Thank you! I needed to get my mom who is really sick and on chemotherapy to bundle up on these cold CHICAGO days. I knew if I made her something she would wear it. Even if just to show me she likes what I made her. Whatever gets her to dress warm willingly. I simply didn’t have the time to knit with needles, and this video was super easy to follow and helped me actually finish a project which is so incredibly rare. I get bored fast. Also the weather is already cold. My mom doesn’t have much longer, and although I have several gifts in the making for her, loom knitting is much faster so thanks to your clear tutorial I actually finished the scarf, it looks awesome and she actually loves it and wears it happily. It might be the only knitted gift I’m able to give her before she passes. Its only been a year since I picked up yarn for any reason but Thanks to RUclips taught myself to knit and loom knit about a year ago. Many many days and nights I spend at the hospital with my mom, and i never don’t have my needles, yarn and now a loom. It has literally saved my sanity and kept me focused on something positive. I can’t thank u enough.

You make such incredible patterns. This is the absolute best bindoff I have ever seen on a scarf done on a round loom. The end of the scarf is perfectly square, clean and just beautiful. Thank you!!!
Thank you for starting at the beginning of a pattern and going at a good pace so we can see exactly what you are doing. I picked up some round looms and yarn today. Ready to make a scarf.
This is an amazing tutorial! i gave up knitting on a loom because all I could figure out what to do was a simple wrap&knit beanie. This was very helpful, thank you!
Ive been doing knit hats for a while, learning about different sized yars, and just learned how to knit AND purl!! SO FUN!! Now to see how to do a scarf....I am VERY excited. Thank you!!
I have just finished making this scarf!!! I am in love with it. Thank you so much for this awesome video, I will be making this in other colors for sure.
After an op that didn't work for me I woke up and my hands and arms had a tremor from now on. It's still the same every second I live and this will go on for the rest of my life. With this kind of loom I learned to knit then! I didn't wanna give up. I first made a scarf and then a bonnet. I practiced to get on, being the chef of my extremities again. Now, 4 years later, I'm arble to knit with normal needles. I need a lot more time but it works! I made 7 pairs of socks, two pairs with a pattern, one withe cable knitting. I made a raglan pullover, too. My doctors couldn't believe at first that I'm the one to have made theese things. Without these looms I never would have had a chance and I know that it's better never to give up. Last two things were a loop for my beloved son and a scarf for a special girl friend who can't knit herself after getting ill in another kind of illness. She helps me to learn to play my guitar and I knit for her. It's her birthday today. It took me 12 days to knit this scarf but I'm proud to have ended it very fine. A loom is a great thing for anyone who doesn't want or can't knit in "normal" way with two needles. After looming I made my knitting objects with one hoog and ond needle, bent on a line of an interchangeable knitting set I bought. But since 2 years I'm knitting with 2 normal needles, Knit Pro, because that's the only one (woodden needles)that works for me. I tried other kinds and materials. I'm happy that it works. Nowadays I'm watching videos like this to see that there are some looming artists like you to show the world what can happen if one wants it to let it go! Congratulations!
Wow! Congratulations to you! Thank you so much for sharing your story here, I'm so proud of you! What a good example! (And thank you so much for choosing this project as a birthday gift)
This took a lot of the mystery out of making a scarf--and much faster than knitting or crocheting. I can't wait to give this a try--which is very soon.
Thanks for sharing. I just learned knitting, because of the birth of my great grand daughter. So far I've knitted beanies, booties, scrafs. This scraf video is so easy to follow and the pattern is beautiful. Lots of relatives will be getting a scraf.
Thank you for another beautiful pattern! This one will be next on my list for sure and I know my daughter will claim right away. lol Your videos are amazing and because of them I started loom knitting. :)
Hello, can you please show me how to use two colors? I tried it on the rake, but it's extremely loose. I can't find a video on how to do a flat panel bi-colored brioche on a round loom. Thank you so much for your tutorial.
@@Tuteate Thank you so very much! I'm looking foward to seeing your video. My plans are to make a blanket using this stitch, as it's perfect for the project I have in mind. I love your videos. I'm a beginner and your instructions make it fun to learn. 😊😊
I am the "first" ... to comment :D !! Your work is too good, you have golden hands !! When I could get some wool I'll try to make the scarf ! For the moment, thank you for your soft tutorial !!
What numbers can I adjusted if I want to widen it up? By 3 ? For example 4,4,4,4,4,4 plus 2 for boarding.... something like that. Some have 6,6,6,6 plus 2 I like these 2 row repeats than 6 since I'm still a beginner and a bit slow. I like these from start tutorial videos and tells you what needs to be done in talking and by written. Thank you so much. You were much more to understand I hope you continue to make more videos like this one. Take care stay safe
Point magnifique qui donne un aspect gonflé à la laine employée . Pour des écharpes ou des bonnets il doit convenir particulièrement . Bravo pour votre démonstration !
I've tried making this lovely pattern but my few rows are so incredibly loose. I get back to where I started and am left with huge amount of yarn that can pull tight by the yarn tied by a slip knot. Where am I going wrong please,
I'm still new to this but could I use #6 yarn instead? I have this beautiful green and black yarn I've been wanting to use for a Slytherin scarf but too afraid to use for fear of not wanting to waste it.
I I have the written pattern and can't get the pattern to work correctly.I think I saw something about a revised pattern.where can I find it if this if so.thanks.
Hi Katie! Don't worry, we only use the anchor peg to temporarily hold the strand of yarn (you could use any other peg to do the same function, or use the loom to step on the strand for a while).
why is mine wrinkled like bacon on the edges? i pulled the yarn when casting on to make sure it's tight but still the start end is so loose while the end is so tightened

I've made long scarves twice, by your pattern on a rectangular loom. Never made one a round loom. Maybe now is a good time. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you Kira! So glad to know you followed the rectangular loom twice! I think you will find this other version faster to knit! Hope you like it

Hi there, can the ribs be done in a different colour like in your rectangle loom brioche tutorial?
If I used this same pattern but using a bigger loom would it make a nice baby blanket?
I've tried doing this lovely pattern but my first few rows are so incredibly loose and look awful. Any ideas please.
