Love the color of that fluke. I have the Pearl and the Green Pumpkin. Every time I set a rod up for weightless fluke it looks so good then it looks even better in the water and I don't catch caca so it must be me.
I've never fished a fluke very much except as a trailer on spinnerbaits until watching your vids and others. So I put more effort into it recently as a jerkbait and after some trial and error with the retrieve last week I caught my first bass with it. Just a 14 incher but my confidence went sky high so now I will be throwing one more often. So thank you for all you do.
I love, love LOVE fishing a fluke, the bites are super fun and it's rare to miss a fish on them. My favorite rod to throw them on is a 6'6" M Abu Garcia.
Them damned geese follow me around no matter where I go! Sometimes it can be pretty fun to walk around crop-dusting people, especially at the grocery store!
Devon it’s been slow going and murky dismal here in Virginia and the DebosFishing Video truly makes my evening thank you. I want to get out and try a Fluke style plastic but there may not be any Fish large enough to grab a 4/0 Hook. I’m glad you are getting out dropping a line in. Semper Fidelis my Friend
Awesome Great Bank fishing video! This year I've been killing the dinks on a weightless nose rigged zoom fluke! The hook is exposed but it still comes through the grass very well. I'm having a really good hookup and staying hooked up ratio. I caught 15 yesterday morning and hour and a half!
First. I like the dink commercial break. That way we know the fish get less dinky or there's a big bass before the end of the video. Catching numbers is still fun.
Just saw this pop up on my feed and it made me laugh. Right this minute I'm on my way to a lake that just opened after reconstruction and restocking. What am I fishing with today???? Super Fluke and frogs!!!!!! Top water bite has yielded some 4 to 6 pounders in the last week but its been raining for days. Water is clear today and I know I'm going to be in some good fish. I'll keep you posted on this one!!!! Flukes have always been good to me. Awesome choice!!!
The fluke has been getting it done for me over the past couple years. I keep one tied on all the time now, though I will occasionally swap out for a Berkeley Gilly. Fluke makes a great follow up for those top water misses.
I haven't had a lot of luck on flukes the last couple years so I've kind of stopped using as much. Need to use them more though and figure out where they work best for me now. Old areas and conditions haven't been working lol.
I’ve had insane action on the Kalin's Sizmic Finesse Jerk Minnow in their “Silver Ghost” color pond fishing. Just an absolute blast skittering them across weeds like a panicked bait fish, drippin em thru the holes and watching wakes come from all directions. Super fun I’d not tried em before I saw em here Debo thanks!
Never really use flukes. I have some now I got a little more confidence. I might give is shot. Thanks to watching your video at least now and how to use him
I have a dedicated fluke rod and keep one tied on, Dobyns Champion XP 703 with a Daiwa Coastal TW 80 , 14# sunline sniper fc , my favorite color in a zoom super fluke is sungill , I dye the tail blue , not sure why but it seems to get bit more , this year I found the Xzone Whiplash shad and it was a game changer , has out produced the super fluke in a major way at least so far this spring and summer
The fluke was all me and a couple buddies would use back in the day but haven't used them in years. But definitely need to start using them again because they work. They're just something that I don't think about with all the other stuff that's out there now. Ever since I learned how to use a baitcaster it's hard for me to pick up the spinning rod. Power fishing is definitely more fun for me personally but the more finesse tactics work. Thanks Debo
Just wanted to thank you. I always struggle picking baits, and have been having limited luck catching all summer. Had a great day with my son fishing flukes after watching this video. New confidence bait!
Had two ticks crawling on me Friday while fishing! Once you find one your skin just crawls! Was just thinking about rigging up some super flukes too! Great video! Nice catches!
My go-to fluke style bait is the 6th sense Flush 5.2. Got me a solid 4 pounder this past weekend. Safe to say I'll be keeping one tied on year round 👍🏼
I fish a fluke almost year round, any and every pond and roadside ditch I find, to be fair, I do live in FL so pretty much every puddle could have a 7lb
I would've put money on the color being sprayed grass and I would've been wrong. I don't know when the appropriate time is to throw a fluke over a stick bait but when i do throw it it works.
Great video Debo! I love fluke fishing! It is something I use quite often in the fall. Thanks for sharing some really good information. Keep up the good work brother! As always, #DEBO'SFishing rocks!!!
I've come around to the zoom super flukes this year when the bite gets tough, and also the Jr size when downsizing other lures with a trailer like micro and mini chatterbaits with no skirt. Fish in my waters love those! Great videbo!
