    I finally found the video where I learned to knit and purl at the same time! Yes, I always make sure I set up my cast on to work this way. Thanks again! The project works up alot faster.

    Hi Gina-I just started this very second the skinny scarf! Feel like I am spending time with you! I knit and then pause the video to keep up with you. I am using the same make of yarn. I will tell you when I finish. I love your videos. I have made many of your neck cowls. Oh, I have to do the pearls all one way, and then the knits all the other way. My mind gets too overloaded keeping track of doing each peg with wrap and pearl. Yours came out so pretty. Here I go!! Thanks Gina!

  • @Annieb519

    I think they also called the combination of the ewrap and purl stitch, garter stitch. I have done this before and when I saw Gina use it in this pattern I knew then that it would go a lot faster. Gina, thanks for showing the combination stitch of the ewrap/purl!

      Gina, I have loom knitted for over 5 years but I took a hiatus before my husband passed away. I'm just now picking loom knitting up again. I joined a group called chase the chill who makes scarves and hats for donation. I looked at many patterns here on RUclips and actually your pattern made the most sense to me because I think I can make it wider for someone older as well as use your pattern to make it for a child. Thank you for bringing the pattern to life!!

    I'm making a scarf as well but my loom is the long one not round what's confusing me is this I did the erap all the way up to the end I have 12 pegs then I went back the other way did the same wrapping then I went to the procedures of looping it over the back the other way but do you have to Pearl and anytime on your loom when you're making it just a plain erap scarf or no you don't have to do that I'm a beginner never did this thank you very much

    • @GinaLay
      @GinaLay  2 года назад +1

      You don’t have to purl but your project will more thank likely curl at the edges. The purl stitch stops it from doing that. :)

    I just have a question… i thought i was clever and did e Stitches all the way… after like 100 rows i realized the whole scarf curls into a cilinder… what can i do?

    • @GinaLay
      @GinaLay  5 дней назад +1

      @@ekcres04 One idea you could try is making a single crochet border around the entire scarf. If you are unsure on what a single crochet is, I have a video on it and there are others on RUclips. Other than that, I’m not sure what else’s would prevent the curl. 🤗 Please let me know if you have any more questions. ♥️
