I had no fear in making this video. All of the things you worry about are useless. You say no and no without trying anything. These dovetails are very powerful. The problem has arisen elsewhere, I'll tell you later. We are at a very low level in carpentry. The universe we have to navigate is wide. Always, thank the trees and don't exploit them. Thanks for watching my video.
Mokong, my man, no offense meant. It’s your stuff so I’m not really worried. Where do I start? The dovetails are very good, hence my comment about your circular saw skills. It’s what to do with attaching anything that is perpendicular to the table top (and sides) may restrict the woods natural expansion and then you have the potential to split. Made in the summer starts to shrink across the grain in the winter so if fastened in a way that restricts the movement well you have all the ingredients for, well you know a big split in the top. Wish you the best.
Hay mann. I support you.. thats right, keep going wtih what you doing right now.. love your job
Why even apologize to these guys im sure none of them put in the care to do it
ok
Thank the trees and don't exploit them, meanwhile takes wood from probably a 30year old tree, kills it to make table🤦♂️
Hand crafted things of all shapes and sizes are the best. From little bits of jewellery, up to a whole house, nothing can beat the feel of something hand made. You can feel the effort and a little bit if the heart of the artist every time you go near it. Love crafting things.
I love the precise cuts and no talking great video
What a craftsman! Beautiful work. I love seeing a workshop where Milwaukee and Makita get along.
You’re craftsmanship is something to behold!
I am just a hobbyist woodworker.
You fooled me! :)
I don't understand all the thumbs down. All that work is like a master piece. You have a special set of skills, skills you have acquired over a long career, skills that make you a nightmare for the thumb downers. They should apologise now and that will be the end of it!! Keep the pieces coming great watch!
Simple answer... They are jealous of this man.
@@theprofitmohamhead1268 Thank you, yes you are right I was going to say what you said but all the work that Mokong TV did just deserved that much more of a reply to the downers!
Beautiful work sir.
This piece of furniture will be handed down many generations and owned with pride.
I'm a finish carpenter with 30 years experience and his work is extraordinary....
Pride in ones work is a lost art wonderful to see such beautiful work as this.
I very much enjoy that you are using "normal tools" and showing that anything is possible if you just try it.
I used to help my papa in his workshop do this kinda stuff over 20 years ago. A fine art.

This man has it all.. the tools but most important.. a vision to create most beautiful pieces (art in my opinion)!
Very well done 🙏🙏
Watching people crafting out beautiful furnitures and display items from raw wood always fascinates me. Wood is a natural gift to mankind and these meticulous souls are great blessings for us.
The gentleman here is highly skilled and sure capable of doing wonders with the wood. Much enjoyed video. 10/10 👍
Holy crap, someone get this man a thickness planer and a wide belt sander lol. My hands are numb watching you HAND sand this for days. Those keys on the mitre edge are beautiful, excellent job!
He has a thickness planer. He uses it in this video. My guess is that the pieces he used for the tabletop were too wide for it.
EDIT: But I agree. My hands ache watching him do all that sanding.
@@elijahmcstotts2871 I must have missed that part then lol. Either way, his work is dope 🙂
@@khrysteenbrown6160 It was when he was making the support for the other end. It was a really quick shot. But yeah, very impressive work.
Elegance of the wood made perfect - thank you
Here’s what I ❤️ about this vid.... he’s not working with a $150,000 worth of equipment. Basic quality tools any average person can accumulate from the local store. Oh and the final product was absolutely beautiful
Sick of those simple easy begginner woodworking videos filmed in a fully kitted workshop?
Not all of them are cheap. He is using somewhat expensive saws
Wow! Great result! Thank you for sharing.
I love all the little tips and tricks to make the table look unique.
Great jod idol.thanks for sharing.keep it up.
Stay safe
Support done.
I have a love hate relationship with your videos. I’m amazed by your skill yet your skill make my skill seem novice. What I like the most about your videos is that at the end of the build you take the time to show the details of your creation. Welcome done sir.
Brilliant work Muchacho! 👍🏼🏁
Thank you for a lesson in carpentry. Awesome table. Have faith in your beliefs and techniques. Don't have to listen to others' negative opinions.✌🏿🙏🏿
This is not a table. This is a work of ART. Never seen such a clean table. Would love to own one someday!
Truly a master of your art🙇♂️🙇♂️🙇♂️
I need to make more use of my circular saw after watching this. Wood working is a form of art which no one ever mentions.
No way dude! There is a large and active wood arts community. Just search it on RUclips and you’ll find tons of videos.
People recognize woodwork as art, and have for millennia !
Masterful, your eye to detail and your craftsmanship is outstanding. Who ever taught you your skills should be proud. What a show off 😜.
Great lines. Sharp, clean, gorgeous. A really smart blend of Rustic and Modern !!!
Fantastic work and the structure of the wood looks very beautiful.
Thanks for showing,
Greets from germany
If I ever win the lottery I will have my own wood workshop.
It's really not that expensive to get started in woodworking. You can do a lot with a few hand tools, a power drill and a circular saw. Obviously you won't be able to build quickly, but if you a tool here and there over time, before you know it you will have a very nice shop.
It's obvious to both the novice and pro alike that the skill level presented is top notch. My actual comment is this. Hour upon hour condensed into mere minutes. Most of you tube could learn most everything about a presentation. Both types of work speak for themselves. By the way I am not much for wood working. You had roughly 10 to 15 seconds to get my view. My edit. Smart enough to leave out music as well.
Love how wood comes to life once you add finish. Beautiful table.
Love the way you clamped the mitered corners!!

