the reaction was priceless! I will have that video ready to go in a day or so! I swear he has been out driving and slapping his new shit all day long! i love it! This was a fun build. Yes it took a long time but i am a very busy person. I did this on the side and i did it for free all while triple and quadruple tasking at my shop with my normal daily responsibilities. If this was my only job (installing) it would have been done a lot faster. In the end, it was totally worth it after seeing his jaw drop when that first bass note hit! Subscribe and don't miss that episode coming next! Thank you all for watching the entire series if you did!
hit like and let me know if you watch my episodes on your tv in the living room and tell me where you are from! I think it's fu##n' awesome to know i am in your house like a real tv episode (sometimes) :D I love technology!
Your work and just the precision of all you do is amazing I wish you or someone on your level was in chicago cuz I don't know of anyone here with a cnc and their own brand killing the market
Killer install once again Meade... Your boy Rob is lucky and I'm sure very grateful to call you a friend...!!! Good shit man... Can't wait to see what you got in store for the escalade tt...!!!
I wish I had these videos back in the day to watch, when I was still doing this stuff. It was a lot of trial and error for me. Mostly errors, and even worse, my sound never came out good. Good job dude.
I wasn't exactly your biggest fan, wouldn't say i was a hater but I was not following you. After seeing this and what you have generously done for a friend, you now have my respect sir. Your work is definitely great quality and done using top notch methods. I am now a subscriber, well done.
Sick lady liberty tat what a wonderful country we live in that a guy like Steve can take his skills n passion and build a successful business and reputation the fact that he pays homage to that makes me respect him that much more.
Listening to this on my Focal headphones. Do have all focal speakers in truck and a 10 inch sundown. Headphones sound just as good. I like your attention to detail with your install. Great video.
Wow!! That SM guy is such a jerk!! So typical... Some poor guy drops off a dope install with a custom Home Depot 'Bucket as a Box' set up and this SM guy gets all jealous and just wrecks his truck!!! I for one hope that Karma catches up serves this SM guy what he deserves
i Have always been a huge fan of how clean you love to run your wires and everything. It's just so pleasing to watch. One of the main reasons i love to watch these kind of build videos from you.
don't need ferrules. These inputs are designed to be used with wire. What are you laughing at? you have never used or had a reason to ever use them. Now THAT is funny!
@@VICE1385 what are you saying? Hector who has never hooked anything up. You both are too funny trying to judge what i do from your couch ain't never touched a wire in your life. LOL i'm just sayin' haha
I like the crossovers for the highs ran right off the amp and each speaker receiving its own wire. Gonna revamp my setup with this wiring style. Thx for the motivation.
Steve, your amp rack wiring is straight cable porn man. You do some damn good work. If I ever win the lottery I'm gonna have you build me a stereo for my car.
Sick sick sick as usual bro I know that he will be blown away. Awesome build and it was laid out perfectly. Nice work Steve you are truly one of a kind man.
3:25 I followed instructions. Off an 8 inch Logitech sub with 6: 3/2' surround sound. Running on a Dell XPS desktop. Had my singlewide humbled home shaking. Good shit ! This build is super clean, Mr. Meade #SMD
very clean install . nice work as allways. loved these vids. on this build , You are the best friend a BASSHEAD could ever have . BASSHEADS FOR LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a beautiful job Steve! I wish you lived in Mexico, I love your cajon, your finishes, your precision, you are the best in the car audio.saludos from Mexico.
That wiring is a thing of beauty, Steve! Awesome! And yeah, moving that much air, you'll find every last little squeak and rattle the truck has to offer! LOL
this why your channel is bad ass I plugged my aux from home stero to my Xbox controller when you said if your using really big subwoofers lol watching this the bass hit I was like Ohhh thanks man you put some work in to make it sound good for this type of use your work is 100 and always clean keep it up brutha
i have watched alot of your vids from installs to info on audio equipment...i will say that i truly consider you and audio icon...a master of your craft sir...keep up the videos and stay on your hustle..hoorah!
Holy shit! From start to finish, this is the cleanest install I've EVER seen! So clean, i could eat off the box and amps but wouldn't because "im not worthy" *garth voice from Wayne's world*
Steve, on the next amp dyno test / reveal. How about showing the bottom of the circuitry board (guts) and examine all the soldier points for the caps, mosfets and transformers. I'd like to see how well the new amps are slapped together.
I got the same truck, this is exactly what I needed to see. Tearing out my old stuff to put that platform in just like this 1! Only difference is I'm using 15s but still some helpful vids! That's what's up Steve, as always killed that shit
Great job, I have 2kicker shallow mount 10's in my king ranch and the "pro" who installed it did a half ass job and they cut out all the time. Wish I went to you first. 916- Lincoln.
Very late to the party. But I never thought of using heat shrink that way to huddle everything together. Much cleaner then tiny zip ties. Might have to start doing that from this point forward
man that thing hits hard..i also like that the whole install is below the back window of the truck..Maybe i should look for one of these trucks...lots of room for installs!!
This is straight up giving me ideas for my new system. Just a quick question, are we ever gonna see the Tercel or Civic again? I liked the builds on those, and it’d be cool to see them again.
Thanks for the warning for those beats. Got my headphones on for those. crappy speakers on my tv that I use for a monitor just can't compare. Great tracks btw.
What id like to know is with all the time and effort he puts into making the boxes perfect with a cnc router and everything why he cant use a simple wire ferrel on the amp terminals for the power wires? Just my thoughts on it though other than that awesome install!!
the reaction was priceless! I will have that video ready to go in a day or so! I swear he has been out driving and slapping his new shit all day long! i love it! This was a fun build. meade916 just as he should
I like that idea of using heat shrink as a wire management tool. Looks much better than just a zip tie.
i agree
hit like and let me know if you watch my episodes on your tv in the living room and tell me where you are from! I think it's fu##n' awesome to know i am in your house like a real tv episode (sometimes) :D I love technology!

