Thanks for sharing ! Interesting ! It seems to be more sturdy this way and a lot thicker, as opposed to doing it only with the u-wraps and/or e-wraps. It should also take more yarn with this present method i suppose, so i would like to know, is this a very sturdy project ?? It is worth it to put a bit more effort and time if it makes the socks last longer. it's probably great to use as slippers in the house ?? (To walk without shoes on) What do you think ?
🙂Hi thanks for your comment. In my opinion using 2 strands of yarn together with the garter stitch makes the socks really warm, these are literally the warmest socks I own. Yes, the socks are very sturdy. The socks are great to use as slippers. 🙂

Hi thanks for your comment. I cannot tell you, how much yarn I have used exactly, because I used yarn leftovers but I would say something between 400 meters and 600 meters. 🙂
