helps keep me pain-free! When I don't do yoga regularly, I get back pain, neck pain, foot pain, shoulder pain (depending on what other activities I am doing). Daily yoga helps me stay biomechanically aligned and my physical therapist highly recommends it as well!

    It’s not only day 10 of yoga with Adriene for me, but also day 10 of sobriety from compulsive eating, binging, and purging. I’ve found a power greater than myself and hope to find freedom from this disease one day at a time.

    I'm almost a 30-year old dude and I am lying on my floor sobbing. Every. Single. Day. Of practice i have cried. I struggle with grief after my father died and this practice is allowing me to be kind to myself, taking care of myself a little every day. Thank you Adrienne for gudiing us through this practice, allowing everyone to be kinder to themselves.. and be a little more human ❤

      I’m sorry for your loss. My father also died recently, it’s a very specific grief. But I feel community with the people practicing here (even if I’m quite behind), which helps in a unique and beautiful way.

    I fell down some stairs on day 4 of this challenge and badly hurt my back. Since then I've joined in by listening and breathing with the queues from Adriene. 😊 Happy to still be on this journey with everyone and keep that promise to myself. 🤍

      Me. I do these longer ones on the weekends when my son doesn’t have school and I have more time, I do shorter routines during the week 😊

      I showed up!! Getting on the mat is definitely the hardest part for me. I will be 45 on St. Patrick’s Day. One year anniversary of sobriety drugs is March 20. I got divorced a year ago after 21 years of marriage. He was cheating online the entire time. Narcissistic king of the world. Also all my 4 beautiful children have moved out. My father passed away unexpectedly. Then my rescue bull Pitt bull passes away. He was my best friend. I quit smoking last year as well. I had smoked since age 14. In these 4 years I also had four surgeries on my back and shoulder. I had two vehicle accidents. I did not want to become addicted to opiates, so I was looking for something to replace it with that would be better more natural on my body. I found a video with Adrienne yoga for your nervous system. I felt so much better after those 20 minutes and I was changed forever in that moment. I just took it minute at a time sometimes one second at a time, and that ends up being one day at a time. I can honestly say I’m kind of proud of myself. This
      Beautiful life is learning how to ride the waves! i’m on day 21 of my yoga journey with Adrienne. I can’t tell you how much you mean to me. I am learning how to love myself and find myself again! You have made my journey easier, and I have for once began to learn how to breathe. Every day I learn a little bit more about yoga and the benefits that it can bring to anyone going through anything.
      Breath work makes the dream work . I’m really learning how to leave it on the mat and release what is not meant for me anymore. I have now began to learn how to apply yoga lessons off the mat as well…
      I just wanted to share a little bit of my story. Maybe it will help someone out there. You’re not alone and we got this!! 🧘❤😊

      I'm two months behind but I try to do this everyday and even when I miss a day or two I get back to it. I'm so proud of myself that I've just completed day 10.

    Hi everyone. Today 365 days ago, I discovered this channel. It was the new year and I needed some balance and grounding and therefore decided to practice yoga. Coming to RUclips this was the first yoga channel I came across and it was the Center journey. I started it and my life has changed tremendously. This past year was a lot but I always looked forward to 7pm, my yoga time. Looking back now, I see how far I've come and I'm so incredibly grateful for the existence of this beautiful channel and angel Adriene. Words are not enough to express my gratitude. I love you all.     Day 10 is done, February 3rd. Flowing in my own pace. Happy to be with you all❤. And yes the hardest part is showing up then magic comes with Adriene's voice and unique atmosphere with Benji around.       I'm also behind as I did something to my upper arm/shoulder and could hardly lift my arm last week. I am catching up though. 😊 I felt so out of sync last week, mentally, physically and emotionally. I always feel weird when I don't do my daily yoga with Adriene 😊 Have a good day everyone xx

