I had no fear in making this video. All of the things you worry about are useless. You say no and no without trying anything. These dovetails are very powerful. The problem has arisen elsewhere, I'll tell you later. We are at a very low level in carpentry. The universe we have to navigate is wide. Always, thank the trees and don't exploit them. Thanks for watching my video.

Mokong, my man, no offense meant. It’s your stuff so I’m not really worried. Where do I start? The dovetails are very good, hence my comment about your circular saw skills. It’s what to do with attaching anything that is perpendicular to the table top (and sides) may restrict the woods natural expansion and then you have the potential to split. Made in the summer starts to shrink across the grain in the winter so if fastened in a way that restricts the movement well you have all the ingredients for, well you know a big split in the top. Wish you the best.

Hand crafted things of all shapes and sizes are the best. From little bits of jewellery, up to a whole house, nothing can beat the feel of something hand made. You can feel the effort and a little bit if the heart of the artist every time you go near it. Love crafting things.

It's really not that expensive to get started in woodworking. You can do a lot with a few hand tools, a power drill and a circular saw. Obviously you won't be able to build quickly, but if you a tool here and there over time, before you know it you will have a very nice shop.

It's obvious to both the novice and pro alike that the skill level presented is top notch. My actual comment is this. Hour upon hour condensed into mere minutes. Most of you tube could learn most everything about a presentation. Both types of work speak for themselves. By the way I am not much for wood working. You had roughly 10 to 15 seconds to get my view. My edit. Smart enough to leave out music as well.

Beautiful work, I used to be a blacksmith when I was younger and loved being creative with metal. Your work makes me want to be creative again. 👍
