Man, where did you find this one?? What a gem! The fastest propliner ever to have flown. Wouldn't we love to see one of these monsters on the airshow circuit?

    In the first flight.
    Operators I. Lisitsky.
Now you will see the first non-stop passenger flight along the longest air route Moscow - Khabarovsk in our country.
In 8-10 hours these passengers will be in Moscow. The Tu-114 aircraft, a true airship, will transfer them to the capital! In the first flight, the plane was driven by one of the country's most experienced pilots, Pyotr Vasilievich Soldatov.
Even at an altitude of 9000 meters you can get enough sleep. On top of that, you will be fed the trice. The air liner is designed for 170 seats. During the flight, 24 times per hour the air changes.
600 minutes passed and the concrete path of the Vnukovo airport was already completed. Hello, Moscow May Day!

Looks like at the film's end the TU-114 pulled up to a train station adorned with the images of Marx and Lenin (hey, where's Stalin?) instead of an airport. Great old Soviet newsreel film, thanks for sharing!

I've never heard a Bear, but I hear they're loud. I wonder what the cabin sounded like on this. (Although I would probably be like the guy at 0:57. The drone of the props would put me right to sleep!) You also sit quite a ways off the runway compared to the Tu-95!
