And she's incredible at it too. Every time I think the painting's done she adds on some additional element that brings it up to another level.

Hey, Martina, do you hate reading instructions as much as me? In the instruction book it says to first "prime" the machine by letting run clear water through the machine without a coffee pad to wash out residue (which makes the coffee taste disgusting). After that, you can brew coffee the "normal Senseo way". The red light is normal and has three modes: - fast blinking: not enough water to brew coffee, fill up the tank - slow blinking: heating up water to be ready to brew coffee - steady light: ready to rock....eh, brew was it! Okay, there is one more mode: OFF! Besides that: WHO WOULDN`T LOVE THIS MACHINE At HIS HOME??? That is - once more - amazing!
Martina, another way to thicken the lines scribed in XPS foam is to wash the surface with a flame or heat gun. The outer layer will shrink and pull back from any cut , scrape or divot, while also giving the foam a sturdy skin, and saving you hours of manual tracing.
I just wanna appreciate the animation of drawing the castle concept design over the coffee machine in real time. That was chefs kiss on an editing level 🥰
Something that would be REALLY cool is to make a magic wand that you can program to active things around your workshop. Like wave your wand and your coffee machine turns on, another one to turn the lights on/off, some other kind of fun things.

If anyone else told me they didn't know what to do with a calstle coffee machine because they already have a coffe machine in their computer... Awesome build again!
The orgin of 10:16 is from Hans Christian Oersted in the early 1800s. He wanted to call his discovery alumium but no one in Europe thought it sounded fancy enough. So he added an "n" and came up with aluminum. But as is always the case, in England, the science community didn't think that this new word was posh enough and they created a more latin sounding word 'aluminium.' Both were used interchangeably throughout the rest of the 1800s, until around the passing of Queen Victoria. Then England phased out the use of aluminum. Which word is right? Both and neither. So use whichever you want.
they were codifying lots of words at that time, the word part 'ium' has a distinct meaning in the scientific naming community. Its all politics, stupid academia and oneupmanship though. hell this isn't too far off the time line of dictionaries becoming commonplace and spelling getting defined - before that you just speld thyngs hoe ye vantd tu. This all happened after the Americas were found, so that's why honestly we have 2 versions of English now. English and Simplified English ;) I think I will show the original discoverer their due and refer to it as Alumium from now on just to piss off both sides!
I read Hans Christian and my brain filled in the last name as Anderson so I was just sitting here wondering what the fairy tale man was doing that would lead to him creating aluminum until I reread it😂
I always figured that the extra 'i' in aluminium was a result of someone who wrote in script and had sloppy handwriting. So no one was sure how to actually spell it, and people just disagreed.
I don't know why but watching this video just made me all warm and fuzzy thinking about just how far you guys have come. Like thinking back to the old days in the basement/garage shops and all the mismatched materials. And now so professional and so many new skills and gear. Glow Up! Also.... the editing... *chef's kiss*
1:06 "I'm not exactly sure how to do all of this. But a good place to start is at least to get a coffee machine" I feel like this can apply to so many projects of any kind 😅
Awesome meme reference! There are so many of those but from now on, every time I see a new one, I'm gonna picture Martina standing floating there behind the other astronaut. Lol
If it wasn’t so far away, I would beg you to sell it to me and send it to the US. My daughter just turned 24 and is STILL the biggest Disney princess fan I know. Each year I try to buy her at least one unique piece of Disney art that she can display or use in her home. Although I get her more “grown up” artwork nowadays, she still has many items from her childhood. What an amazing and unique item this would be for her. So many times I have tried to purchase your beautifully bound books and they are always sold out. But I absolutely adore your work. And, funnily enough my husband and I STILL talk about the awesome Iron Throne phone holder you made years ago. One of your “simpler” items, but so amazing!! ❤️
If you can swing it, take her on a European trip. In Germany is a castle that Disney took inspiration from for his princess castle(s). Neuschwanstein Castle in Hohenschwangau, Germany.
I was just thinking that. It's beautiful but could you just imagine it with a light shining through (from the top?) and the long window having a stain glass type effect for the light to shine through?
If you took off the big stuff on the top and back and just made the tower over the water tank flat, it would be a far more practical design while still retaining the whimsy. You could also store the coffee pods in the tower!
I love your videos. Castle is amazing. Your willingness to learn new things and try them for the first time here. Your attention to detail. Combining different hobby disciplines. While I don't have worry of AI on this channel; Beware of the use of AI. I know it is a tool that can help; but on all levels I would rather have Martina's eye interpretation rather than anything else, perfectly imperfect.
I used to admire Martina for her creativity (still Do) but now I find admiration for her technical/engineering skills. I'm thinking that I must be slow to catch on because artistry and engineering almost have to come along together but realizing something that never existed before in 3 dimensional reality is a masterful accomplishment.
I feel like it would be a great idea to add little unique miniatures on top of the buttons for the machine and have it so you push down on them. I love your works of art a lot!
So, first you build a coffee machine in your computer. Now you turn a coffee machine into a Disney castle. That means there's just one more thing to do: Build Disney castle sized computer :)
nope I say go full life sized disney castle computer - tech from the 70's. VALVES and VACUUM TUBES, none of this modern transistor rubbish ';) also it will generate enough heat to make a lot of coffee. Now that's what I call a smart home, when you live inside the computer.
Martina, I HIGHLY SUGGEST creating a stockpile of your art projects and consider holding a large auction - your masterpieces are something to be collected, cherished and prized - would be incredible to see them all in a museum/gallery setting.
it's a nice idea, unfortunately it probably doesn't meet the hygienic standards, as it's definitely not washable and it wouldn't survive any disinfection...
@carnifaxx ...people wash their coffee machines? o.o I know maybe wipe down the handle and clean the pot, but if the part that holds water doesn't pop out usually you don't clean that. I know hospitals are a bit different, but honestly from household setting never have I wiped down a coffee machine😅~ I think it would be fine? If not perhaps a school for a teachers lounge?? I dunno now I'm curious because usually people only clean the pot but the machine usually stays fairly clean because heated water would keep things somewhat sterile I'd imagine
@houndgirl7365 Usually, if people have hard water, you do need to run a special cycle with mineral remover so the plumbing doesn't get clogged. I also suspect the reason that initial coffee cup tasted awful is because Martina did not do an initial run to clean the machine of any lingering manufacturing oils.
@@houndgirl7365 it surely is different in different countries, but from what I know the general rule is that in hospital things that cannot be disinfected (it doesn't need to be wiped, they also use sprays) are not recommended/allowed. And places with food and drinks have also higher standards than e.g. a hospital library or a playroom. It would be also sad if someone used a cleaning chemical and it started to disintegrate the castle... (Still, I like your suggestion as a concept, that's nothing against you personally, I know your idea is kind and nice, but it's probably better to anticipate and respect higher safety and hygiene standards in hospitals.)
@@fredericapanon207 No, the coffee tastes awful becuase it's a Senseo machine. It originates from my country and it's a whole meme that people would rather drink ditch water than Senseo coffee. If you're used to regular filter coffee that stuff is barely drinkable.
I think a scheduled quartery auction for the projects you need to rehome would be great. That way people can save up and there will be several projects to choose from.

