I commented a couple videos back about how this project was lagging, but I take it all back. You are going way beyond what was required of this truck, and it shows just how genuine you are as a person by hooking your friend up using your own expenses. SMD does not fuck around.

I think that it is excellent to see videos like this. People need to see the step-by-step and piece by piece working and upgrades that have been done. It makes you respect and appreciate the work that goes into this when it is done correctly like this.

Very nice man killer equipment its gonna beat. As for the people that are complaining about the videos not coming fast enough you all step off. This man is using his own time, money, shop, and expertise to build his friend a pro system. He has a business to run as well parts and equipment to make so know what your talking about before you speak. Awesome job Steve paying it forward keep up the astonishing work dude.

Steve does some amazing work! No short cuts no half assing of any kind, not even the slightest! I’ve been doing my own car audio for years now, and I will say Steve has inspired a lot of how I do thing to this day! I’ve gone 3 different routes with the system in my truck in the past year and a half. 1st was 2 12” Sony xplods and a kenwood 1500watt amp, 2nd was 3 12” Sony xplods, and a Logic 2000watt amp, 3rd was a 15” Kicker CVR and a Power Acoustik Razor 1500watt amp. Currently in the making is my 4th using 2 15” Q-Power subs, in a slot port Q-Bomb box, with each sub having its own Power Acoustik Razor 1500watt amp and a 500k Farad Cap!

I hope the owner of this truck has a decent security system on it or he's planning to do so because when this is done it's going to have serious bucks on car audio.
Always a pleasure to see you work, Steve!

Excessively nice wiring. I'm of the belief that wiring is the foundation of any setup. Good grounds, reliable and durable materials and connections, headroom. This is where a good install starts, and without it, it's not a good install. It's not a show truck, but that's not why the wiring is right. It has to be right, regardless of who sees it. Good idea on the extra wiring for accessories. This guy obviously is the sort to need the, and giving him a safe, reliable place to get power without wrecking the necessary connections at the battery is smart thinking for him and for you as the guy who'll have to fix it later if it gets messed up.

That Mechman wire looks so much easier to work with than the welding cable I've been using. Might just fork out the extra money and get a roll of that.
