So sad. She was only 21 years old. What a shame. And who could beat up a baby? This crime was committed by an animal. I hope DNA evidence will lead to the killer once and for all. Surely there are some vaginal swabs left over from the rape investigation. Thank you, Lamont for keeping her memory alive.

Wow, Lamont, WOW! I've never seen you start a video with a son's plea for help. He and I are a year apart in age. I can't imagine all the questions he has. I wonder if they ever checked out the boss that followed her home? I wonder if his half brothers family took revenge? I have a hundred questions!

My eldest child died 4 years ago, although I did have 5 younger children it was my granddaughter (2nd daughter’s child) who was born 6 days before my daughter died… she stopped me going down too far… I had to fight hard to keep going for her..
When we lost our big brother(oldest child) in 2009 I truly believe my Mom lost apiece of herself. Her life changed so traumatily!! I'm happy you found the strength to keep going! I testify that a hard hit. RIP TO MY MOM❤ I MISS YOU EVERYDAY❤❤❤❤

Many mothers are also abusive sociopaths, so do not romanticize it when people are decent. People who deliberately procreate should take care of their progeny, not the other way around.

I think it was a jealous other kid's mother...Specially with the small foot print on the neck...Fatal attraction...She beat up the rival baby....He probably told her he loved his wife and new baby and she snapped...I sure hope DNA helps find the killer...May the Lord shower Aaron and lamont with peace and blessings...RIP little angel...

The spelling of the victim’s son’s name is the more traditional spelling of Aaron. Mine is what you’d find more in England and my parents just decided to be different.

While the mother's picture was showing at the beginning of this video, my dog saw her face and came running over to the computer screen. He got as close as he could, tail wagging, and kept barking at her to get her attention. He sensed something in her he really liked.
Truly a remarkable love to his mother or any one's mother is very powerful till the end. Love this very much Lamont. I was touch to the core . 😢 Rip

God bless him. I was abandoned at 6 months old. From the story my grandfather told me- he said in 1964, he received a phone call from our mom’s babysitter and she said “Mr. Walker, do you want your four grandchildren because their mom hasn’t been back in 5 days, so I’m going to call the state of California and put them in foster care”-
We lived with our grandparents for 4 years until our moms brother came to get us in 1968. We had a new sister-
Our mom was getting remarried to an alcoholic, angry man. You can imagine the hell we endured. He beat her and us. Military man on top of everything else. There were no room for mistakes in his opinion. His father was harsh so he was harsh. We were a big catholic family. If it hadn’t been for Jesus 🙏🏽✨I would be dead today. All glory and honor and praise to Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior 🙏🏽✨

I'm so glad you covered this case. I grew up in South Charleston, and this case has haunted so many over the years.
Side note: not sure when you filmed the cemetery, but a tornado hit it on 2/28. It suffered some damage.

So, so sad. This was a rage killing. The way this young woman was murdered and even her baby being attacked and so gravely injured. Somebody was jealous of who (husband) and what (baby) this beautiful young woman had and wanted it for themselves. I wonder how the police missed that her husband had been having an affair and had another child with his mistress.

Breaks my heart, anyone abusing any vulnerable child. I'm so proud of my mother and father, truth be told, no matter whatever our disputes might have ever been. Seriously, put it in perspective and try to remember when you were little, how easily it could have been to be abused by any adult anywhere. So sad.

It’s 1:14 am here where I live. It’s peaceful, quiet, cozy and as I listen to this man tell his life’s story of that fateful night, it makes me reflect on my own life and how grateful I am for so many things. When I listen to stories like this, it makes me think I have nothing to complain about. This story is sad and courageous. It wasn’t a coincidence to be listening to this story at this time of night…it’s God my Heavenly Father. God bless you Lamont and to Aaron Taylor for sharing the story of his courageous mother.
