Thanks for covering the story of Keris and doing it respectfully. That crime happened not far from me. My son went to school with Keris. Her and her husband were beautiful people that met at church. Her life was ended and his forever ruined by a cowardly loser that shouldn't be breathing today.
That's why we need vigilanten justice sad to say cuz the justice system is not going to do their job!

I googled to gain a lil more details and came up empty, but the girl was so young and beautiful with a recent marriage and just getting her life started. She looked so happy. May God Bless this sweet smile.

My high-school friend from El Paso Texas got killed while opening a Dollar General in Killeen Texas in 2007 from a man that spent the night inside the store. The murder has never been solved and I was wondering if you can do a video on it Lamont? Thanks!!

We live near there. Killeen is a military town, so there are people there from all over the country, many of which joined the military because they were unable to feed or house themselves any other way.
The other issue, is that FBI Table 43 says that the black 13% of the nation's population commits 52% of the murders, and Killeen is 35% black, almost three times the national average.

Sadly I tried to tell my mom the same thing about working herself to bones for a company. She DEDICATED 40 years to one company and when she suddenly passed away NO ONE came to her funeral and the business never sent a damn flower! Live your life to the fullest and DEDICATE your free time to making memories with those who love you…..

I don't carry often but, I do carry when I go to places like the dollar tree. They tend to be set in shady parts of the neighborhood. I know I should probably always carry given today's climate but I especially carry if I'm going there because crackheads like to hang out there hoping to steal something from the store.
Yes I live there pretty much, unfortunately that's my today's version of when I walk out I'm like how the f did I spend that much... at.the.freakin.doller.tree!! I'm mad they stop selling tinted nude chapstick. It was from the literal brand, chapstik. However they spell it. I went to every one I could think of on my route today to go hunt it down. Sadly, it wasn't happening. & Tbh, there is a hoody more place. That store just looks trashed. :/ It's like a massive 90s debs bag or weaver :/. But I used to go there way more a few yrs ago. Only i lived out towards the country, it just was still closer to me. But then again, it was in front of a section 8 apt complex. I remember trying to sign up there. This girl either was pregnant, or had a baby w/ her out there & just proudly & loudly started singing about damn crack. I couldn't really tell if she was being extra or serious but I was thinking I gotta revaluate my whole idc about sh worth sh as long as I stay resourceful & keep to myself .. I think I've seen more ish go down all on that 1 st vs scattered out through that entire city. & I've seen & have been through some fd up ish in that damn city. But I remember asking a cashier if she'd walk me out bc I felt like this customer was being weird & following me. I half way thought she was being sweet. The other half was like what if he fr is crazy tho? Am I putting her in jeopardy too for my "paranoia?" Or if there's more ppl, it throws single ppl crimes off? But yeah, even vs Walmart, this dollar tree is like by a ghost mall... & Yada, yada. But I've seen suited rich looking super tall athletes get in & out quickly into a nice car that was in the "fire zone", weaver that's called, too. I def heard those workers complain about them stealing as soon as I walked in. I was like ? Idk I thought I just saw something weird but that's all I saw. _the hell did I just witness? Did they just steal for the adrenaline kick or what_ ?" But yah. Now that I've moved, the places I go to that's closer is more populated... But then again, I guess if a person's just crazy. They just r gonna b. & I can't help it anyways ... But I'd like to think I'm eliminating some factors... Rip to her anyways. They must pay her "peanuts" there, & she lost her life for it

This happened not far from where I live. That poor girl! I didnt know her personally, but have mutual friends that were just devastated by her brutal murder. Everyone said how sweet of a person she was. He deserves all the terrible things that can possibly happen to him, in this life and beyond. RIP beautiful Keris. I wish I knew you came to Monroe. I remember when this happened. I was a child at the time. His mother would be on the news every year trying to get justice for him until her death some years ago. I saw his daughter on the news also.

Very rare if ever that two high school kids would meet alone and fight to the death. Fights like that always happen with a crowd. That is unless he was "jumped" by a bunch of rivals. Either way out numbered or surrounded by people who wanted to see a fight, people know something, they were there and they SAW it. May not ever happen but there is more than one person who's lived their life with the eye-witness knowledge of how this death occurred. What a horrible thing to live with, they will never know peace.

Such a sad case, both of these. It's also kinda of interesting that Jimmy's daughter is twice his age and wanting rightful justice for her father who was just 13 years old when he was murdered.
At 13 and a father ? Has that fact been kind of over looked ? He and some young girl screwed around and 9 months later a baby just magically comes out ? How about getting an interview with the mother of that child ? Think there is quite a lot more to this story that is not being disclosed .

You’d think these stores would have a special lockdown room where employees can run to safety, that has bulletproof door/walls. There’s absolutely no reason that any retail store should have that as part of building code. It’s inexcusable, and let that be the corporate/store owners cost of responsibility to give a safe place for employees in case of a crime attempt.
Yes, you never know who's walking in the store. I remember working alone at a Sally's beauty supply store and a man walked in and was walking up and down each aisle and when got to the back door of the storage roomhe stopped and heard the radio and thought someone was in there and he left...without buying anything..no customers were in the store at the time .my boss had told me to turn the radio on when I worked alone...glad I listened..When I told her what happened she had a cop stay out in the parking lot on Sunday's when the employee worked alone.