Good video sir! Fluke is an oldie but a goodie. So many brands try to imitate like the caffeine Shad, Shad impact etc. PS I’ve been using the core tackle hooks. The action on a soft jerkbait is absolutely insane!
Love the fluke ! Throw it a lot, way more than a stick bait. I use bait caster with heavy wire hook 4/0. Allows it to get deeper and glide. I think it’s a bait most don’t use and way overlook. Damb Geese
Love using a fluke. I've poured my own and have been successful. Watch out with those ticks. I just spent the last 6 days in the hospital getting antibiotics through an IV and a pill. I got a nasty infection. Nothing to mess with. Really freaked me out. Be careful out there!
I usually use the 6th Sense Divine (Gilldust) but that’s more of a paddle tail. I’m going out this weekend and will give the flukes a try again- it’s been a bit since I’ve thrown ‘em.
I prefer a 3/0 ewg screwlock hook for fluke fishing. Hook up ratio is better than a regular ewg hook .oh yea debo i guess there are no chiggers in Iowa? I avoid the ponds with high grass in the summer here in NJ
I kayaked a creek a couple of weeks ago and saw some smallies that wouldn't hit anything i threw at them. Tied on a Fluke Jr and got 2 of them to eat. Sometimes I have trouble getting the flukes to stay underwater and not right on top. Could it be the way im hooking the bait on or the 3/0 hook. Got any tips on that? 👊👍
Sometimes it's best to let it sit in one spot for 10 to 30 seconds especially if the bite is hard. Small jerks like a dying fish trigger a heck of a bite!
Debo, would you mind making a video with Magnum Flukes? I've caught fish with Flukes but find it difficult to reel in a monster when I up size. Nonetheless, enjoying the content!! Keep up the good work. Peace ✌.
Just had a great day throwing the white ice magnum fluke. Also if you like the purple passion color, check out the huckleberry color that bass pro makes some of their plastics in. It's watermelon on one side and lavender on the other. The beaver baits smash in that color
Debo, have you been to Iowa River Outdoors? They're right off 380 in Swisher/Shueyville exit 10. Awesome selection of baits and tackle, Todd the owner is one cool dude too! I told him about you and he said his son watches your channel. Also, do you ever answer your emails?
I don't know how you even were able to concentrate on fishing after finding the first tick, let alone a bunch of ticks. I'd have found a different less overgrown spot in a hurry. Thanks for braving the wilds of Iowa for our entertainment.
Love the color of that fluke. I have the Pearl and the Green Pumpkin. Every time I set a rod up for weightless fluke it looks so good then it looks even better in the water and I don't catch caca so it must be me.
Love the Miravel… although I have only used it twice as I haven’t gotten out fishing at all this summer. All work & no play makes for a sad summer.
"Geese are flying over." I don't throw a fluke near enough. Definitely something I need to pick up in my next tackle order.
Two baits to always carry...fluke and a senko. Love that color. Thanks Debo.
I've never fished a fluke very much except as a trailer on spinnerbaits until watching your vids and others. Fluke has been very productive for me. I've had best luck fishing it fast so it splashes on top. Fun smashes with it.
Ole debo put me to sleep late night lol passed out on the couch while watching! Lets try this again. Love me a fluke bite they come GET it
May need to do some DEBO ASMR!
Devon it’s been slow going and murky dismal here in Virginia and the DebosFishing Video truly makes my evening thank you. Ain't any ticks in a kayak 😉
Ain’t any😂😂
This is true!
Flukes are probably my personal favorite finesse tactic but the stick bait is always in my tackle bag also.
Those geese were hollerin😂
😂

I've caught more bass on Zoom flukes than any other lure, various combinations of green pumpkin and watermelon colors on spinning gear.
The fluke has been getting it done for me over the past couple years. I keep one tied on all the time now, though I will occasionally swap out for a Berkeley Gilly. Fluke makes a great follow up for those top water misses.
I like that purple. Gonna have to find some. I’ve been throwing baby bass color here lately.
I haven't had a lot of luck on flukes the last couple years so I've kind of stopped using as much. Need to use them more though and figure out where they work best for me now. Old areas and conditions haven't been working lol.

Haven’t really tried throwing a fluke. Just got the fishing room beginning to be organized… so I’ll give it a go!
Never really use flukes. I have some now I got a little more confidence. I might give is shot. Thanks to watching your video at least now and how to use him
Zoom is my usual go to fluke also. Pearl or bubblegum pink!