I appreciate your experience and your life!
That's amazing . Those dovetail are a nice touch.
Impressive job...👍👍
Wow! I learned a lot watching your video. It is amazing that I always thought I needed to buy fixtures and special tools to get the results you are able to do by hand. You have really helped me gain confidence in trying some new projects. Thank you very much!
Not too shabby! Great chisel work,
Really beautiful table. I really miss having my tools and a garage to work in 😣
Nice. I can definitely see that in a safari lodge hotel in africa. 👏👍
Wonderful craftsmanship great to watch
Congratulations, you’ve just advanced your Construction level. You are now level 25.
Oak tables are level 22, we all know flotsam prawnbrokers are the best.
@@jameshall4136 cyan: reading the uploaders comment "we are at a very low level in carpentry" and yours now and editted my comment xd (original comment said level 93 for anyone who cares)
Good job bro 👍👍🙏🙏
I'm a fan ! Very nice work. BEAUTIFUL !
Sweet. Nice job.
Your works is amazing!
As always - Japanese masters are the best. No comments. Art of carpentry.
Amazing craftsman. A beautiful piece. Magnificent!!!
I dont see why this video has so many dislikes. Fabulous job. I am very impressed with your miter cuts using a handsaw and that jig for your table saw! And of course the end product. Great work!!!
All these armchair woodworkers upset he didn’t use a track saw or Festool dominoes. 😂
Great work with the tools you have. Love the corner dovetails!
@@pazi402 that's not a dovetail joint.
because he is a butcher, not a carpenter
Amazing workwood 👍🏼l love it!!!
The table looks beautiful. Fantastic job 👍
I like making anything from wood. This video show me more ideas for me. Thanks for sharing !
Amazing and excellent craftsmanship
Excellent work and excellent philosophy!
WOW absolutely beautiful. Thanks for letting me watch.ya know this changes everything incredible.
Now I know why I'm so useless in my woodworking shop: this guy has all the talent!
And tools
Hahaha
He actually wasted a lot of time sanding and sanding paper. If you had just made a sled and used a router to level out your 2 pieces, could have wasted much less time.
There is no tongue and groove technique so this is just modern cheaply made wood working. But hes good at this.
That is an absolutely beautiful table and it's really really nice to see somebody that can still use joinery to hold something up together instead of using screws in that or nails what a wonderful job that you did and a really good choice of wood combinations to bring out the beauty of of the each of the wood species
Amazing work! Congratulations!
Good job your a very good woodworker

As always...beautiful.
You have the ability to make it look so easy. That's the sign of a true master.
An interesting way of strengthening a mitre joint and making it decorative.
Amazing wood work and rally valuable...

Very beautiful low table with a nice original idea of the framed end leg. The wood used (I don't know that species) is absolutely stunning.
You are a beautiful soul because you love the tree- that living being.
God bless. Greetings from France.

Beautiful Job!!!
This is amazing! This guy is an artist! I don’t think anyone would understand how hard this is unless they’ve actually tried it!
Wonderful work

Man this is awesome, this was fun to watch. It was educational, at the same time helped eased my nerves. Keep up the good work. You have brought carpenters and ASMR audience together, and inspired younger generations. Looking forward to the next project. Going to subscribe now.
Very solid construction with artistic details. Precise and minimalistic. Nice!
Beautiful work, I used to be a blacksmith when I was younger and loved being creative with metal. Your work makes me want to be creative again. 👍
