My old buddy Rob, known him for 30 years, came by and said his fuses kept blowing..and asked if i had a "40 amp" for him. I took one look at his system and knew i had to do something. I fixed him up and got him on the road. I told him, when i have time, i will go through and fix all this stuff for you. It's BAD. REAL Bad. In a funny way. I guess he got it mostly like this. I don't know who is responsible for the bucket o' bass but i HAD to share this with you guys. Make sure to subscribe and hit like if you think i should hook Rob up proper and fix this for him.

guys - i started today at 3:45am and worked all day at the shop. Quadruple tasking as we are backordered on EVERYTHING we make. I am so buried i can't even see straight but i still got this done for him. I worked until 3:30 and edited video till 8pm. So if you took the time to watch this video i truly appreciate you! You did an absolutely incredible job at fixing that sound system, just had a look again on those pictures before you started to get a nice comparison and it was an absolute nightmare!! Had to fix my stereo in my 300C, which definitely wasn't that bad, but even that was a looooot of work.
Props to you, can't wait to see you start the system on the Escalade!

Bro I’ve been following your builds since I was 14, your a true inspiration!! Not many dudes in my area get down with the bass scene, but for the last 10 years I have!! My set up now isn’t very good, I got 2 MTX terminator 12’s on a kicker 600x2 but it does get the job done for now! Keep the good work flowing man!
Whoever hates on the brightness of the gauge I’m sure there is a way to wire in a dimmer switch or put a tinted type of glass over it all. Good design!! Smd is a nice brand and these are nice videos.
Hey Steve, your other High end videos are really cool and everything, But This One really Rocks because mostly realates to our everyday cars and your video shows what we can do our self to it with out some high end tools or machinery..

Those stock alts are 105amp I know cause I just had to replace mine lol. I bought a Singer 270amp and ain't looked back. Mechman's are badass alts too, My singer does 220 at idle, but I paid for it lol I only went with Singer over mechman cause customer service is off the chain with Michael Singer! We probably spent a month back and forth before I pulled the trigger and he was there with an answer every email I sent him! So shout out to him!!! But as usual bro another badass video! We all appreciate the hard work u put into everything!!!

I really Dig those gauges I haven't seen the AMP gauge before. I think that is such a great idea for the guy who wants to know what is going on. I see why you sell them, everyone should have that in there system

Our windows aren't the best when it comes to stress and our alternators came stock either 90 or 110 depending on if it was a v6 or v8, but we all know the output is way less than stock. That panel looks amazing. I might have you make one for my truck. Keep up with the amazing work. If you need an extra employee I'm down just fly me out there. I've been doing audio installation for 7 years self taught and have been fixing cars for the same amount of time. If I ever got stuck on an install I always watched your videos or looked on Cruthfield and SonicElectronix.

Lol I knew from jump. Once rob got a SMD overhaul on his truck. That his truck would start having parts fall off left and right. When he comes back Saturday. He will have a bigger crack and probably lost a bumper. Fucking awesome. What a solid friend

That stock alternator is holding up very well, the voltage drop isnt dramatic

I replaced my stock 95a alternator with a 135a It sure helps a lot.Thinking about getting a smaller pulley to increase the amps at idle.

Those alternators seem pretty impressive for their high current output and compact size. I don't know if you're familiar with Leece-Neville but one of their alternators of a comparable current output is friggin' HUGE compared to that.

When will that gauge bezel be available i have 94 c1500 i would love to actually be able to use that cuby space for the same thing
His guages are available online. Make your own bezel out of plastic or wood and get a can of bedliner.
