sheep won't go through the gate. cows won't go through the gate. primelines go through the fence. Anarchy!!
Need some order in the court!!
I can hear all the comments in an aussie accent
Thanks tara and slug. ❤the video. You gave a great tutorial of what went on today. Sorry you don't feel well. Hope it is only for a couple of days. Tske care and give Slug a hug .
Thanks for watching like or Typo will put you in a pen with a cow.
Love ❤️ 😘
Cows don't like being worked in a car. 🤣☠️
As long as it's not a Brahman 😂 they are all crazy.
Oh no 😳not the cow ! Lol
Jesus Typo! Not the bloody cow!
just want to say based on the intro, these past episodes haven’t felt like “poor me” at all to me! i appreciate seeing the ups and downs. it’s refreshing not to get served only the good stuff. that said, i hope things turn around and treat you better soon!
Thank you I appreciate that and see a lot of people agree with you.
Cattle are just on the edge of smart enough to know that a, they don't want to do what you want them to, and b, they're big enough to get away with not doing it XD
Yes. This is very true. I can see why dogs that work on cattle as SO MUCH.
But at least cows are smarter than sheep.
Just remember to be slow and relaxed when movin them.
@@malcolmpasPretty low bar! 😂😂😂
@Borbsii 😂😂😂 OMG how did I miss that!
20:05 the look on Typos face as she runs past..."am I a bloody good girl or what hey?" 💜
😂😂😂😂
"Not your mother's hole," don't hear that every day!😂😂😂😂😂 I choked on my breakfast, laughing my ass off! Best way to start any day is with laughter. Thank you, Tara.
😄😄 i had just taken a drink of my coffee and ended up spraying the room and myself and I nearly choked lmfao
That had me howling. Scared the cats out of the room.
Crows sit on the side of the road with other flocks of birds waiting for one to get hit. They are super intelligent and there’s a reason a group are called a murder.
I was watching an American ‘cower’ and apparently cows will designate a ‘babysitter cow’ to mind the calves while others go get food.
We used to call the "auntie cows" but it's the same thing.
Tara is sick. How she keeps going is commendable.
Typo knows and is doing extra duty to keep the farm running.
Typo’s legs are exhausted from carrying the farm on her back
@@TaraFarms😂🤣
My neighbour is a sheep farmer here in Canada.
She finds a dead crow or other black bird and hangs it. (Lots of roadkill here)
No other crows will come where she hangs it. If they see it or perhaps smell it. It keeps them out of the garden too.
Regarding that commenter on crows, being intelligent does not negate or ensure evil.
Just a reminder that the people in this world who supply the food for the rest of us city types don't get all the sick days we do. Thanks for all your hard work, Tara. Glad you are feeling better. 🤒💊🐏🐏🐑🐑👩🌾👍👍
Worst grazers I ever experienced in person were the goats my friend borrowed off a neighbor. They didn't stop at the weeds he wanted gone in his back yard. They chewed bark off his trees and nibbled a bit on the house siding. 😮🐐
The few things I know about cows is idiot city boys would raid a pasture and tip them over at night. 🤦♂That, and it is their burps during rumination (chewing), not their farts that release methane. Some people were researching transferring gut bacteria from 🦘kangaroos to cows 🐮because kangaroos eat grass, but their digestive bacteria don't produce methane.
Goats are menaces! They eat everything and anything!
Horses can also be pretty destructive; given the option they, like goats seem to prefer browsing to grazing . My Brother in law has 3 or 4 three acres on the back of his house in the far north of England. He took on a retired Clydesdale carthorse( George) of 17 hands. George keeps the hedges trimmed back up to about, 3-3.5 metres while the couple of rams he accommodates for a neighboring farmer during their 'off season' look after the ground level vegetation
you're telling the cow to move but she thinks you're just trying to get past her. "oh you wanna get through the gate? don't mind me miss i'll just step aside here. oh what's that you want to get through here actually? well i'll just move again. you're a strange one."
Now you need a cattle dog - a beautiful, energetic, courageous, and stubborn as hell red or blue heeler would complete the family.
