The amount of farmers I know that just blurt things out because they are just used to talking to themselves all day and saying what EVER is on their mind is not overly represented in this crop of young farmers.

Love you you are just the bestest ever ever!!! Not a farmer or rancher per say but I grew up with livestock and nowhere, I know where my meat comes from and I've had to help cull it. Life's hard, but there's deep understanding when you have to face the fragility and difficulty of life. I laugh at the romanticism of "self sustained off the grid living" but I do believe know how to do a bit of everything allows for a richer and mire appreciative life.
What I find absolutely jaw dropping is how out of touch the whole set up is, I'm not saying they can't dress nice or go in nice dates- but I have to question there take on reality bc even if you had the opportunity to run the a field or strawberries in a cute dress, thats like one hour, the reality do you know how to weed, preserve, can and organize. And I just don't think they're really grasping the reality that marrying a farmer is. Again absolutely think its possible, I mean of given the opportunity I would buy some land and live to a degree I was raised in- my husband has enjoyed visiting my dad's land and he's even enjoyed helping us with the mucking pig pen. However one small visits are not indicative of the reality it is. Kinda like when I moved to Long Beach California- California on tv looks rich very um extreme surgery and maybe for the less than 1% it is. However you the reality is anything but.

Whelp I found a new thing to watch, you ripping on Dating shows.
I can't stand this show in sweden. The type of people that want to date the farmers are city folks that never going to get the work. They think it's a romatic idea to live on the farm walking hand in hand all day around. And then they start to cry how the farmer never have time for them or can go away for trips and whatever. Sure not want to work on the farm one thing. Just help some sometimes sure. But the thougth they allways have tons of time outside the farm is hilarius. They can't go out for dinner in the city several times a week and do weekends trips and go out of the country skiing or to the sun a few times a year.