Never used a fluke before but I'll give it a try now. Good information Debo, thanks.
Per Steven Wright in Reservoir Dogs, it's Bo-hemoth👍😆
Just wanted to thank you. I always struggle picking baits, and have been having limited luck catching all summer. Had a great day with my son fishing flukes after watching this video. New confidence bait!
Means a lot to me man! Glad you guys went out and caught some feesh!
We don't care if they are all dinks, we just enjoy your videos. Love Flukes and will get some purple passion my next trip, awesome color. Thanks Debo.
Ticks and noisy geese...what a day, huh? I have some flukes but need to give them some time in the water. Great vid as always!
It was strange wilderness out there!
Thanks Debo. Good info as always. KEEP ON HAWGIN' and GO HAWKEYES!!!!!!
I love fishing flukes. I even work them over weeds.
I’ve never had luck on flukes, might have to give it another shot
Had two ticks crawling on me Friday while fishing! Once you find one your skin just crawls! Was just thinking about rigging up some super flukes too! Great video! Nice catches!
Right, they are all of a sudden everywhere 😮😂
My go-to fluke style bait is the 6th sense Flush 5.2. Got me a solid 4 pounder this past weekend. Safe to say I'll be keeping one tied on year round 👍🏼
I fish a fluke almost year round, any and every pond and roadside ditch I find, to be fair, I do live in FL so pretty much every puddle could have a 7lb
Been killing it with this fluke, thanks for the suggestion!
I picked up that rod for 82 dollars this winter and the 713 for 82 as well. Thanks for the awesome content tight lines!
How the hell did you do that?
I would've put money on the color being sprayed grass and I would've been wrong. I don't know when the appropriate time is to throw a fluke over a stick bait but when i do throw it it works.
Great video Debo! I love fluke fishing! It is something I use quite often in the fall. Thanks for sharing some really good information. Keep up the good work brother! As always, #DEBO'SFishing rocks!!!
I have been trying to use fluke more and it is a versatile one - even as a trailer. Great channel Debo!
6th sense flush is also a great soft plastic jerkbait! Got my PB on one of those
I've come around to the zoom super flukes this year when the bite gets tough, and also the Jr size when downsizing other lures with a trailer like micro and mini chatterbaits with no skirt. Fish in my waters love those! Great videbo!

PS I’ve been using the core tackle hooks. The action on a soft jerkbait is absolutely insane!
What size and weight hook do you use from core tackle. 4in fluke or 5in
I’ve really come to love the fluke. It’s my absolute confidence bait - rarely lets me down. I just added that color to my TW wishlist!
Nice video, I learned some new things. Thanks 👍🎣🇺🇸
Love the fluke ! Throw it a lot, way more than a stick bait. I use bait caster with heavy wire hook 4/0. Allows it to get deeper and glide. I think it’s a bait most don’t use and way overlook. Damb Geese
Gonna need to snag that color! Great stuff!
Love using a fluke. I've poured my own and have been successful. Watch out with those ticks. I just spent the last 6 days in the hospital getting antibiotics through an IV and a pill. I got a nasty infection. Nothing to mess with. Really freaked me out. Be careful out there!
I always enjoy your vids. Good education on how to and what you used about it!
Appreciate that a lot!
Fluke is great I like the white pearl color
White flukes are excellent for night fishing!
Great video as always! I just started to use the fluke, haven’t caught anything yet! Going to keep trying!
I usually use the 6th Sense Divine (Gilldust) but that’s more of a paddle tail. I’m going out this weekend and will give the flukes a try again- it’s been a bit since I’ve thrown ‘em.
Loved the video, nice 2 pounder
White or green pumpkin red flukes are great. I use the fluke when I want to cover water and mix in target casting.
You should try the 6th Sense flush (soft jerkbait). Pretty durable and it has a real nice shimmy when you let it drop. You should do a review on it.
Love the flukes
Hope them geese did not leave any droppings!!!! LOL! Deep woods off anytime walking in vegetation, hate ticks. Thanks for the vid kid!
Thankfully, it was just a couple honks and no shartprises 😅
gonna throw the white pearl fluke next time i’m out on the water. haven’t thrown them in a while. Also tick galore! 😳😳
Definitely catch more fish on fluke. Confidence bait for me.
