    The drummer is Maciej "Darkside" Kowalski. He's been in bands like MasseMord, Thy Disease, Darzamat, Mournedge etc....His other band, as mention, Kriegsmachine is also really awesome

    The saviors get crucified line doesn't mean that we forgot about the event, just that people forgot the message.
    It was a futile sacrifice.

    • @DeathBlocks
      @DeathBlocks Год назад +2

      I read it as things move on, not literal get over it. Especially with the preceding lines.
      But I am not surprised that they spoke about it like that. I don't mean it in a rude way but they have a strange tendency to interpret things way too literally at times, like in a very non metal fan way if that makes sense. I assumed it was just when they started out and getting used to stuff but they still do it at times.

    M and Darkside (guitar/vocal + drummer) their other band is also super impressive. Kriegsmaschine - 'Residual Blight' would be a good start.

    "Overskurkens moral" is a wordplay and fictional word from Henrik Ibsen that means "the morality of a higher immorality"
    literal meaning; The leader of thieves.
    ( over - over/above)
    (over-hodet - leader/Head Chief)
    (hode-head)
    ( skurken - thief/rogue)
    blackmetal fans are next level. imagine being Polish and casually using this word.. wtf i dont get it

    The fact that y'all can analyze nihilistic black metal from a devout Christian standpoint and be open minded about it is such a wonderful thing. I say this as an atheist - the world needs more Christians like you

    The Jews may believe anyone hung on a tree is cursed, however, the Germans previous to Christianity worshipped a God who hung on a tree as their chief God.
    More interesting is how the cross was a religious symbol of the sun long before Jesus.

    • @christophernewton8474
      @christophernewton8474 Год назад +1

      And the cross was not a symbol of Christianity until long after Christianity spread out of Palestine. The Christians adopted the cross from Roman paganism (not that I am necessarily declaring that to be a problem, though I'm not exactly a Christian) in which the cross was a solar symbol.
      I'm more of a pagan sun worshipper myself but I think it would be interesting to you as Christians to think of this: Jesus was crucified on a cross, a solar symbol. An honest man works himself to death in the light of the sun for his family because he has nothing to hide. The sun itself, according to scientific theory at least, is crucifying itself providing life with all of the energy necessary. All energy on the earth comes from the sun (with the exception of radioactive decay), and the sun provides that energy by fusing bits of itself into heavier atoms which will eventually lead to it's destruction. It's literally burning itself out for us.

      Just read "the last messiah" from peter zapffe
      Quoting him
      "If we continue these considerations to the bitter end, then the conclusion is not in doubt. As long as humankind recklessly proceeds in the fateful delusion of being biologically fated for triumph, nothing essential will change. As its numbers mount and the spiritual atmosphere thickens, the techniques of protection must assume an increasingly brutal character.
      And humans will persist in dreaming of salvation and affirmation and a new Messiah. YET WHEN MANY SAVIOURS HAVE BEEN NAILED TO TREES AND STONED ON THE CITY SQUARES, THEN THE LAST MESSIAH SHALL COME.
      Then will appear the man who, as the first of all, has dared strip his soul naked and submit it alive to the outmost thought of the lineage, the very idea of doom. A man who has fathomed life and its cosmic ground, and whose pain is the Earth’s collective pain. With what furious screams shall not mobs of all nations cry out for his thousandfold death, when like a cloth his voice encloses the globe, and the strange message has resounded for the first and last time:
      “- The life of the worlds is a roaring river, but Earth’s is a pond and a backwater.
      - The sign of doom is written on your brows - how long will ye kick against the pin-pricks?
      - But there is one conquest and one crown, one redemption and one solution.
      - Know yourselves - be infertile and let the earth be silent after ye.”
      And when he has spoken, they will pour themselves over him, led by the pacifier makers and the midwives, and bury him in their fingernails.
      He is the last Messiah. As son from father, he stems from the archer by the waterhole."

    I noticed Sori shed a little tear on "Saviors get crucified", and lyrics hit her, while Vin was all on drumming and rhythm guitar.
    This band, out of many, but is majorly outstanding, shows that not all black metal is about worshiping Satan(ism). I personally listen atmospheric black metal predominantly, I am Orthodox Christian and it kind of goes along with flow and philosophy. of questioning, understanding and recoguising stuff, and art.
    Vin there went a bit off since I last watched your, you were "Christians react to ...", now he's an atheist, and in this footage he quotes Muhammad. Got a drift? Plus the erroneous noise how to send you money. Are you really that poor and do not work for your mixbreeds, and only RUclips brings food on table?