    I never really understood what Adrienne meant when she said “you’ve done the hardest part by showing up” until this 30 days yoga series, because I always used to think doing the practice was the hardest part. But I never regret or feel worse after doing a practice, and most of the times it’s exactly what I needed
    , even if it was hard. Happy day 10 everyone

      It means that, although it can sometimes feel really hard to get up off the sofa, or put down the book, or wait a bit longer for your dinner while you change and get your mat out after a long day at work - it's worth it. If you can just force yourself to show up, the rest is done 😊

    Feeling strong 😊 I’m amazing myself that, this year, I am keeping up with all the planks. As a 56 year old, post menopausal woman I know how beneficial this is to me. Thank you Adriene 🙏🏻

    For 3 days now, I'm just hitting play, breathe and do my stretches on the mat with Adrienne's voice on the background and in some poses we meet but in most of them we don't. That's all I have right now and that's more than enough. Thanks everyone for breathing with me

    Had a busy day at work and struggled to find the time but feel so much better for it! Does anybody else feel stronger than when they first started?
    I am going away for the weekend tomorrow but determined to carry on my yoga practice from my London hotel room 🫶🏻

      I definitely felt stronger and more aligned in plank. Less wrist pain/weakness too in the pose today

      I feel more comfortable in plank , still feel heavy some days and lighters other but I’m excited to keep getting stronger!

    I woke up feeling extra tired (day 2 of my period/heaviest day) and I was worried I wouldn’t have the energy for this. I allowed myself a gentle wake up lying in bed before I got myself to my mat. So glad that I did. If you’re doubting yourself today, you can do this. Have a great day everyone ✨

    🌞Day 10🌞 Hi everyone! Hope you‘re feeling aligned after this practice. I started off in a good mood but then half way through the practice got run over by a wave of emotions because today will be kind of a sentimental day. I‘m glad the emotions hit me on the mat though because it really helped to manage them. Leaving the mat feeling okay now instead of anxious which is great! Thank you Adriene, Benji and team and everyone around the world practicing with me. May your day be fantastic ✨

      That happened to me as well, I got through a wave of emotions and I wanted to cry but I couldn't, but at least I felt the emotions, which is processing, which is good.

    just completed day 10. would love to stick to everyday but I'm just proud I keep coming back. I'll do my 30days over 3 months if that is what it takes.     Good morning from my home in Kosovo! Enjoying this 30 day journey with my mom (who lives in the US). Thank you, Adriene, for this opportunity to connect with ourselves and our loved ones. I love that the poses repeat and build on themselves each day, love the sound of your voice, and love how good my body feels with daily movement on the mat.

    I was doing good at the daily routine until this sub freezing ice and snow storm hit. I have a farm and we went into high alert, spent 6am-10pm every single day working to keep the animals alive and warm. Miserable. It's finally above freezing again. My body is in such pain but this practice was perfect for my sore back and hips.

    I did this one a day "late" and instead of feeling like a failure I feel strong! I showed up. I did it. And I loved it. Yesterday I needed a break and I recommitted today. Have a great day everyone.

      I’m a day “late” as well. 😊 First, I thought to myself “you’re behind again”, but very quickly I responded to my thoughts: “that is not what matters, but the fact that I keep coming back”. So I will either do two practices today or tomorrow, or I will be a day behind, so what. 😄 Thanks to practicing yoga almost everyday for over two years now I learned how to have compassion for myself. ❤ See you on the mat! ❤

      I think I'm 6 days "behind" but I choose not to see it that way at all. It took me like 3 months to do last year's "center" challenge lol. All good as long as we keep showing up to the mat!