Robby sent me a video this morning of him Slapping some bass! Thanks for hooking my brother up Steve!!!
no prob! it was fun! :)
Your work and just the precision of all you do is amazing I wish you or someone on your level was in chicago cuz I don't know of anyone here with a cnc and their own brand killing the market
That shit was slamming, clean ass work too. Sad this little series is over can’t wait to see what’s up next

Awesome work Steve 😎👌 very clean setup love it I wish I could hear it in person ..
Watching this makes me so much more confident on what can be done with 1k~1.5k
As always Steve Meade FTW
I wish I had these videos back in the day to watch, when I was still doing this stuff. It was a lot of trial and error for me. Mostly errors, and even worse, my sound never came out good. Good job dude.
videos of these type are so immensely satisfying..that green car, psyph's car, brandito's hoopty..its like aural restoration
I'm glad to be streaming this to my home theater tonight haha neighbors aren't so happy that it's late in the evening.....
you gotta sub hooked up? report back on some of those beats in the background, ESPECIALLY the heater in the middle :D thanks Fluff!
meade916 it was great, got a older bose acoustimass on a denon receiver. Its small, but in a small apartment it bangs well

Steave Meade should change his name to Steve Clean because every build he does is so damn CLEAN
Nice to see you doing straight crimps without soldering as well, unlike some other Tubers. Keep up the fine work, Mr. Meade.
i solder or i crimp depending on what the job calls for or how i feel that day. thanks!
What you do is art brother.
My guy puts in mad work on his builds! Never slacks on his quality!
Sound system- $20000.00
Truck - $1500
Bumping ass system- PRICELESS
1500? LOL!!! 150 tops.
I have 4 15's 2 12 and 2 5 ½" speakers hooked up to my PC. Always fun watching....and listening..and feeling the BASS!!!!!
this guy is so talented.a true craftsman.question,is that thick of wire really that necessary?
benzboston more juice to the amplifier's. I use 0 gauge on my amp and 8 gauge for my sub wire.
I have never seen a more professional and clean system, awesome job

I’m glad you said at the end you will sound deaden it as I was thinking your not giving it back with those vibrations? Lol! Real neat install.
I'm glued to this build. I'm very interested to see how this somewhat modest but hefty and well laid out build will do.
Steve, on the next amp dyno test / reveal. How about showing the bottom of the circuitry board (guts) and examine all the soldier points for the caps, mosfets and transformers. I'd like to see how well the new amps are slapped together.

Very neat and clean install. I dig the SMD personalized heatshrink, awesome touch.
Would be awesome to see another build series like this!!
He said that he's going to start on the Escalade's build after he finishes this one.
I hate to see it go because the build has been great. Looking forward to seeing whats going to top this one.