Downside: Bloody hard work!
Upside: No a lot of traffic going to work!
Poor girl ,the flu is t fun but working like you do oy vey. I’ve worked in an office all my life and the flu indoors is hard . Thanks for your effort in veiling sweety ,feel better soon. Typo you’re becoming a legend ,2 legged mumma is a great teacher lol xoxo
Thank you, and I'm much better this week!
@@TaraFarms that’s great sweety xox
"She's hungry for souls" 😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you for validating my opinion that cows are gross! Whenever I see a video with a cow in it people keep gushing about how cute it is.
Meanwhile the cow in frame is leaking from both ends and is halfway stuck in a steel fence.
Cows shake their heads and slime flies in 370 degrees (it's wrong, it's intentional)
I remember the cows on our farm being ornery shits. Hard to get moving and would try to pin you against a fence. Bloody hard to shift if you're a kid who only weighs about 35 kilos. Mind you they only tried it with me a couple of times because when they did the bull would come and shove them away. We had nasty cows but the bulls were real sweeties who were for some reason quite protective of me.
I am actually one of the people that think they are cute,I love cows when I meet them in passing but I wouldn't wanna work with them because I know they are little shits 😂😂
My cows are very pleasant and sensible Dexters. In my experience sheep are idjits and goats are the sweet imps of the devil
Cows can be cute… as long as you’re out of range of the slobber. But damn, I never complained about St Bernard’s again, after spending a week with cattle.
Tara, so sorry you are unwell and trying to film for us. You're such a trouper. Yet you still have your sense of humour and treat your subject just as seriously. Hope you got to head under the doona (duvet) soon after with some lemon and honey and a good audiobook. Thank you so much. And hooray for the rain. Do let us know how many inches.
Hope you’re feeling better already.
Propane bird cannon would be great for controlling the crows!
22 mag
I did not know that was a thing it looks like a t-shirt cannon 😂
@TaraFarms omg pls get a tshirt cannon to launch in direction of crows but fill it with...used/damaged wool socks? #helpingnothelping
@@TaraFarms What would you think of the idea of putting a Gopro on one of the sheep and one on a Ram, Wow that would make a great video! Hoping You and Liam are safe. Larry, US.
@@Ka9radio_Mobile9that wouldnt be on youtube
I'm glad to see you and Typo back and both feeling . I was reviewing your vblogs on your vacation in Paris and London in the meanwhile. Your farming life is full and sharing it with me, us is truly appreciated.
Thanks for all of this one! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!
Thank God the rain has started. I hope you're feeling better Tara. Hugs to the "Slug".🥰
So glad you’re getting the rain🎉
Yay it's Slugday 😁
Sus skibidi
5:05 😂😂😂 thanks for that.. im now wearing my coffee 😂😂😂
Calves don't always stay right by their moms at all times. Btw, there is usually one cow that will babysit all the calves while the moms and other cows go off to eat.
Cows, they are smart enough to leave a cow as a babysitter. One looks after the children while the rest go graze. Hopefully the same girl isn’t left back with the kiddos all the time as she needs nourishment too especially if she has twins.
Slug is the goodest girl.
Fell Better Soon Tara!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Typo’s tongue matches her coat❤😂
She’s ✨fabulous✨
I love the sound of sheep hooves on the wood floors in the shed.
I hope you're feeling better soon Tara! ❤
Mom cow sometimes leave their babies with other cows to have a brake. They don't steal, they have nannies
Tara don't worry what anyone else you be you I love your view and attitude on things your cool as shit you go girl
I hope you feel better soon. Being sick sucks especially when you have to work outside in that weather. ❤
Ah the cows. I'm getting flashbacks to my graduate research. We had to drive through a cattle rancher's field to get to a study site, and the cows liked to chill in the way of our route. There wasn't a road to follow, just a general route, and they liked to hang out in the way. They were certainly scary for how big they were. We were collecting water samples from a small estuary, but the only access was through that field.
Cows are too big for their own good! They have the brains of sheep but the size of a horse!
