    Thanks denise i did post about a problem on one of your threads with bubbles a couple of months ago, as a friend made baby ugg boots.. and you have solved how to do the bobble.. i modified this and made these socks but i wanted more of a flop sock, so did ewrap rim, and added an extra purl at the end, did e wrap u wrap purl and back to ewrap... i love them.. now i have done this i have figured out how she does the intermittent bobbles which i wanted to do.. so in the near future will be doing the ugg boots bobbles which have been bugging me for ages.. i combined 3 peoples patterns on this sock and added my own and i love them.... ty. wish we could post photos here.

    Two questions: If I want to make them bigger or smaller, about how many rows should be added/ taken away to go up/ down a size? Also, what is the best type and weight of yarn to use for socks so they have some stretch?

    Well..... Ive watched this video 5 times. Ive made five socks. Finally, on the last two.... I have a matching pair. I can also increase and decrease without looking at the video ( I did write down the instructions though). I would really like to make these with a thinner yarn, as I feel like my toes are still bulky, and I can't seem to get that right.

    Hi Denise, how do you figure out differen shoe sizes. . These slippers look wonderful.
    Thank you so much for the beautiful videos.
    Thank you

    • @povertylevelphilanthropy1524
      @povertylevelphilanthropy1524 4 года назад +1

      333whippet It depends on the thickness of your yarn. With my current yarn it’s around 4.25 rows per size. (Size 7 = 30 rows) In order to get a good estimate you can knit one to fit your own foot, holding it to your foot for measure as you go, and count the number used and divide it by your known shoe size.

    Love these socks but the heel gave me fits. I persevered (rewound, rewound) and got it done. Do you have a video (or would you make a video) on doing heels. It will be interesting to see what the second sock looks like, LOL! You, Denise, are my fave loom knitting guru! Thank you for all that you do. Carol - I know this comment was not made with bad intentions and was said without a good understanding of the magnitude of work involved so please don’t take this badly but “Revise” is not like I erase the words and rewrite some sentences, it means, knitting for days, filming for days and editing for up to 6-8 hours. I suggest slowing down the video playback in the settings.

      You can change the speed of the video and make it slower. Touch the 3 dots on the upper right hand corner and select playback speed

    You need to slow down. It was so hard to follow these steps. Ended up getting frustrated and called it quits...

      I am frustrated too. But I want to learn the heal part. I'm confused and stuck. If she slows down, I can do it with her. But its just to fast for that

      @@LoomaHat watched it again, didn't realize you were double stranding the yarn and the blue stitch markers looked like yarn to me. It was more the amount of yarn on the heel pegs that confused me.

    When the pattern is getting intricate, the video is on a fast forward mode.