- fast blinking: not enough water to brew coffee, fill up the tank
- slow blinking: heating up water to be ready to brew coffee
- steady light: ready to rock....eh, brew was it!
Okay, there is one more mode: OFF!
Besides that: WHO WOULDN`T LOVE THIS MACHINE At HIS HOME??? That is - once more - amazing!
ah ... and there I was thinking that senseo coffee just tasted disgusting to someone who is used to coffee made from actual coffee beans ;)
I also think this is a lesson that they should test things like the coffee maker before building on them.
@@SentarianaShe did test it once. Maybe just bought the wrong coffee or the residue thing OP mentioned.
@@seregruin or the senseo coffee taste like sh*t.
Martina, another way to thicken the lines scribed in XPS foam is to wash the surface with a flame or heat gun. The outer layer will shrink and pull back from any cut , scrape or divot, while also giving the foam a sturdy skin, and saving you hours of manual tracing.
Great tip!
I just wanna appreciate the animation of drawing the castle concept design over the coffee machine in real time. That was chefs kiss on an editing level 🥰
Martina already reached peak project building skills. Now every video her showmanship is improving, evolving into the ultimate channel!
Something that would be REALLY cool is to make a magic wand that you can program to active things around your workshop. Like wave your wand and your coffee machine turns on, another one to turn the lights on/off, some other kind of fun things.
I love the do it sequence in the beginning and you casually hanging out with yourself later in the video.
Aweseome build, very pretty! Now you need to make a Lothlorien tree that brews tea!
Yes yes, please do this one
"A combination of 3D printing, foam, and cardstock, I realize that sounds awful, espesically if you're new here..."
People who are not new: aw hell yeah this is how we roll
Out of all of them, as a little kid in the 80's, I was into lots of colouring books, collages, sketch pads, etc. My favorite were Jiffy markers, the brown smelt like root beer, the orange was citrus, purple was grape, etc. You get the idea. 😂
Disney + coffee + Martina... it can't get any better
you think disney is the highest it goes? you do realize they lost 4.5billion dollars last year and every single one of their movies bombed last year too. every single one. id rather dreamworks anyday. heard kung fu panda was pretty good
@@BarkerVancity kunfu panda was baaad
there's a new DIYPerks video up today, it does get even better!
I absolutely love the unchecked goblin energy of Martina on the table during her intro!
She's Norwegian, so I think troll energy fits better. ;-) (No, not internet trolls. Proper Norwegian mountain and forest trolls.)
Everything is just gorgeous in this video. Thank you for sharing your creativity!
why did i think the video was gonna be martina turning the coffee machine pc from the last video into a castle
idk
Sameee