@TaraFarms my folks are from Montana and they've told me that cattle ranchers there have to keep horses with the cows in the winter because the cows are too stupid to break ice to get a drink, but the horse will do it and then the cows will drink. They're dangerous and dumb animals.
"The calf's an idiot!" 😂😂😂
Not gonna lie, I love Typo! Way to go Girlie
Thanks for the videos... Interesting to see how different sheep farmers deal with sheep. Super excited about the possibility of chickens appearing in your videos on occasion. :)
That shot of the mum with her lambs at 8:31 is very aesthetically pleasing.
Please be careful around the cows until you’re used to them! :)
Cows are like GIANT slow dogs, with a terrifying kicking range. And very wet noses. Soooo congratulations on your new perpetually-damp giant kicky-dogs? 🤷♀️
In all seriousness tho, feel better soon!! Flu suuuucks.
You and Liam are so cute together! Love your blogs! Would be fun to see you both go farm shopping together 😂 I have no idea if you all go buy stuff for the farm but that would be interesting!
I buy random stuff for sheep, we’re going to the kelpie muster this weekend together going to film for a members video probably 😊
Thanks for the video. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you so much!! I'm much better now!
And that's rams nuts.... HAHAHA
Yeesh you got worse and worse out there, feel better!!!
Ah to be typo with her jacket! So cute watching her run around!!! I’m also totally here for the Tara/Cow beef! Honestly so surprised you had that much patience there! Great Timelapse where you title IXed the sheep lol
Hope we have a “not a bad time for Tara” video next week!
I imagine it's Fall down there. Rain is so sweet. Air smells great things grow and the s**t and dirt gets knocked off the vehicles. Slug looking happy, hope you get well soon. 🐑😊
Pretty much into winter now, yep.
Tara, thanks for the entertainment today. Feel better soon. ❤ for typo.
You sound so unwell, I'm sorry, hope you feel better soon x
Always good video.
Always get a laugh
Good morning Tara, sorry you are sick , you sound miserable. Good video as always. Crows, yep, they are really smart, which makes them even more of a pain in the ass. Maybe you should try shearing those new big black sheep you got.😂😂😂
Thanks but I enjoy my limbs being attached to my body! 😂
I hope you are feeling better. Moms and farmers have to keep working even when sick.
Awesome. My father was from the highlands in Scotland & used to breed Angus. Good times 👌
My dad was from the bush and bred kids he said it HARD work
Feel better soon!!!
Hope you feel better soon Tara 🤗 and you are right Cattle don't have twins very often when they do it a surprise and you need to make sure the Mom has enough milk my Father has Black Angus Cattle in Arizona in the United States.
Excellent! So glad you're feeling better.
Awesome effort getting thru your day when u feel like shit 😊
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!
Hope you get to feeling better 💐💐🌻🌻!! My grandsons started getting sick literally 2 days after school let out for summer break .. Sad because it hits one then 2 or 3 days later it hits the next, for some reason they think when they are sick they need to climb in my bed & sleep with me 🤔 dont get me wrong Neenee loves them, but i dont want it lol I dont have the heart to tell them to go back upstairs to their room though, so knock on wood I dont catch it.
I swear children are walking Petrie dishes for colds and disease! 😂 Always doing the open mouth cough somewhere
@@TaraFarms well literally last night at dinner the youngest had to be woken up to eat, now he's sick. LoL he's the last kid in the house to get it now.. His dad was sick with it. Couple of days ago. Hopefully it's the end now lol 😂 This is why I let my kids eat dirt and play in the mud, builds up their immune system. Kids " most not all" now days can't be without a game 🎮 or some type of electronic lol only immune thing they are building is how to be sick & spoiled & entitled.
Cows are ok they are just stubborn my family raise cattle and they are ok but human contact is big with some because when me and my dad were feeding a calf that was my uncle’s because the mom wouldn’t feed it, the mom snuck up behind me and pushed me to the ground slid her head on my leg and pushed me around like a ball 😂 good luck with your cattle
It's just snot fun when the words and stuff are hard but that's what we do when we gotta do the stuff that's gotta be done!! Farm life and lovin' it!! Typo tthe paddock boss today!!! Great job girl.
