Your're presenting the same question im asking myself. I'm on an i5 9600k, so I either go up to a 9900k, or go for a Zen 3 amd x570. This in adition to having my eye on a 3090 (or a 3080 TI 20 gbs when/if it comes out). Thoughts? PS I you dont lile that mobo I can take it off your hands a you save me some money, lol. Your putting lots of content, keep it coming!
I have a MSI X570 Unify, and I'm totally happy with it. It has all the cool things I like. Such as 3 M.2 slots, a clear CMOS button in the I/O, a post code, and no RGB. I paired it up with a Ryzen 7 3800X, and a 5700XT. Both are water cooled via a custom loop. I'm also have 32GB of DDR4 Ram running at 3733 MHz CL 14. For storage I have a 1TB Gen4 M.2 for a boot drive, and two 2tb Gen3 M.2's. It's all housed in a Thermaltake Level 20 HT full tower case. Does the Godlike have a post code? I didn't see one anywhere in your video. It seems odd then wouldn't have one on such an expensive mobo.
Looking at parts for my build at the moment. Starting from scratch. AMD 3950 will probably be the chip, mainly because the intel chips don't support PCIe 4.
man, you are one of my new favorite RUclipsr in general. Im personally not into the whole RUclips personality thing, im jus here for morrowind uploads of on my page lol. I came across your page a few weeks ago randomly, anyway you are insightful, informative, and most of all genuine. I see you becoming a big hit on here. Thanks for taking the time to making these videos sir.
I'm far from an expert. If I just wanted 2 2TB M.2 drives, 1 GPU, and 4 sticks of 8GB RAM, trying to get that ram to 4000mhz, do you think I'll have any problems with this motherboard?
Is set to that price because of how powerful it is, sorry it's not pimped out to your standards and flashy. It's not meant to be flashy, it's built for power.
So which one is the best one for 4k HDR 60fps gaming and rendering? I also want to do deepfaking like Tacotron 2. Definitely will get an X570... just don't know which one. Lol. Still trying to chew this stuff.
I went with the MSI x570 meg ace with my 3700x 32gb gskill trident z royal CL16 3600mhz and my 1080ti gonna throw in a 3080 when available and maybe a 3950x down the road dragon center basically broke my pwm controll for fans it sucks no joke but I love this board
Alternate perspective--This board is very well built. This guy is easily fooled by a backplate on the Asus motherboard that actually causes more heat than it dissipates. He falls for the oldest trick in the book...it's heavier so it must be better. Come on. And this board is a great value as well.. When you factor in the 10GB pci express card plus the dual m.2 price express card that comes packaged with it, that's at least a $200 value putting it on part with the Asus Crosshair Formula board and less than the Gigabyte Aurous Elite.
My experience with the halo msi boards as of late is that they are a compilation of marketing speak with rocky execution and even worse support. I stay away from msi boards ovr $350.
Im ready to complete my RIG with the AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, BUTTT I need to add 4 gpu cards( I dont need SLI), my bigest concern is that I cant find a motherboard with 4 capable slots for gpu cards, any recommendation!??
brain fog dude...take some time to breathe and let much of the great info you have sink in...it's like you have a stop watch timing how quickly you can get this done..
What motherboard are you planning to use? Remember to subscribe and thumbs up as well!

I really have no idea! I want something that looks nice, AMD, 3900 or 3950x, with a 30 series card hopefully.
I’m set with my asus crosshairs 8 formula & my Maximus xii extreme

nice review
Thanks!

I just bought this today! I returned the CrossHair Hero viii and picked this up!
How do you like it? What gpu and cpu did you pair it up with
@@TypeRking76 I paired it with a 3090 GeForce RTX, 9 5900x that’s my gaming pc, then I build an exact replica but instead of the 3090 I put a 3080

Why do you not have any benhcmarks?

Haven't built an AMD build since the Athlon 64 days... 3950x looks sweet though! If I needed a video rendering rig, AMD would be my first choice :D
It’s amazing for sure! What are you using now?
@@ClassicalTechnology 10900K and Z490 Apex
I want a x570 and here asus formula is a little more Expensive than the msi godlike .
considering msi has more m.2 I wonder which one to buy?
is there a way to update bios for X570 MSI Godlike motherboard without cpu

Is it worth it using an ASUS TUF X570 motherboard with a Ryzen 7 3700X ??? I'm looking to game and stream at the same time.
Sure, that is a good motherboard. Remember to subscribe as well!

That’s a tough one, I’m using the MSI godlike but it’s not really able to run 4 GPUs
@@ClassicalTechnology TNHKS for ur time.
does i have a 3pin 5v argb header??
What if I have the MSI MEG Z390? You think I’ll be okay putting a 3080 in it? Also have an i9 9900K, 64 GB DDR4 3600mhz ram, 2 970 M.2 PRO. 1000W
It’ll be fantastic with that card.
Men the maximus is the same price
I disagree on your opinion of looks
