I just made my first cowl! It's so beautiful. Thank you! For anyone worried about the bind-off being too tight, I just did it VERY LOOSELY. And I mean loosely!! It came out perfect using this method.
Instructions were so simple to follow. It’s great for beginners. I loved that it was just a knit stitch and not purl or anything too complicated for a complete beginner. I used Lion’s Brand Hometown yarn #6 super bulky. Turned out beautifully! Thanks for the detailed instructions & pattern! I’m going to work my way through more projects on here.
I just want to express gratitude for your video tutorials 🙌🏾💜 I bought a loom and tried this video out and made an beautiful cowl. Thank you again for your time and detail instructions. Blessings to you 💜
Great visual presentation! Other videos go too fast assuming I’m a natural, which I’m not! Your video gave me a confidence boost to bind off my piece! A big thank you! 🙏
Well done vid technically, hands never out of frame and frames never out of focus. Nice white background, can see clearly every stitch you make. All knitting tut vids should be this clear and precise. Thanks.
This is a great cowl. Not tight around the neck at all. V warm and soft as the knit is fairly loose. Will fit an average weight man also. Well mine does.
Best video on cowl knitting on a loom that I have seen and believe me I have watched so many and yours is just easy to understand straight to the point great for beginners and didn't confuse me thank you so so much 10 out of 10 to you can you make some show me different stitches
THANK YOU SSSSOOOOOOOO MUCH!! You truly made this tutorial sooooo SIMPLE AND EASY TO FOLLOW!! Specially for those of us that have never tried making a COWL!! I will make myself one!! IM A NEW SUBSCRIBER, CAN’T WAIT TO LEARN MORE FROM YOU!! You are AWESOME!! Will recommend your channel 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I did it! A Miss a loop in the end and then a use the needle to come up with a knot, and then I hide the yarn, it was hard to understand the end, I rewind many times, you must know I did two yarns gray and burgundy, it looks awesome! Thanks, keep it up!!!
I'd love to see that gray&burgundy cowl!!! Are you on Instagram? Maybe you could share a picture of it with me, I'm @tuteate there :) (I'm sorry the end was hard to understand!)
The only thing I don't understand why it happened was when I went to our thr first row on(cast on row) to knit it was really tight and harder to get on over the top? Is there something I should have done different to keep that from happening
I am not sure if I did something wrong but the bind off has no give which makes it really hard to pull over your head. Is there any way for me to fix that? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for this awesome video!
Sarah my suggestion is that keep knitting until 180cm long, and not fold them like in the video. You just do the bind off shown in the video. Hope this helps
Hola de nuevo! El que se ve en el vídeo es de 41 postes (porque quería un cuello de lana para tamaño de adulto). Encontrarás más detalles sobre los materiales utilizados en la descripción del vídeo. Un abrazo
Wow, I'm new to looming. I made it, but I can't fit it. I made it on a 41 peg loom, but the bind is too small to fit over my head. It is 11.5 diameters. That's the largest diameter I can find. Do you have any suggestions? My head is 25 inches.

I love it, thanQ. Could you show your creations on someone at the end? Would like to see how it looks/fits.

Just knitted a hat now I am going try and knit the cowl to go with it. Looks easy.

@Jamison Jude Try FlixZone. Just search on google for it :)
@Kyler Morgan definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone for since march myself =)
@Kyler Morgan thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I really appreciate it!
@Jamison Jude you are welcome xD
Thank you so much. The instructions were super easy to follow for beginners like me 😊
Thank you for this video can't wait to make my cowl. Your instructions are so easy to follow and I enjoy your videos, so easy to understand.
Thank you for this pattern! This is the first successful thing I've made in a loom. Best tutorial ever.
Thank you so much for your kind words! :) So glad to know you enjoyed this project!
The absolute easiest looming scarf I've seen . I definitely want to try this . 😊

Thank you so much Debbie :)
Very nice, thank you for the video😊
^_^ Thank you Maryann! Glad to know you liked it!
How Do I prevent my bind off being to tight? I did it like you did in the tutorial. But my bind off was much tighter than the rest of my cowl.
Hi Pia! Thank you for your comment! I'm sorry it doesn't fit... Maybe you could also try this other method: ruclips.net/video/giUTOMDkmBc/видео.html
Súper, me encantó gracias
Muchas gracias de nuevo :) Un abrazo
Do you happen to know the title of this song? It’s so beautiful! I see who it’s by but they have a lot of different songs out there.
Is size 6 yarn to big for this project?
Perfecto 😀😻❤️
Muchísimas gracias Guile! ^_^
I found out the hard way that you have to bind off LOOSELY couldn’t get it over my head lol 😂 my bad
Hahaha...I'm sorry to "hear" that! Maybe you could also try this other method: ruclips.net/video/giUTOMDkmBc/видео.html
I did the same too tight lol
Ma'am is this 41peg loom .can I try in 36 peg loom.
I had the same problem when I did the cast off at the end. Way to tight to fit over my head.
Hello thank you for the easy cowl video! I wonder if I could knit more than 52 rows, then fold up, so it’s a wider cowl? Thank you ❤
I'm trying that method our now. I'm not even close to 52 rows cause I just started it.
A bit disappointed, my bind off was too tight using this method and now it can’t fit on my head :(
Mine was the same
Same ☹️
Use the super stretchy bind off
You may have pulled too tight on the loops when you were binding off.
Ciao quale telaio posso usare per fare questo progetto per bambina di 6anni? Grazie
The only thing I don't understand why it happened was when I went to our thr first row on(cast on row) to knit it was really tight and harder to get on over the top? Is there something I should have done different to keep that from happening
How many yards of yarn does this project take on the 41 peg loom ? Thank you
Hi Rhonda! I used about 85 - 87 yards of a size #5 yarn called Phildar Rapido
What peg loom is this? It just says round??
Can i use this neck warmer as a headband??
The first one I tried to make ended up being to tight and I couldn't fit my head through. So just make sure you don't close it off tight.
رائعة
Thank you :)

andrewjmoffett bind off loosely I found out the hard way 🤣
Hi andrewjmoffett! Maybe you could try this other method: ruclips.net/video/giUTOMDkmBc/видео.html
I was just wondering if u can do this with a long loom ? Great video
Ofc, just make a long rectangle and keep going until it's long enough to wrap around your head, then sew it together.
جميل ❤
:) Thank you so much
Why does everyone hide the bits at the end vs cutting them?
How do determine sizing for a child?
An easy pattern to follow but the bind off is way too tight and needs to be modified. I can't use the finished product as a cowl now :(

Thank you! ^_^
Is this the fisherman's rib stitch?
Is there a way to use this pattern to make a normal long scarf? (I want it to match the hat)
Sarah my suggestion is that keep knitting until 180cm long, and not fold them like in the video. You just do the bind off shown in the video. Hope this helps
Didn’t work for me way too tight at the end
What size round loom?
Love this simple pattern 😘
Jilly I agree and I was wondering the same thing.
41 peg XL CHECK out the description box for more information she lists the size there.
@@spotipco 41 peg loom XL
NTHA1ST NTHA1ST thanks. I didn’t even think to look in the description.
Sara James I didn’t either! 🙄 🙈