So interesting to watch. Love Slug!
Dairy cows are so different to move than beef cows. They are usually a little less maternal and aren't as likely to f**k you up, though if you bring a dog with you, that can make things fun.
I've been told always stand with the calf between you and mum cause then she won't charge you (yeah some mum's still will).
I put on my best "mum" voice and just be quite stern and confident with them, and usually they will move.
But dairy cows are always slow, and away with the fairies, they are permanently on a whole other planet.
My cows at home are all trained to come when I call them, because it just makes life easier. My dairy calves however have not cottoned on to this and still need pressure on them to move them anywhere (stock rattle works well).
Great video as always. You have me laughing much of the video. Feel better soon.
love the variety in this one! also fun music :D
Give The Slug what she desires. Feed her souls! *cuz she's a good girl*😅
Sorry you feel like shit. You still delivered the laughs and entertainment. Heal quickly ❣️
Hope you feel better soon Tara x
Feel better Tara. You're a bloomin champ for pushing through that flu
Sheep goes through the doors the same way Sweds to it in the subway.....EVERYBODY AT ONCE!!!!
Such a cute sheep-cow 😂😍 looking forward to see your chooks. I used to have lots and miss them bad🙈
Feel better soon
about the lamb leaving the warming bag problem, you could get a small crate or large dog carrier and put the warming bag with the lamb in it in the crate or carrier (literally just a cheap kmart one) and that way there isnt any room for the sheep to leave the bag and get cold
Love watching typo do her thing
Idk I like cows more than sheep personally. They’re so goofy and cute. We all have our fave and least fave ruminants. 😂😂😂😂
But they don’t move! 😂
@@TaraFarms they move people just get very scared cause they don’t wanna get squashed
Take it easy and heal up. Illness is the worst. It is the little cold that will get us in the end.
You are my favorite person that I don't know
Cows like yeah make me lol
Feel better soon Love ❤️
😂😂 when you say f*ckn pests about the crows it makes me think I'm listening to your dad 😂😂 love it
Slug is “hungry for souls” 😂😂😂 that was funny. You have a creative mind
Get well soon
I love some cows. They can be very smart too but also can be asses especially when it comes to protecting their babies.
Feel better!
Cows are typically herded on horsback. Horse or a quadrunner if you wanna work with cows. I have no idea why but thats how they do it on most cattle ranches. Just when yah thought you had enough shit to do. Maybe the quadrunner then if that doesnt get the raid runnen your gonna have to try the horseback method borrow one to give er a try.
Hope your feeling better 💕
An old wives' tale says that bad things happen in 3. Hopefully next week is better for you!
i'm cows #1 fan
Someone's gotta like em
“Full disclosure; I’ve got no idea what the Fck I’m doing.” 🤣♥️
Typo and her coat of armor
She always does better with her coat on 😂
I love your content and your accent
sad to see you sick, get better, I thought I was supposed to comment or typo would eat my soul
I reckon if you have a metal painting of a ram lamb near the gate they might come ??
I hope you feel better. I love you and Typo in matching outfits! Too cute. FYI..cows can have twins. Sandi’s friend Belinda raises cattle. She also has a RUclips channel. On one of her videos she helped calf a set a twins.
It looks so dark and gloomy.... I love it. Lol
The world was reflecting how I felt 😂
Love you videos 🎉 Sorry you're feeling bad. Hope you are back too 100% soon.
Day this aired I also had Influenza A. . . while on vacation in Alaska. Coma'd for a day and went back on enjoying the biggest state in the US.
Get well soon Tara.
It's "He-Yah" I think lol not "Pew Pew" 😂 I'm dying laughing‼️ I hope you start feeling better soon & I'm with you, Crows suck‼️
Tip for moving cows (especially calves), flap your arms every once and a while. If your holding an empty sack works even better. 🐄
Nice one Tara 🐑🐑
