CSGO Pro players would run this setup and still play at 800x600 on low settings
but that 3 fps improvement is reaaaaally worth it.

Linux also has a variation of blue screen from overclock. I believe it was Kernel Panic? But yes, it does fuck itself over from unstable OC.
For macOS, it simply doesn't boot. I tried it with hackintosh.

Hey Jay, it's Grzesiu from the 3DMark leader boards. The reason you fell behind in FS is due to your CPUs Mesh frequency being so low. That has a direct effect on your Graphics score.

Agreed i run 3200 mesh and my ram is 3800 cs16 and 4.9 might be slower than 4.8 due to power draw of that chip. Per core overclock and 5ghz may work for 6 cores, with the rest at 4.7 for certain benchmarks. Have fun wirh hours of tweaking.

@@xpodx 8k is a lot more than 4k, 4k is only 8 mega pixels, 8k is 40 40 mega pixels. we are close to 8k 30 fps.
This would spit out about 20fps max in 8k. Someone should test it with the Dell Monitor.

I'm tired of upgrading my monitor so like I vote we should go towards more super sampling/ more AA honestly dont see much difference between 1440p and 4k regret. Oh wait yes I do a lower framerate for some slightly better looking colors fantastic.
More pixels so less screen door effect, it is sharper and you don't really need AA at 4k, and at 8k I think AA will die. Were talking 33 million pixels at this point!

Happened with my 1080 Ti in SLI. Some high profile games take advantage of the multiple GPUs but over all it's not worth it unless you want ultra high settings at a large widescreen resolution or 4K.

Apparently there is rgb control on it and inside. There just set to green . Waiting for someone to mod it and make it usable again. (Not sure) but seen it on a video a hour or so back they took it apart and showed it had it but was turned off or locked out. I dunno.

RGB is so you DON'T need to care about lights, just set it to blue and forget about it.
Now if suddenly, for example a GPU appeared, that had only GREEN leds, that would completely ruin the look of my system and i would not buy a GPU like that for that reason alone, not as long as there are other options.

Stressed cards get hot. So if you want your cards to stay quiet and not go to full fan speed, simply construct the JayzChiller2.0 then plug in a room AC unit. The card fans will be whisper quiet with this upgrade. And do not worry about that jet engine AC unit sitting behind you. After a couple weeks of use, your body will naturally stop being able to hear that frequency of noise any more... LOL.
I'm more impressed with the deep pockets of the person that's running the gv100's... Cause that's alot of bread for some gpu's...

Galf506 in Canada I was seeing them retail at $1200 apiece. Lowest I saw was $900 apiece. The overkill RGB AMP ones could probably run you $1500 per card.
Prices will naturally slowly drop but for now they’re definitely up there. I doubt most average folks will be dropping the cash for them right now, never mind getting two for SLI.

Put the screws back in their holes in the removed item, put masking tape over the screw holes and write "warranty void if removed" on the tape just to keep it in genre.

Uh, isn't Shadow of the Tomb Raider simply using DX12 mGPU? Rise of the Tomb Raider did and also scaled incredibly well, nothing to do with SLI/NVLINK.

I got two 2080 Ti's. Preordered the first and it was pretty underwhelming out of the box. A nice BIOS flash to 380w brought it to life. But my second one was good, both FE's btw. With EK blocks. The new one does 2145 MHz and 16.5 GHz VRAM. A great example. Paired with 7700K @5.1 GHz does 15,500 roughly Fire Strike Ultra.

I'd like to see 1080 Ti SLI vs 2080 SLI to see if NVLink has any benefits right now. There are more advanced NVLink features that won't be implemented for possibly months, but it'll be interesting nonetheless.

@@maj429 I think you misunderstood, he wants the 1080 ti SLI to be compared to the 2080 SLI, not the 2080 ti SLI. The 2080 has comparable single card performance to the 1080 ti, which means the comparison will give a more accurate picture of NV Link vs SLI Bridge performance difference.

Physically not possible with NV Link. There's only one NV Link connector on the cards.