I’ve got a few of those lures but haven’t try them yet , definitely will be trying those on the next trip
I prefer a 3/0 ewg screwlock hook for fluke fishing. Hook up ratio is better than a regular ewg hook .oh yea debo i guess there are no chiggers in Iowa? I avoid the ponds with high grass in the summer here in NJ
Yeah, those work really well, especially in grass so it can't pull the bait down the hook!
Nice day of fishing, except the ticks
I kayaked a creek a couple of weeks ago and saw some smallies that wouldn't hit anything i threw at them. Tied on a Fluke Jr and got 2 of them to eat. Sometimes I have trouble getting the flukes to stay underwater and not right on top. Could it be the way im hooking the bait on or the 3/0 hook. Got any tips on that? 👊👍
Use some bug repellent! Maybe ask your sponsors for some to test on that spot.
That sounded like the elusive bubble gut goose that flew over 😂
B's & G's goose...😅
@@DEBOSFishing I find it if I’m going to encounter one, it’s usually after lunch when I’ve just got to my fishing spot
Love fishing a fluke good video
Ahhhh check the BAG really well for Ticks lol they seem to get up there without you knowing..!!!
Man they did just sneak in on it before!
are you throwing them weightless or is the hook weighted? also cool sling pack which one is that ?
Just a weightless fluke with and ewg hook
I use flukes when I want to work it faster. I just have a terrible hook up ratio with them though.
Watch out for those geese bro!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thats why I NEVER go bank fishing in shorts. Just handling ticks like that is dangerous.
Fluke is something I really need to learn
Sometimes it's best to let it sit in one spot for 10 to 30 seconds especially if the bite is hard. Small jerks like a dying fish trigger a heck of a bite!
There really is nothing to learn, they catch fish regardless of how you work them, I once caught a 6.5 lb reeling it straight back to the boat
...I think you gave me the fluke bug! Imma throw that tomorrow!
8:36 Bromance ❤
Debo what’s the durability like on the flukes you use?
Is that Miravel blue? Really hard to tell from the pictures online.
Like a dark blue yeah
Enjoy the video still learning about the fluke haven't used it a whole lot yet
Debo, would you mind making a video with Magnum Flukes? I've caught fish with Flukes but find it difficult to reel in a monster when I up size. Nonetheless, enjoying the content!! Keep up the good work. Peace ✌.
Haven't thrown the magnum size much but need to!
Just had a great day throwing the white ice magnum fluke. Also if you like the purple passion color, check out the huckleberry color that bass pro makes some of their plastics in. It's watermelon on one side and lavender on the other. The beaver baits smash in that color
I love clues

enjoyed the debo dink clip
If you don't like fixing your fluke after every fish, try using a 30° hook with a screw lock. Makes the fluke last a lot longer as well.
Great video, I haven’t had much luck on the Fluke but I’ll keep trying. Any suggestions is much appreciated. Thanks Debo.
Any Debo dinks out there!!!lol always enjoy your videos
I'm sorry, but are you rigging that in the opposite direction you would a texas rig?
I'm not sure what you mean?
Looks like it's sliding up the line? Are we just setting the eye in the head of the plastic and letting the line hold the bait?
I don't know how you even were able to concentrate on fishing after finding the first tick, let alone a bunch of ticks. I'd have found a different less overgrown spot in a hurry. Thanks for braving the wilds of Iowa for our entertainment.
It was like welp...already here...gotta grind it out 😅
Nice music! 😂😂😂
What size hook were you using
I just had a 3/0 ewg
I feel pretty confident that if we somehow managed to drive ticks extinct the ecosystem wouldn't be any worse for wear
I have the same tackle bag 😎
My pb is on a green pumpkin fluke tail dyed chartreuse on a split shot rig aka mojo rig aka poor man's carolina rig. Lol. 7# 9iz if you wanted to know
Have you tried BFS, if not your missing out
Not much. Got a combo and will be trying it more!
I missed who Won the “Bank and Creek Bag”. That looked like a lot of goodness for many hours of Feeshin….
I fish a fluke.... uhh next year I guess. I do need to give em more time!
Can it be fish on a baitcaster?
On a bfs setup
@@tims_always_fishing7117 sorry I’m new what’s thAt lol
Yes the fluke can be fished on medium action baitcaster the fluke Jr is better on spinning or bfs
@@gregchilders7643 what’s bfs
The Strike King Caffeine Shad is the 🐐 when it comes to soft jerkbaits.
Those damn geese 😂
Just like you I don't throw the fluke nearly enough.
