Stupid climate change meant I have had to mow the lawn once, but snow is forecast for later in the week, so I can understand you complaining about the temperature.

I'm from Alaska so sometimes I forget that I need sunscreen too, but I've had sun blisters on my face from the light reflecting off the snow. We can't win against the sun, no matter where we come from!
First of all, very jealous and would love to experience Alaska. Snow is something a lot of people in Australia need don't think about getting burnt by, but you can get burnt off the sand on some of our beaches here because of the reflection.
@@TaraFarmsWhen I was living in Colorado, I needed to put extra on because of the altitude of 1500 meters and higher. The thinner atmosphere let more light through. I needed a few months to acclimate to the reduced oxygen in the air too.
I don't remember anyone mentioning sun reflection when I was in the Oregon High Desert several times. No sand dunes like there are on the Oregon Coast - at least none I ever saw in the middle northern part of the state.
I had never thought of that but it stands to reason because when you are at the beach in Australia the heat intensifies as it bounces off the waves and sand.

I really like your hair , you're right whenever it starts knotting it's time to cut or trim. Typo gets too excited to stop, he looks at you like but they are moving I've got to get behind them!!! He's so cute ! And he's like on a trampoline didn't think a dog could jump that high especially from a stand still. Love your channel ❤️
Thank you :) was a big change for me! It's very important to learn how to read your dog so you can get the most out of them and understand how they think! They have competitions here for dog jumping, mostly kelpies in them. I think there's videos on it on youtube if you wanted have a look
did you ever stop to consider that Typo is marvelous and perhaps the most marvelous of all marvelous dogs? to summarize, Typo has large amounts of marvelosity and other shit like that.
I'd give her a 9/10 she doesn't back sheep which is what would give her that extra point. We're working on it but it's seems to be something they either do or don't.
As much as Typo likes an air conditioned car I think she equally enjoys a run. Thank you for explaining your training techniques with Typo. She is a very good, smart and kind pup.

I had a Kelpie (Trigger). He was just a pet, so no training. But we would stick him over at the neighbor's when he needed his goats brought in. Took a while since Trigger would just move them around wherever, but he'd eventually end up with them in the desired location. He would also go through the fence on his own just to move them around for fun, but fortunately the neighbor didn't mind; he never really worried them, just walked them around. I loved that dog.

Tryin out a new recipe for apple butterscotch rolls I found online, they seem to be like cinnamon rolls but with a sweet apple cinnamon filling. They smell fucking amazing but we'll see if they taste as good in the morning.
Otherwise my go-tos are cinnamon rolls (Look up the perfect pillowy cinnamon rolls from King Arthur Flour, they will change your life) and cookies- snickerdoodles are the family fave, but I also like frosted sugar cookies. Also like to dabble in fancy cake decorating when I can feel assed to nuke the kitchen for a day to make 1(one) pretty cake.
I also learned how to make braindead simple bread which is So Fuckin Good fresh

I've had several of those in my socks over the years and they just start trying to wedge themselves into my ankles or feet. It helps if you have hands and can reach them before they get under your skin. 😮
Yes unfortunately for Typo she'll never grow thumbs to be able to get grass seeds out so now I compulsively check over her daily to make sure we don't have another 'incident'.

Yesterday we got a new high temp record here in Central Kansas. 81° Fahrenheit at 3pm. Then the wind came up we had 8+ extreme fire danger. And by 10pm we were at 11° Fahrenheit with the wind chill factor.

Worse sunburn I ever had was when I sat under an umbrella poolside in Vanuatu, I was fully shaded, the sun reflected off the pool onto my belly under the table, painful bellyburn! Good holiday though, I went to a BBQ where they had a full bullock on a spit! I ate until I could barely waddle. what’s better than BBQ beef with tropical fruits and good people and a cold beer?

Good on you for promoting sunscreen. I’m an old aussie reared on a sheep farm who now gets skin cancers cut off my face because we didn’t do sunscreen or even hats back in the 60’s and 70s. And I am embarrassed to say I didn’t know the difference between chemical and mineral sunscreen. Am switching to invisable zinc immediately. Thank you for educating people and I hope they bloody sponsor you.

If it's a total fire ban we cannot go in paddocks, every other day it's fair game. I only know about the different sunscreens because I went down a rabbit hole when looking for reef-safe options and found that the mineral one was better for sensitive skin.

Sunscreen is very exciting. I moved from Seattle to Phoenix USA and had to get serious about sunscreen. My current favorite is actually an Australian sunscreen. I may have to get one of those hats like yours too.
