- In the town of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Sequoyah County Sherrif's Office Deputy Christian Goode is stabbed by wanted sex-offender Phillip Trammell as officers visit Tramell's home to serve an asset warrant. Hiding under a pile of clothes Trammell surprises the officers, threatening them with a knife and resulting in deadly consequences.

As someone who live in an area with high knife crime what I've been taught is
Firstly if the knife is still stuck in you leave it alone and whatever you do don't pull it out
Secondly if the knife is not still in the person apply pressure asap
Thirdly if you are to get stabbed in an arm or leg like the officer in this video raise it above heart level, this should make it bleed less

Yeah, but so what? That guy had probably been arrested and released in the past. Why should this encounter be any different? In her mind, she's going to see him again down the line at some point. I’m from the UK and usually I disagree with how most US Police Officers handle situations, however on this occasion they did everything right, pulled a less lethal weapon first, deployed taser then the man produced a knife and attempted to kill a police officer an he was shot dead, besides he was a sex offender so it would be justified either way; I think that was fare play if you ask me🤷♀️

He didn’t freeze, he reacted correctly in this situation, grabbed his taser which fails to deploy and if he drew his gun he risked immediate crossfire with his fellow officers and it could’ve went even worse, use that tiny little peanut brain and break down these situations.

In the uk 🇬🇧 we would have had a few more police officers with a lot more control like no offence pretending you’re in a spy movie and signal into each other from a distance trying to sweep in on the suspect is it gonna make you more heroic at the end of the day someone got hurt hear what you need to have is a team of people that can take down a suspect without anyone getting hurt including the suspect you can hear there are animals on the property you can see that it’s a single house so he has a lot of places to come from why do you have two offices on the scene why don’t you have at least 8 to 10 officers
