*I used to fish with a Crippled Killer growing up in the 50/60’s and **enjoyable.fishing** recommend think this lure gas a smoother propeller action. It is a great surface lure.*
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
I've had other BPM baits ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!
I asked, I received. Thanks for this vid! Since I lost my job to the Covid I've taken up bass fishing to stay sane, and your informative vids have been super helpful and entertaining. Bank fishing gets ignored on RUclips very often, but you always find a way to keep it in the forefront.

Thanks to you I have learned how to use a baitcaster and learned to take my time and learned some cool new ways to use lures I have gated for years. I'm glad I found your channel 🐟
That’s pretty much how I fish in the fall too. Use a fluke a lot more than swimbaits and down sized worms t-rigged instead of Ned rigs. About the same thing with similar results. Great vid! Your imformative posts are always top notch. Really enjoy them 👍👍
I usually have a skinny dipper, a drop shot and a wacky rig with me. Of course I have other stuff in my backpack, but those are what I start with this time of year
DEBO, What am I gonna do with you? You never fail to constantly give me new things to learn about bank fishing. All I can say is Thank you. I love your videos. Keep it up. Jim McCool Wichita, KANSAS
Totally agree with you debo my favorite lure it's a mc swimbait 2in or 3inc on a owner dart jig 3/8 major craft jigpara spin 7gram any color lucky craft gunfish topwater 3/8 warbait underspin 3/8 and the 1/2 crankbaits cotton those lure always catches fish seriously
Thanks for sharing your knowledge for bank anglers! My son and I are getting big into the Ned Rig. My son just caught a 4lb 1oz Largemouth on a Ned Rig a few nights ago.
Really awesome video Debo. Great detailed breakdown of each bait and combo, much appreciated! Side note: I guarantee that if you come up with some kind of merchandise (hats, t-shirts, hoodies), so many of us would buy it up, you could buy twice as much gear/tackle! I'd be more than happy to rock a Debo hat/hoodie all the time. Just a thought brother.
Great information! You are very knowledgeable on fishing techniques, equipment, etc... and you share it in a way that anyone can understand it! I have learned so much from this type of video. Keep teaching us about the different baits, hooks, equipment, and all we need to know about fishing! I would love to catch a big fish but I would much rather just catch fish regardless of size! Thanks for the hard work you do to make videos!
Some good fall bait on this list. I just recently found that topwater Poppers are good fall bait when Smallmouths are blowing up on shad. My dad and I were catching them left and right on small sexy shad color poppers.
I don’t use the Ned rig as much as I should but my only add ons would be the swim jig, jerkbaits, and as much as I love walking baits it’s hard to beat a buzz bait for me in the fall when they are pushing bait and aggressive a buzz bait is my go to
Great breakdown. Very extensive and so much good info. Thanks for all the details Debo. This is my first Fall bass fishin and this one helped me a lot. Definitely one to save and watch again.
For years one of my best fall baits was a charlie brewer slider head with a 4" worm. They stand up a little, like a ned rig, and rig weedless for nice penetration in weeds or lily pads. Now days, I start with a topwater, move to a spinner bait if I'm getting follows and no blowups, and will throw my slider setup if they just want to be lazy or are in heavy cover.
You’re an encyclopedia of information. I’m taking notes like like I’m in middle school. Lol Thanks brotha. New feesher friend here and looking forward to applying everything I learn and having a hell of a time. (Wish I got more free lures too) lol Thanks again Debo.
Great vid Debo. Totally agree, my favorite weedless man head is flatlands. This past yr I’ve been using the jewel lifted Ewg, and I think I like them as much if not more. Ha ha. Another thing speaking of Z man, the spring the bugZ What is my number one! God bless!
I've had good luck this fall using frogs in NW Iowa ... love the weedless side of it, just have to give it a second for the fish to suck it in before you set the hook. Thanks for the tips and advice!
Really good info, thank you. I'm still taking it all in right now. I've never done Fall fishing. Fall was always my busy season at work so Spring and Summer were my fishing times. Now I am going full on with a Fall fishing line up. Really jazzed about it‼️👍. Because I haven't done it before, I'll be stocking up on several of your top 5. That should get me started off very well as I build up my confidence for Fall 🎣. Thanks again for all you do for all of us and our budget minded wallets. ❤️ That‼️.
Great info! Was taking notes as fast as I can....anxious to get onto the ned rig baits. (as a bank fisherman, I truly appreciate input like yours that help those without boats...which seem to be the focus of most other youtube videos I seen)
Debo could ya do some video on fishing murky slow rivers? Out here in Tualatin Oregon that's what I have to work with. Nightcrawlers seem to be the only thing that works
finesse jig and wacky rig has done the most for me for smallies in a clear local lake..only recently building up a little stock of swim baits and spinner baits
Thank you for your wisdom! Your videos are awesome and I'm glad i stumbled upon your channel. Trying lures that you mention and it's awesome catching bass on the ones I have never used before 😁
Crazy good timing on this video. I was going to put new line on a couple of setups for fall here in Iowa. Now I know what to do! I have three tackle warehouse boxes of fall baits and line. Time to get setup. Just hope that we actually get a fall here in Iowa and not straight to snow lol.
Great content, love how you included your preferred setup for each lure and technique. Swimbaits are my favorite and go to (1/4 ounce head with 4.75 inch feider shad bio spawn exo swim). I still throw a drop shot with wacky rigged senko for finesse when I feel like slowing it down. Going to try your Ned suggestion as I need to build more confidence in that rig. Recently purchased an A Rig and looking forward to throwing that around. Thank you for the post, really good breakdown and suggestions!
Thanks Debo always appreciate the tips especially about the rod reels and line, I keep thinking I’ve got the wrong setups being used for the wrong applications but watching you I know I’m at least using what I should
Your tips have really helped sharpen my angling skills and enjoyment. Thanks for the fantastic content and keep it up! +1 on the ned rig. The jerk bait would also the in my top 5 for fall.
Debo! Awesome information haven't had time to fish been busy fighting these fires out here in California but I'm home now so my son and I will be heading out to a pond this weekend. I really appreciate that info! Thanks!

HomeGrownPyro I’m way down south so it’s been mid 70s and the fish have been tearing up the spinner bait and flukes. Today my friend caught 7 (small lmb) in about a 45 min span.
So far my go to has been the ned rig and the reaction innovations skinny dipper weightless texas rigged but it has been a struggle for me idk maybe I'm doing something wrong but first time I have been fall fishing when I was a kid didn't know as much as I do know thanks to you Debo!! I had luck the other day with the Ned Rig using a Googan Rattlin' Ned Moon Cake color. These little stick baits rattle. Always enjoy your videos. They are so helpful.
Thanks Debo! Another awesome video. This is my first fall fishing and just throwing some soft bait worms Texas rigged. I’ll have to throw some of the baitfish styles over the next week.
Always good info. My fall go to is a bluegill swim jig as well as the Reaction Innovation Skinny or Little dipper on a 1/8oz belly weighted swimbait hook and a screw lock. If I need to slow down, i'll go with a T rigged worm or a ned rig.

Great info! The cool breeze had me wanting to try some different set ups. Lipless & jerk bait worked great this past weekend. Going to have to get some of those erg ned heads. Lost about 5 open hooks last trip out. Your content is always appreciated!
Great content as always! Gotta go with the lipless crankbait and the finesse jigs in the fall. I really don’t know why I lug a backpack full of tackle around when I’m only gonna throw these 2 baits.