    I'm a singer currently touring Australia so I'm 10 days behind, but doing yoga in hotels whenever I can! Feels good to know we can always return to the mat and that everyone's timeline is different

    Good morning everyone! Not gonna lie, today was challenging for me. I felt frustrated when doing the warrior poses because I still suck at them and either lose my balance or my knee doesn’t stay bent.       Today was my birthday. It’s always a day full of emotions and as I’m in Australia I do the yoga before I go to bed. I’ve been doing yoga for 5 years now and sometimes my warrior is amazing and strong and other times it’s wobbly and funky. Winning at yoga is exactly what you wrote after- doing each part to the best of your abilities. Being gentle and kind to you. You got this and you’re winning because you showed up.

      I feel the same way. Lots of joint issues. Sometimes I select a different Yoga with Adriene that I can do, and practice that instead. Still part of the group, showing up, in MY way. Love to all!

      You are doing GREAT!!! I think the true journey is how you learn to treat yourself kindly even when, ESPECIALLY when, you're wobbly and falling down. I wobble and fall down almost every practice!! We are at our strongest every moment that we choose to get back up again, and keep going even when we're frustrated or feeling off-balance 🥰you championed your body in an amazing way today friend, I'm so proud of you!!!!

    Doing my practice today and my very clingy 2 year old walks in looks at the tv, laughs, and says "woof! Woof!" while she's pointing at benji. Thank you for creating this space of body acceptance and kindness.

    Day 10 baby 🎉
    I've never lasted this long on all the times I've tried before to do the 30 day series.
    But my intention from the first video was 'free'. Free from my own expectations.
    So I have a chronic illness and my energy dramatically shifts and changes throughout the day and it's really challenging to bring working out into the mix. I find it so fascinating how my body feels different each day - yesterday I just did a looot of child poses and deep breaths because I couldn't even lift myself properly of the floor. Now I just woke up und did this practice and while I slowd down the pace a lot I did all of it! Our bodies are amazing and please everyone, give yourself grace on the days it's hard ❤

      You are so amazing for showing up, and choosing to keep going even when things got really hard for you friend 💖 the first time i ever tried a YWA video, i got angry and cried and gave up because I couldn't stay in downward dog for more than 10 seconds: I have a round belly, and I was angry at my body because i felt like she was giving up on me and failing me. But i tried again and again, just like you, and I fell down hundreds of times before I finally started to get used to the poses. It is so hard, but SO so worth it. I know you will feel so proud of yourself soon, and I hope you are proud of yourself every day friend!!! You are AMAZING, and you've GOT THIS!!!

      Long before I did yoga I used to splat like that to relax. Just feels really nice, stretchy without being too stretchy. Like being wrung out but in a good way lol

    Day 10 ✔ Doing the 30days as the videos are released is so much more powerful than on catch up sharing my journey with 2800 like minded yogis this morning.
    I usually only do a practice with Adriene on a day when I have no other physical activity planned but set an intention to do FLOW each day, proud to say I’m fulfilling that intention and will also be doing my regular Thursday classes of Movement and Music for the over 50s & a free yoga class at my local college. The peace and tranquillity I have found with Yoga is immeasurable 💕💕 Namaste 🙏 🧘‍♀

    On Day 10 of Flow, I was hospitalized. Nervous that I tore my rotator cuff, turns out my hemoglobin was severely low. I am back at it! Picking up where I left off at keeping the intention that I set for myself to finish what I started. The race is not giving to the swift... may we all see the finished line of this challenge at the appointed time. Thank you Adriene and The Crew! Much Love! ❤ I am strong 💪🏽 🎉‼️👋🏽💕💕💕🙏🏽🔥😍

    Day 10 I found my zen! Yesterday I did a massive online workout challenge and this was the perfect recovery flow that I needed. Also did your bedtime yoga last night to recover and I'm not sore! Woohoo!

    I am strong! When I heard Adriene say we were picking up the pace today, I noticed myself resist. I don't typically come to yoga for cardio. I come for the stretching & relaxation. But I made a commitment to see this 30 day practice through & be strengthened by it, so I stuck with it and I'm so glad I did. Today I noticed I was able to get into a lunge and into warrior 1 more easily than I've been able to in years. That was awesome to experience! See y'all on the mat tomorrow.

