In this video I show you how to knit a scarf using a 24 peg loom. I also show you how to remove a scarf from the loom. I am not a "teacher" but I did my best. :)
Wow I’m trying this for this first time & I’m loving doing this new craft! I can’t wait to finish this first scarf I’ve started with your guidance! Thanks so much & you have explained it and showed how to do it so clearly. ❤❤❤
Great video thanks. Lots of new ideas. I started a scarf two nights ago. Got 32 inched done and am delighted with that. Last night I did a wooly cap from start to finish on the round loom, a nice green for Saint Patrick's day. I thrilled and looking forward to finishing the scarf next week. I want to do a brown cap tonight. It will match the scarf. I never knit a stitch before this week. And have always want to knit. Earlier in the week I tried with needles, it was a total disaster. I think my casting on was the problem. I'll try them again in a few weeks. I am amazed how fast one can produce a finished garment using these looms.
Expertly done ✔️ I just bought one of these loops and didn't know how to use it for a scarf. You've been fabulous going thru all of this task slowly, especially to a novice like me. Thanks a million 💕👍
Thank you for the clear instruction. I just learned how to make Beanie Hats and got "hooked" on working on the loom. Can't wait to get started on a shawl. Love your color combinations :)
Thank you for your patience of doing this video, you explain every step, so many videos they show you the first few steps then show it completed! And you've included when they came off .🐾💜
Perfect! Your video was just what I needed to get started with these looms - simple and straightforward. And just the right pace. No extra backround noises, etc. I LOVE how the scaves look on these looms! Thank you so very much--you did a wonderful job!
Your video is so much more helpful than the other person's video. I just bought one of these and the other video I watched had me so frustrated I was ready to return my loom and say forget it. Thank you for going slow and explaining it fully.
Thank you! Your video was the easiest to follow and understand. I followed along and made a scarf with you. My yarn was very soft and I used only one strand, so my scarf came out loose, but nice. I am so happy you helped me be successful on my first attempt at making a long loom scarf. THANK YOU!!
Thank you! Well explained! Enough info from start t finish! Like that you also showed doubling up strands and different textures n colour effects via gradient dyed wool.
I used to be a very patient person, but due to circumstances and the ppl I was surrounded by my patience and tolerance for many things went down.. so this year I’ve decided to take up a hobby that requires patience.. this is my second attempt and so far it’s been good, I can’t wait for the finish ..thank you for this :)
Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us. I’m going to buy me the things I need to get started. I’m 75 and crippled by RA at Osteo arthritis. Just give me something to do.
Very explicit video. Thank you! Wish I had seen it years ago!! After you get your 2nd layer on there, when you begin the work. if you would knit off the LAST peg 1st... you wouldn't have to hold that while you're doing the other side. I usually turn it around and do the far side 1st just because I do that last one FIRST.....it works great! I will recommend that my beginning knitters watch your video if they want to start using the long Loom.
I had a lot of fun working on this project the pattern I have been following for years never looked the way I wanted it to but now I have another type of pattern that I love 😊
I've never done this before but I've just followed your tutorial and I've made a scarf. Thank you so much for your easy to follow guide xx so excited to do more now xx 😁
I am a knitter from decades ago, before the loom method, that learned with long thin knitting needles (I will have them). My daughter in law learned on loom. She had been trying to have me try the loom. This tutorial was very easy to understand. I will give it try. Thanks for the instructions. I will have to hold judgement about which method is quicker. I am still learning towards the needles though. 😂. Hope your mom likes her scarf. ☺️
Thank you very much for making this helpful video. You defined very well neither too slow nor too fast. I tried following your guidance and succeded in making a small scarf of one foot length😂
Thank you so much for going slow and explaining each step. I find it very helpful. Will post pictures of the first one I've ever made. Thank you for the great video. 😊 Kc
I have been looming for a long time but never used this shape I love the way you detail your teaching a person can skip ahead and everything was easy to see. Also teach art so I think you did a wonderful job.
You did an excellent video! I have done several hats but I wanted scarves to match I tried reading the instructions and was sooo confused. Then I found your video and I was able to make the first scarf with no problem. You went at a pace that wasn’t too slow or too fast. And I am like you I will put a couple knots in! ❤❤❤
Thank you very much for your video. I received this structure today. So maybe I can finally knit. You explain it nicely, step by step. I subscribed to watch your other videos.
Thank you SO MUCH! I just got my long looms back after having them in storage at my mom's for several years, and I had completely forgotten what to do. I was using the green Knifty Knitter loom (momma could only find the two longer ones), so I'll be making a few panels and stitching them together to make myself a nice blanket for my lap for the winter. Just finished my first one!
Thank You YOU DID A GREAT JOB IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. [ have round looms and have no problems but on this rectangle one I just couldn't figure how in the heck to take it the loom. Thanks again .
I have just spent the last hour watching videos to learn how to bind off double knitting on a circular loom. Yours is by far the best I have seen for clarity on how you bind off. I need something that is a bit stretchier because it's a circular cowl on the new Kb loom. Not great instructions with the loom. You explained it so well, your whole video was excellent. I'm thrilled, thank you! Great video.
Thank you so much for this 9 year old tutorial! I was having a (big)problem with casting on the end pegs and having two loops instead of just one! No other video so far had explained that- it’s going to make all the difference as I start my project for the 4th time! 🧶
Thank you for doing this the way you did and the pace you did I do not know how old your mom is but I am in my 60s and still trying to learn new ways to knit that might be easier on my hands since I have arthritis in my hands and I am hoping this loom knitting could be the one I am looking for. So far your way of showing how this works looks like I can do this with a fairly good amount of comfort. I am sure I will be back to watch again once I get my supplies so I can start at this nice pace. Thank you again.
I am so glad I was able to watch you work this loom. I never could figure out how to actually start. Thank you for showing each detail of working the yarn on the pegs. I have to actually see how it is done and hear how it is done before understanding the written how it is done.So this worked out great for me. Thank you. You have a relaxing voice also, (smile), so it was easy to absorb the knowledge.
I’m so glad you made because I got a loom from Temu and it came with no instructions of course. I have round looms I’ve used to make hats but I couldn’t figure this one out❤
Your video was so clear and concise! This is the first time I've been able to understand Loom knitting and I'm excited about the things I can make. Thank you for this instruction! Without your help I think I would have given up in the beginning. You have such a kind and gentle voice and your manner is very down to earth. You made my day!!
Hi thank you for the video I have had my looms hanging around but watching you I have got them Out and I am making a scarf I'm thinking of doing hats and scarves for the homeless charity's so thanks again Teresa.
I have been wanting to try loom knitting so this tutorial comes at the perfect time! I'll head to Michaels this weekend with a coupon to get supplies!!
thank you soooooooooo much. i've been wanting to learn how to do this. you made it so easy to understand cuz you went slow and described it to where i can understand. now to go buy me this loom your awesome and i'm glad debi y mentioned you and i found you
Just watched your video. It was very helpful. You do an excellent teaching, didn't know how to begin, I enjoyed it very much. Thank you. The pace at how you worked was wonderful. Keep up the good work for us that need the help.
I usually knit ovrt starting wuth the last stitch I did thus eliminating the need to anchor it. I also take my beginning end off the anchor after a row or two and lay it in the middle section between the peg rows and just do my figure eights over the top of it. It makes it invisible. I love the Michael Martin Murphey "Wildfire" ring tone on your phone. Very good video. I hope it worked for your Mom.
Thank you Angie for being so precise, calming voice & slow with this tutorial. Perfect. I'm in my 60's & love yarn & being crafty but coping with arthritis is a real pain...literally. It's now 2019 & your vid is still being viewed so letting you know you are still appreciated. G_d Bless you.
I live in a senior community and I’ve been teaching the ladies here how to use a loom. They love it.
I'm 59 year old white male got back trouble now, and I certainly appreciate your video and it is started me off on a new hobby
I'm glad to hear it helped you with a new hobby. 😀
Thanks you God bless you

