The BEST Bank Fishing Plastic? (I Need to Use it MORE!)

- One EASY way to mimic baitfish is with a FLUKE! This is a bait that I often overlook. I've had a lot of success throwing these over the years. However, I tend to pick up a stick bait as my weightless plastic instead. The fluke is hard to beat around fish that are targeting bait!

Great one Debo. I woke up this morning feeling like complete crap. Turned this video on and couldn’t help but laugh. Thank you my friend.
Haha love it! Glad my vids can help folks a bit 👊
Great video. Love throwing a fluke. I use smaller ones on NED. I throw the super fluke weightless, drop shot, jig head, weight swim bait hook and wacky. Everyone throws a senko, so throw a fluke
Love the bank fishing videos. I haven't gotten out much the last few months. Videos like this keep me upbeat whether I get out or not. Thank you Debo!
I need to throw a Fluke more. Thanks for the video
What about an inline spinner for bass video? I am convinced a #2 Mepps is the best all around fresh water lure. I had a dressed #4 on while fishing as a storm front rolled in and was tearing up bass and some aggressive yellow perch.
Great Day out my friend alright and Lunkers on the Spinning Gear right on and I’m still using the Spinning Reel and working on a Baitcasting Reel to replace my others but still trying to get out. You can’t catch anything sitting at Home. Stay safe Devon
I’m go stoked you’re posting videos again. Love your channel brotha.
Glad you like to nerd out of fishing.
Looking forward to Debo Feeshes Dropshot!
I'm here my man. I started making content finally it's not as good as your but I just started. Keep rippin lips man.
What's your channel? I'll check it out
Hey Debo, the old twitch, twitch let it die. Great when the fall bite kicks off. About the only thing that beats it for me are live minnows & a bobber. I learned on a zebco when I was a kid. Good memories. Have a few in the garage for the nieces & nephews.
Debo that was a great review i cant believe you fished the dropshot good for you man, tight lines
Man I love your videos. I don't watch as much as I would like to just due to the time available for me, but you are so down to earth, and keep it fairly simple without overcomplicating things like some people do.
The Fluke is one of my favorite baits for sure. I have done really well on it, especially during the Fall time of the year. Thanks for sharing another great video Debo!
Love it Debo! I need to spend more time with a fluke. Co-polymer lines work great for me.
Good video Debo, nice bass👍
Got on a fluke bite earlier in the summer, had to pick some new colors up after your lady fluke video.
Good stuff, as always! Keep up the great work, Debo!
Ey Debo, good to see you're still catching. It's getting a little tough here in Massachusetts. The weather ain't been great lately either. Been lucking out with beaver baits and imitation craws🤙🏻.
Caught my first frog fish of course it was a Debo dink now I’m hooked on frog fishing
Love me some frog feesh!
Dude, I gotta start throwing the fluke more often, too. Don't know why I always overlook it, but I was tediously trying to work my drop shot around a thick grass edge the other day, when I could have just tossed a weedless fluke right into the thick of it and probably triggered a LOT more bites. The bass were prowling the grass for baitfish, and my stubborn brain just wanted to fish a confidence rig, lol.
As always, loved both the on-water portion and the gear review, man! Thanks for always putting out great content.
Great video! I just ordered the Abu Garcia Revo sx
Great video. You were smashing them on the fluke. My PB is on super fluke green pumpkin tail died chartreuse.
Watching a spring lure video from a couple years ago. You said bank fishing doesn't get enough love. How true. I would be very interested in facts and figures on how us unappreciated bankers carry the sport year in and year out. It's very similar to NASCAR fleecing the trailer courts of america ripping off those who can afford it least. Thanks for representing us casting from shore while getting flipped off from passing boaters. I hope you and your family have a safe and prosperous new year
Great vid! Hello from PA sorry PSU had to beat you guys so bad.
That was a pathetic game to see 😪
Bro you got me turned onto the fluke and I slammed em on it this summer. Don’t hate on the drop shot man I’ve done super well with em with GULP minnows when nothing else would work!
That was a good video. I wasn’t planning on going fishing tomorrow, but I’m going now and I’m tying on a fluke.
Hope you get some on a fluke!
Great video debo 🎣👍 happy fishing Wednesday
The thing I like about you Debo is that you would have the same conversation if Randy was standing next to you. By the way, he's Randrizzle to me until he throws something other than a jig!
