    I just made something pretty similar to this the other day. I highly recommend adding some gochujang into a sauce like this. I think it adds much better flavor than red pepper flakes for the heat. You can also cut down the honey a bit, since gochujang is a bit sweet and fruity itself.
    The dish I made was with noodles instead of rice. It's worth mentioning that if you're using noodles, the frozen vegetable mixes are not as good as preparing the fresh vegetables yourself, unfortunately. When you cut them yourself, you can cut them thinner and in a sort of elongated shape that will blend with the noodles better than the chunky cut of most frozen stir fry vegetables. But a big benefit of the noodle version of a dish like this is that it makes more sense to eat them cold (especially in the summer).

    I think the thing that people don't notice about these videos is that this is a fast cooking time while also dealing with filming and manning cameras. If you're doing literally nothing but the cooking, it's actually going to be even faster than this.
    Great recipe, too. Thanks for uploading this.

    Hey Josh! I’ve been using the Rubbermaid Brilliance containers, I like them a bit better than the ones your using (that you don’t love) they come in glass or plastic, the plastic ones are really really good, similar to Nalgene water bottle plastic as it doesn’t discolour or scratch easily. They have a fully exposed rubber seal, so their easier to clean, and as a bonus the latches hid a steam vent so you can pop the latches to allow steam to escape when reheating.Their a bit pricy but they hold up really well.

      @@TheMealPrepManual I was mostly joking because i just noticed that u updated it like 3 times. if you want my general opinion on what makes a thumbnail good for YOUR videos though, as a random dude who likes the videos, i like it when your thumbnails show off the actual look of the food. I personally like it when theyre a bit more zoomed in on one meal, it shows off an appealing look meal that can be batch prepped. when theyre real zoomed out its hard to really tell what the recipes end product is
      Look at your recent breakfast meal preps for instance, those i like the thumbnails for because they show off a good looking final product, but to me when the thumbnail is a zoomed out collection of 5 identical boxes, it looks less appealing, and when i scroll through past videos, imo they all seem nearly identical. Maybe itd be cool to plate one up like a regular, non-prepped meal and picture that up close, and just have the boxes in the background or something like you did with the fritata thing recently

    • @adrianaline_rush
      @adrianaline_rush 14 дней назад

      @@DeathToMayo I disagree, in my opinion breakfast should be distinct as there are lots of flavors in textures I don't want to wake up to first thing in the morning. Mad respect for using a rice cooker. It's one of the few one-use appliances that I'd never go without in a kitchen.
    Frozen vegetables aren't actually that bad, they're usually frozen at their freshest, and as long as you're not keeping it improperly it's not much worse than fresh veg that's harder to store.
