Good run-through of the features. Looks pretty good for the price. What's missing here is the depth of audio processing that will give the ability to tune a system fully flat. What I mean is, a 15 band graphic EQ is limited. A single band parametric EQ only let's you fix one problem area. A very good DSP will have 30 band graphic EQ and minimum of 10 parametric EQ filters. I would pay double the price of this for the same interface design but with more processing. in some cases the ability to program via an app or PC is a must. However, sometime simple is better. i like the simple all in one design of the 2.8X. I am not bashing this DSP unit. I think the price is affordable and I'm going to get one for use on my workbench for testing.
i had mine installed wrong all this time, i had split my sub and mid RCA's and put them in a b. it played very well just needed some tuning. after watching this video and re installing the correct way, i cant get my mids or highs to play. help is very much needed
I was thinking of getting 2 of these. So I can run rca cables from my rear speaker and one from my front speaker rca out. Have one for the amps for my tweets and the other one going to my Amp for the mids. Have 8 6.5" mids and 8 horn tweets.
So, if you ran one DSP FOR THE LEFT AND ONE DSP FOR THE RIGHT would that create a stereo sound instead of a MONO sound? Or is that even necessary? Update, I just got this yesterday! Pictures, videos, do it no justice. It's really a nice unit!

nice to see a DSP that doesn't require a laptop to use! having said that, there are things that could be better. ditch the stupid EQ presets, and use the processor power for more EQ bands. if you want SQ, a digital input of some kind is needed. a port for an (extra cost)external display would be a nice, allowing you to set the system from the driver's seat. all in all, looks excellent for the price.

you are very knowledgeable about the device itself and how to work around the settings, but you explained in the input parametric eq wrong, specifically the Q-Factor the tighter or the lower the value the more that will affect neighboring frequencies and the looser or higher the number the the less that will spread and affect neighboring frequencies. if you want to cut 63hz frequency or boosted without affecting 50hz or 80hz you will choose a higher number... but if you want round out more evenly and lower or boost everything around the 63hz you will go with a smaller number.

What happens if you remove your car’s battery ?
Everything has to be reset again?
No it does not reset if you removed from your system! We do have even some authorized dealers that Tune the unit at thier shop and ship to the customers with all the settings so they can just plug it in and use it
@@PRVAudio thanks 🙏🏽
Seriously, every single video I watch just skips over the save feature, and I've watched several. Does it even work? I have tried to save and all I get is some stupid screen where they want a name input. I can't get past this to the actual save. Could you PLEASE tell me how to do this? I emailed the manufacturer this question and cue the crickets. I can't find it on google, YT, the manual, or anywhere else. PLEASE HELP.
There is no saving - everything is saved as soon you set it! You can save different profiles but when you are doing adjustment whatever is set is saved already! even if you unplug the units all the settings will be saved when you turn it on back again.
When naming the save, the arrow pointing right will end the naming input selection and save the profile