Tankyuo for your help I really need.
This was the most comprehensive tutorial I've seen on this subject, thank you
You are by far the most clearest in your instructions when it came to this, so thank you so so much !! I can’t wait to make scarfs with this 😊❤
Thank you. Your instructions were great. I love your colors. I need to learn to bind off
Thank you so much! You explained it better than anyone!
Wow I’m trying this for this first time & I’m loving doing this new craft! I can’t wait to finish this first scarf I’ve started with your guidance! Thanks so much & you have explained it and showed how to do it so clearly. ❤❤❤

Thank you so much. You explained so much in the beginning that other videos didn’t. I really appreciate it!!! Bless you and your mom.
Thank you for the clear instruction. I just learned how to make Beanie Hats and got "hooked" on working on the loom. Can't wait to get started on a shawl. Love your color combinations :)

Thank you for sharing how to do things like a Loom. I have a 10' scarf on a Loom and now I can finish it. I honestly did not know how to do it before!
Thank you! Your video was the easiest to follow and understand. I followed along and made a scarf with you. My yarn was very soft and I used only one strand, so my scarf came out loose, but nice. I am so happy you helped me be successful on my first attempt at making a long loom scarf. THANK YOU!!
I concur with the other comments. You have made learning this easy!! Thank you so much
That is the most beautiful work of crochet scarf, keep up the work 👍
I m so glad I found you! I’ve watched several loom videos and how you take it off the loom is the easiest way I can do it! Thank you thank you!