    We're kind of matching today, Adriene! This week has been very heavy. These yoga practices really help me get through it all. I loved feeling my heartbeat when we paused after the flow sequences. The sensation of life and energy in the body- what a feeling! I feel very relaxed now and sleepy after a long day. I stayed on the mat a bit longer today just lying there and then doing a few rocking back massages. Thank you Adriene and Benji for bringing me, and I'm sure so many others, smiles😀

    This is the first 30 Day Journey I have done and I am so proud that I made it to day 10! This is the first day where I am truly noticing changes. Stepping forward into lunge is suddenly SO MUCH EASIER, wow. And holding plank and downward dog is starting to feel more doable as well. Love reading all the comments for each video and knowing we are all in this together! 💪🌟❤

    Love adding yoga back to my morning routine. Along with meditation and journaling, it's the perfect trifecta to start my mornings. Today I felt stronger than yesterday when lowering myself to my belly.

    Today I almost felt like skipping. Just worked my fifth day as a caretaker for elders with Alzheimers disease. Felt tired and a bit empty. Well, that's just the right mood to join anyway :) Glad I got myself to the mat. Thanks for anyone practicing with me!

    Thank you for this video, YWA! I've been struggling with self esteem issues and self worth for so long. During today's practice I noticed where my mind was wondering to, and the urge to surrender to those thoughts and beliefs was/is so strong. There's also a part of me that's wiser, and knows that I deserve this time for myself. And I keep showing up for myself. No matter what's happening around me or within me. I notice the vocabulary I'm using now, are the words you repeat over and over, Adriene. I don't know what else to say. Thank you for this wonderful experience, everyone! Lots of love, Kara 💞

    I really didn't want to do yoga today, but I made myself show up because I didn't want to let myself down when I've done every day so far. My mind was way off thinking about other things and my body was tired, and I was wondering why I was even here if all I was doing was going through the motions without having my heart in it. But then Adriene said to trust that this time is valuable, no matter what it looks like or feels like, and I kept repeating this to myself throughout the entire practice. So even though I had a lot less energy and my mind was wandering, I remembered that there was still benefit to this time. Thank you Adriene, you always seem to know exactly what I need to hear xx

    Happy to be back on this journey after being out of town on a family vacation. I really wanted to do some yoga on the trip, but i didn't. It's hard for me to resist the urge to jump back in and skip the days i missed, or to pressure myself to double up so I can finish on the 31st. But, I'm really trying to quiet that voice and just step back on where i actually am. Side note, i saw this ad for wall Pilates on Instagram and decided to check out the program. A few questions later and im being placed into an "obese" category and pressured to join and push myself to lose 25 plus pounds in a number of weeks. I am so grateful for this yoga community and the acceptance of all body types and skill levels. So if anyone has a legitimate recommendation for Pilates or wall Pilates from a source similar to Adriene, please let me know. Thank you!

    We learn so much more than physical postures during this practice. I’ve found myself sharing philosophies from our practice with others off the mat, saying “my yoga teacher taught me…” Does anyone else do that? 😊 Thank you Adriene for this priceless gift.

    I fell ill for a couple days and am a full 5 days behind still! I did two yogas to catch up, and I'm feeling really proud of myself. Normally I would have just given up for not doing it "perfectly" but life happens and the most important thing is to just keep going. See you all again soon for the next days journey!

      Greetings Mia! I'm glad to practice with you, too. It's cool we were practicing at the same time. I also adore that "whisper/affirmation" I am stronger.💪🏿 I needed to be because I had to use the bathroom the entire session (I consume a lot of herbal teas ☕ and water 💦). Anywho, plumbers are at our home and my husband and I have to go to a local business due to the water temporarily turned off. I'm babbling. Too, much for a first conversation. Lol! 😅 It's nice to meet you. 🦋❤️🦋
