mr j great video, would love to see some stress tests on these joints. they have great potential for furniture building. With a plethora of tired instructional videos i always find yours original and inspiring, look forward to many more in 2022.
Hello, I like the aspect of this 2nd join ; as suggested by "Michael Singh", that could be very instructive to have a review of strength/stress test on the joins you already have shared with us (I am pretty sure you can find a way to apply strength and measure the applied force). On other of your contents and particularly on this video, I am astonished there is no blade guard behind the saw : you explained in other comments I've read that with time you have learned what can be done and what can not ( for instance I see your work is secured on the tools horizontal and vertical sleds, avoiding the work to "bend" to the saw , and as your fence is really strong, few risk of moving) I am very pleased to see your work, so stay safe and thanks from France 👍🇫🇷
Very nice. Both joints look very beautiful! You always make very difficult things look easy my friend. So much so that I almost think I could do it. But I know your level of craftmanship is much better than mine. Very beautiful joints my friend. Thanks for sharing the secrets.
Perfect . Very good your work. I'm in awe of everything you do. They are perfect jobs. Congratulations on the videos. A great year of 2022 for you and your family. I'm from Tremembé, São Paulo, Brazil.
Starting the year off strong buddy. Nice joinery techniques as always. I wish I could do more like this but people don't like to pay for that level of quality. But, times are tough right now as well. Great video as well...very clear as always.
Mr. J do you have a pdf of this project that I could buy ? The videos are awesome but sometimes I'm not quite sure of the exact angles you cut each piece. thank you
Superb work as usual! Thank you!
The last jointery is so simple yet, so amazing.

It's up to you. You can change the angle. I usually use 14 degrees for soft wood. Thanks for watching sir.