After this season, with 5 between 5-7 lbs., my go to is the 6" or 7" Googan Dart...made me a believer, as they cast great, great action, and last decent on a screw lock hook
Those soft jerks(z-man jerk shadz) are my #1 confidence bait. Great to see some nice catches on them They pair very well with underspins, but man do the pike love to steal em. Keep up the feeshin!
Awesome video, he now that fall transition his coming in Florida. Wanted to know if you could make a video on how to break down a lake/pond. I’m new to fishing and watch your videos to learn a lot!
I definitely miss Gander Mountain, I bought a lot of tackle from the Davenport store. I was never in the Cedar Rapids store. Nice video, especially the rod and reel combo.
The fluke is my go-to here in East Texas. It wrecks em in all this year-round grass and vegetation - even at night!
Great Video as always! I've been having really good luck with the fluke the last month or so. I've been using an octopus hook nose exposed. Gives it more action and really hasn't been too bad about catching grass..
Great video as always keep up the great work
Dizzle already had his jig stuck in a log somewhere. The voice over commentary though!!😂 Heyyy, dont be ashamed of using the forbidden setup! It'll catch em'. All seriousness, hope all is well with Randy, I know he had to leave the Live early last week so 🙏 for Mr. Dizzle
Yeah, he was just a sleepy Billy that day. 😴
The Fluke is my go to in the Spring and early Fall. I’ve caught some of my best fish and my PB using one.
Alot of people bash Googan baits, but their 6 & 7" Googan Darts are fantastic soft jerks...screw lock hook...caught me 5, 5-7 lb. ers this year...trophies for ohio
Bubble Gum (pink) flukes crush here on the east coast during the fall
i would love to see some more bait making videos!
The fluke was hot for me tonight. Lots of back to back catches. Most were true dinks with a couple pound and a half’ers, but any fish is good fish. Honestly the fluke has been doing the bulk of the work all year for me lately. I keep one tied on most of the time and when the fluke isn’t on the hook a Berkley Gilly is.
Lmaooo “noo noo jigs for life” subbing for that alone
My number 1 confidence bait. 5" big bite baits jerk minnow tilapia is🔥.
Love a good fluke video!
The content is always well thought out. I get something out of each video. Always watch the video all the way through.
Pretty crazy to catch two 3lbers and a bunch under 1lb in one video. Then make another drop shot video after.
Thanks man, appreciate those kind words. Yeah, great day of fluke catching!
I pretty much only throw a fluke in the fall (not sure why) but they friggin catch em! Big fan of the dink of the week clip too lol
I picked up some of the Walmart brand Ozark Trail version in a Smokey Shad and have been killing it here in Tx.
Loved it! Dinkin with Debo
Debo, try the Jr or even tiny size when those tiny baitfish come out in the Fall. Killer.
If you're pushing your plastic over the knot I'd recommend tying a Palomar. I tied a uniknot once with a fluke but I think when I pushed the plastic over the knot it kind of loosened the barrel of the knot and I lost a fish as it just came undone completely.
Your not close enough to arkansas or i would come fish with ya debo. Im used to catching dinks, we would be a good team. Lol loved the video.
Right up my alley 🤣
@@DEBOSFishing got 2 monsters today a 14" and a 12"
Ok, had to comment again after the Dizzle commentary had me dying!! 💀 😅😅
I gotta get a couple Intenzas, 1 cast 1 spin. Get yourself a gomexus power knob for that revo, hell all of your spinning reels!!
Around me all the baitfish are dark, the junebug flukes are how I’ve caught 80% of my fish this year.
Cranking hard with the big knobs!!! 😂
You rock Debo!! Did Ran-Dizzle ever grace you with his presence that day?
Only a out 4 hrs late...LOL
I definitely need to fish the fluke and fluke style baits more like that. I mostly leave them at home lol or use them as trailers lol. I do have one tied on now if i can get pit soon ill throw it.
6 & 7" Googan Dart soft jerkbaits were my go to's this season...screw lock hook...the 5" is very good too, but I always throw the bigger size
Really like the fluke’s the different sizes and salt content. Very nice combo definitely like the handle and not having your fingers rest on any threads. Will be happy to see you use it on your fav fishing technique! Have a great week Debo! And thanks.
Deebo what would you say is the best way to fish the fluke and what do you look for?
