I drive an F20 Series 1 (2019) 1.5 STAGE 1 from 136powerhorse to 170.. and i love it ❤️
What’s consumpcion in your model? In the city and mix driving?
did the fuel consumption go up a lot after the upgrade? any other issues? I heard the most common issue is the change of flywheel as a result of the more HP.
did engine still alive in current time after tuning?
Quite fast for 136hp, just takes forever to get there !
This is where they should be shoving all the 8- and 10-speeds not sports cars, the gear ratios here are damn low.
the auto gearbox for F20 118i is ZF 8HP 8-speed auto, same stuff they use on other auto BMWs.
current gen F40 118i and other FWD BMWs as well as Mini Cooper with this engine has Getrag 7DCT300 wet clutch 7-speed DCT as long as it is after mid-2018. before that they run the Aisin 6-speed auto.
My 1 pet peeve with this car is the clutch delay valve. It makes the car so difficult to drive smoothly with even after fitting a brand new clutch and flywheel. The engine even at idle also rattles so much and sounds like it’s going to blow
nice video, could you test the jetta 1.4 tsi 150 hp manual transmision?
I like this car, but this engine unfortunately has so much rev hanging between gear changes so that it's almost impossible to drive it smooth.
Get a stage I tuning
I got this car but with a 8 speed auto transmission and a stage 1 tune. It runs 181HP, must say it drives much better then stock. I recommend this to everyone who got this engine.
@@kennyvanderhallen388 did you put it on a dyno? Normally you can’t get more than 175HP
@@8teate Yes it is tuned with a dyno by BR-Performance Belgium. My car runs now at 181HP & 275Nm torque, with RON 98 fuel, maybe thats why it had more then 175HP. There are some cars with even 190HP after a stage 1 tune with this engine.

I once drive my 116i F20 136hp up to 220km/h, and it might faster.
over 235 km/ . One day i tried the diesel 150hp and get a265 km/h speed on odometer .Bmw 1 is a beast
118i but its not a 1.8. Better off just putting 1.5T on the back. Just my opinion and not a strongly held one either.

The gear ratios on this BMW are waaay too wide, it's doing over 200kmh in 4th! My e46 320d would be in 6th at that speed
You can't compare petrol and diesel in gear ratios.
It's 175 hp. 136 it's a 116i
