I love the scarf and hat! I like to make matching sets. I will be making a set for my friend in PA. She likes neutral colors. I will use white as the main color, and a light sage green for the thin stripe. Of course I may change my mind on the colors (most likely). Maybe reverse the colors. Thanks for the great tutorial! :-))))

Awesome Video! Thanks! Just a suggestion for other viewers, though, I find I am a bit clumsy when it comes to wrapping the pegs so I use just the tube part of a pen (maybe any other tube-like item will work) and thread the yarn through using a needle, than I just use the pen to "write" my yarn around each peg. Perfect tension each time and when I am finished just drop the pen down and the weight of the pen ensures that the yarn doesn't accidentally unwind. Someone else passed the pen idea on to me and it works like a charm. Hopefully, someone else can use this idea too! Again, Great Video!

How come there is only one loop on each peg of your loom when you go to close the scarf? I have 2 left, just like I would at the end of a row. Also, when you cut eighteen inches of yarn to close, are you cutting a separate piece of yarn or adding the additional inches to the already attached yarn?

I saw on a different video from someone else that 4 rows equals 1 inch. 12 inches in a foot. Hope this helps. All you have to do is figure out how many rows you need for the person you are making it for.
