      Sorry for your loss.
      DNA can solve this case.
Can you contact police, ( cold case) and demand they send DNA to Othram Labs.
They have the technology that most jurisdictions don't have.
      They are top notch.
For sure, they would find the killer.
There was a federal law passed in the summer of 2022 stating all modern technology has to be used to solve homicides.
Therefore, the state has to pay for testing.
You have RIGHTS when you're aware of them.
Chances are Detectives never heard of this case.
You may get someone to work on her case. There's a chance he's done something like this before. Prisons were not required to take DNA from prisoners back then.

That's very sad! She seemed like an ordinary little girl just enjoying her life. I was born late 1964 so Shirley and I would have likely experienced similar things although I was born in Australia. I hope that since they have the murderer's DNA, that genetic genealogy can one day provide the answer as to who committed this crime. I believe in a God who will judge this man and although he might get away with taking Shirley's life in this life, he won't get away with it in the next! My condolences to you and your family! From country NSW Australia.

It breaks my heart whenever I hear about these helpless children. In 1975, I was 9. I remember a few times in my childhood, almost being abducted by an adult male. Once in Spokane Washington on Halloween 🎃 and once when I was walking home from gymnastics practice at age 12. The devil has tried to take my life many, many times. My heart goes out to kids today who must navigate through this present darkness where it seems all the freaks are emerging from their basements.

One day back in the 1990s I was with a friend in Northern Arizona. We were maybe a mile off the main road in a clump of trees sitting down and taking a break drinking water. Several minutes later I was told a story going back to when Arizona was still a Territory. Very near where we were sitting was the site where two young female's remains were found. Nobody was ever charged. It was said that Apaches might have done it. It is a weird feeling.

People can ask forgiveness and receive it, even for murder.
Just sayin’. People do not care to hear that though even if it is 100% true.

His body died and his soul went back to GOD who gave it. No one is judged until Jesus Christ comeback on a cloud and judges the entire world.

Hi Lamont, just thought of something while watching & noticed the time of year. For your safety please wear a hunter orange ball cap or bandana if you're going to be walking in the woods that time of year.❤ Safety 1st bud from hunters. Video great, looked like & gorgeous place to walk & great exercise.