The day Dizzle beats you to the water is the day he posts his first video
He has beat me a couple of times. He's sure to not let me forget that day too 🤣
Need the big ones!
Yesterday afternoon, I experienced largemouth suddenly going berserk all around me chasing shad. I quickly threw a white fluke and they hammered it as it hit the water. It was total chaos. It ended about as quickly as it began. But, I went from having no bites to landing 4 largemouth in a 10 minute span!
Man those feeding frenzies are so dang fun!
I have had a hell of a time trying to get the feesh to eat a fluke….. trying to gain confidence in them and don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
I think I caught a Debo dink of the week this morning, looked to be about the same size. It was lovely til they changed their minds and stopped eating.
Need to get dizzle a sticker that reads "jigs for life"!
Thats why I prefer using baitcasters over spinning especially with the 1000 size reels im a big guy (6ft 4 250lbs)and hate it when the bail smacks off my knuckles. Would be nice if they made reels with a longer neck from the foot cause i like using spinning in windy conditions
A few days ago , I had brought just two rods , spook and neg , was hitting them left and right , 2-3 pounders . Next day it rain , went out only small fish biggest 1 pounder , then lots of rain throughout the night , higher water went out and NOTHING !!! What happen ??
I wonder if I’m in the minority as I throw flukes on a bait casting set up, and often with straight braid.
That's what I lean towards. With the bigger fluke.
I do throw them on both. Really just a preference
Yo debo, how are the durability on the zoom flukes?? i’ve been using Yum flukes but they’re usually busted up after a fish or 2
I'd say most of the ones I've tried hold up to a couple fish each, just depends I guess
Yo DEBO have you ever tried 6th Sense flush (fluke)? Would love to know your thoughts on it.
I think once and it was ok.
You don't use the grande bass flukes at all anymore?
Bad a$$ video bud, keep up the good work
Fluke stays in the bag all year long until the ice hits
Yeah I’ll put down the stick bait and try the these, can’t wait for spring 2025
Just an observation. Almost all of your catches came when you were jerking up, toward 11 or 12 o'clock. I don't know if you had any jerking more parallel to the ground. Maybe a little pattern that day, perhaps the bigger jumps from horizontal movement was too much for them that day.
Poor Dizzle 😂 #jigsforlife
Debo. Do you ever put a bead on your line so you don't reel your swivel into the guides?
Nope, that's not a bad idea though!
I remember when i would buy a reel and they would include a wench to take it apart!! What happened to those days
I think I'll throw a fluke tomorrow.
I must be fishing them wrong. I have 2 bags of flukes and I haven't caught a damn thing. NOT even a bite.
Find some grass, docks, cover, etc. Pop, pop, pop and let it fall
@DEBOSFishing appreciate it bro. I'll keep ya posted.
@DEBOSFishing do you put a split shot or bullet weight? I couldn't see in the video. Thanks!
debos dink of the week
Randy- if you do t go outside and play with your friend!
Hey, I need to buy since flukes! Does anyone know Debo's TW code? Thanks! 👊
Oh, I gotcha, my bad. Debo has channel support links and not a code for TW. I'll use the links in the description. Thanks for the great videos!
Cmon dizzle if there is anything in life I’m 15 mins early for is fishing work party’s etc I’m late but ask to go fishing I’m there 15-30 mins early lol
What’s up brother
Where the heck was ol randy !
Just a tad late...4hrs late...LOL
Have you ever tried the Max Scent baits... i get alot of bites on them myself. I like the hawg in south african color
Yeah, I like the max scent stuff
i guess dirty dizzle never showed up, smh 😑
Well...4hrs later he did LOL
Debo-🎣
Dizzle-😴
A DROPSHOT?!
Spinning rods twist your line by their nature. We do whe best we can with them because theyre crucial. I use braid to leader though. Hate line twist and wind knots every time you over fill your spool( which i always get greedy with it) you lose 10 to 20 feet in wind knots. Nerves can only handly good braid alberto knotted to big game mono.
Does anyone like small knobs ? Lol
Good evening Debo I been watching you for about a year to this day today that I started watching you and love the content you up load I don’t leave comment.. on the videos because of my grammar and spelling 😂 but love the channel keep up the great job Tight line 🎣💯🫡
Appreciate it a lot man!
Flukes are something I don't pick up that much! Guess i should probably start! #jigs4life haha
