This was so fun to be a part of! Thanks for allowing us to be part of it, and make sure to follow where it goes next! :D Originally we wanted to do something extra like LEDs or maybe make a small diorama on our side, but since there are going to be prints which it wouldn't translate to, and it's gonna have to travel a whole lot more, we found the risk was too big and therefore we stuck with just painting! @@pumpkinqueen3776 I kinda felt like that at first but as they went on I realised just how much they had managed to pull the piece together towards something looking complete. The lighting from the UFO is awesome and the simple act of adding the dark blue gradient on the other side made a huge difference to making it look like a cohesive piece. In my opinion obviously.
I think now someone needs to write a story for all of this!

Sorry dude but your contribution looks a bit bland compared to everyone else. I know you can draw really well, so I would have loved to see you come up with a better concept where you mix your drawing style with spray painting!!! Instead you just did some graffiti art which was pretty safe, and not really pushing the boundaries of your abilities like everyone else did!

@@snoriethegreat5066 he has a great style... but I would have liked to see more from him. The idea is to collaborate on a piece. To grow a story/art piece one artist at a time. Writing respect pin the middle seems lazy and not fitting. At least he will challenge the next artists. It’s going to be hard to balance the right and left side of the panel. and let’s be real.... not amount of lettering can equate to the other elements.

love what she did but yeah a dragon would have been iconic
Personally, the added cohesive background really pulled this whole thing together. Whilst the previous artists did great art, it looked too ‘individual’ since the edges didn’t fit. Now it doesn’t look like a random wall with graffiti all over it. It looks whole now.
The contrast between their hard, crisp lines and your soft, feather-like painting almost gives your part a sort of... like your part is being imagined by the other characters in the painting. Which is interesting, because the others are already so fantastical.
This is totally awesome! I absolutely love the little detail of connecting the green tube to the brain of the other character! It is such a small detail but I absolutely love how it brought the pieces together more. And to those saying she took up so much space, she really didn’t. Her actual character and scene doesn’t take up much more space than any of the previous additions. It just seems like more because she extended the background for a more cohesive look and color matching purposes.

There is so much going on in the painting but now that you painted it it looks all really put together. You're all are crazy talented artist.
I loved the spirit of the forest version, with the little dog on the hat looking at her, and the trippy trees in the background
I love the addition of an environment to the piece, a lot of people get wrapped up in the figurative end of it and forget that places objects in an environment is just as important. good job!

Before you even drew designs out I was like "FLOATING DOG/CAT!" and then you did a space dog and I was like DKHASIUDHIUAHFIHFIH!! I just felt the main character could use a companion! and you chose to do that so that was exciting for me ahah. ♥
Holy crap!!! Omg! I was just binging your mural painting videos the other night. And that original video of 10 Hundred's popped up on the collaboration painting was in my suggestions. I didn't watch it, but the thought popped in my head, "wouldn't it be awesome to see Martina add her touch to the collaboration!?" absolutely loving seeing you working in that specific color pallet! Her section isn't much bigger than doke's and adding the background tied it in more.
i mean tbh the canvas was way to small to start of with. i knew from the beginning with ten hun doing his part so big that it isn't going to fit them all on. there's at best one more person to fit there work on. i love ten hun and his creative vision but he kinda set the benchmark for size and everyone else followed suite. he should have done his piece half the size and stipulated everyone else do a piece of similar size imo. i mean he's basically taken up a 1/4 of the piece himself and put his art right in the center leaving everyone with just a small slither of periphery to work with. wich is fine it's his idea but he didn't really think this through very well lets be honest.

@@louiseb6111 yeh i know but that doesn't change the fact he wasn't going to fit that many artists on it to begin with. he should have kept it to a minimum chose a bigger canvas or made his piece smaller considering how many artists he envisioned working on it. biggest "art collab" is tiny
@@smolwavingsnail9028 to be fair, ten hundred didn’t really know if this would work or not, it could easily have got stalled or damaged somewhere or the idea might have just totally tanked… I think it’s great.. and now they know it works, maybe they will do it again (I REALLY hope so!) and they will make adjustments accordingly to image size, canvas size or whatever with the lessons learned from this one…

After I watched this video I went to see Alpay Efe and started to watch his vids. Two and a half hours later, and I just want to say, THANK YOU! Having him in the collaboration is going to be awesome.
When it's all done and ready to make prints, I suggest using glow-in-the-dark ink for some elements. Like the moon, couple of the office windows and whatever the other artists come up with. This should satisfy those that were disappointed by the lack of LEDs.
Hell, the "collab" could continue by those that bought prints with their own personal modifications. Add LEDs or make it a background for their Shelforama™.

I LOVE how your alien doggo-from-space-visiting-earth is sortov' mirroring the colors of Ten Hundred's cool vibes girl - it's like he's her space age animal totem, telling her who to axe relationship-wise in her life, and behead as a voice of authority in her mind! GET IT GIRL, LMAO!!!! I MUST OWN THIS ART when it is complete - I'm definitely getting me a print! Your art style is amazing, BTW - I have no idea why I hadn't found your channel and wasn't subbed before... but that's fixed now.
Such a cool idea for a collab and you did an AWESOME job with your piece, love it!! Very seamless integration and absolutely the right choice in my opinion :) When you were sketching and I kept seeing the space dog, I kept saying "The dog! Keep the dog! Martina, the dog please!" haha (I have two dogs, so a bit biased hehe)

I've been loving following this collaboration! Though a totally understandable circumstance to arrive at, the painting has been teetering on the edge of becoming individual paintings cut and pasted together. Martina, you wrangled it back to a cohesive celebration of everyone's work doing something you're great at-world building. Yes there was a lot of real estate painted in this round of the collab, but just as you showed in your video, it's a painting-its meant to have layers. I still feel you greatly respected the others while contributing a lot. I think it would be so cool to invite a miniature painter to paint some details (like billboards) into the buildings.
Maybe you guys can figure out how to bring this to Displate! Or available for download (of course for a donation) so someone can upload this for themselves to Displate.

This took so long I literally thought it was another lost in transit incident. Thank God it wasn't and well done! I've had a few sketchbooks go missing over the years to the point I stopped creating art but watching other people create brings a glimmer of hope back. Can't wait to see how this progresses.

I just had to watch this video twice... being a Nerdforge subscriber I only knew Martina and Hansi. But after seeing this I was curious how the other artists did their parts. So I watched from the beginning. And I have to say, the stories behind this painting are really interesting! Of course in the end I could not stop short and I just had to watch the „Spacedog in cyberpunk city“ once more...! Dog + cyberpunk reminds me of the game „Cloudpunk“... what a relaxing experience! Anyways, watching the other artists for the first time made me want to see more of them, for sure... So much talent!!