She never repeats herself, except to update previous works, or to make v.2
me too 😂😂😂😂
3:05 You guys need a 3D scanner! It would be super useful for your projects because you could scan objects and design from that 3D scan 🤩🤩,love your videos ,greetings from Colombia :D
I think what she did was use her iPhone or iPad. iPad Pro for sure can do 3D scanning because of the laser built in, but the iPhone probably has it too since it uses the FaceID
@@ceoatcrystalsoft4942 any iphones with a lidar sensor can do it so that's from the iphone 12 pro and pro max all the way to now. It's only on the pro and pro max models unfortunately
I love love love love love love love your humor! And i appreciate your art and your talent even more than i love your humor. Sooo imagiiineee!! Well done Martina. I hope you see this comment somehow and it brightens your day. I appreciate you sharing the videos on here so I, from Turkey, can watch it. Tons of love!
Yours looks SO MUCH better than the AI image
The “don’t talk to me before I’ve had my coffee” Disney adults are about to go CRAAAAZY for this one. Amazing work per usual Queen
The slav squat on the table in the first 15 seconds of the video...im soo excited...and scared.
If anyone else told me they didn't know what to do with a calstle coffee machine because they already have a coffe machine in their computer... Awesome build again!
The editing and randomness of this build is just out of this world 😂Vibing in the background while you're building was just *chefs kiss*
Yes
Rapunzel’s tower could totally be a kitchen appliance somehow… container for spaghetti? Utensils?
English and Simplified English ;)
I think I will show the original discoverer their due and refer to it as Alumium from now on just to piss off both sides!
“Use whichever you want”
As a linguist, I cannot stress that enough. Be happy and use language however you want.
@@Sinn_Sevand both were Danish lol 😅
I don't know why but watching this video just made me all warm and fuzzy thinking about just how far you guys have come. Like thinking back to the old days in the basement/garage shops and all the mismatched materials. And now so professional and so many new skills and gear. Glow Up!

"I'm not exactly sure how to do all of this. But a good place to start is at least to get a coffee machine"
I feel like this can apply to so many projects of any kind 😅
Wait, Nerdforge is a coffee channel?
Martina behind me holding a mug to my head: Always has been
Also the "build it" chants 🤣🤣
Awesome meme reference! There are so many of those but from now on, every time I see a new one, I'm gonna picture Martina standing floating there behind the other astronaut. Lol
If not coffee focused, coffee powered
She flew to the US with a fully custom computer. That weighs more and had way more fragile parts.
11:00 I love how Martina 2 is dancing behind her. 😂
Omg the dancing Martina with the sunglasses, 100/10, made my whole day 😂
The dancing Martina in the background had me dying 🤣
The next video that played on my playlist was heavy metal sea shanties and that scream at the end blended way to well. 😂😂😂
"is my name linus or what" is crazy, you should do another colab with them
I only wish the water troff had led lights in it, like a blue to light up the water and show the level even easier!
SO COOL
I was just thinking that. It's beautiful but could you just imagine it with a light shining through (from the top?) and the long window having a stain glass type effect for the light to shine through?
The Scottish 'dis-gos-teng' was *chef's kiss*
maybe this coffee machine would be nice to have in a public place like a library or something? it would fit right in at a fantasy book section
That dual Martina montage made me laugh so hard… great job, great video and amazing product as always. Thank you.
I'd gladly adopt this coffee machine. What a beauty, you've done it again. Another amazing piece!
I really like the new additions in the edit of this video, like the dancing Martina in the time-lapse and the intro into the ad, etc.
Editing as an art-form
A coffee channel? Maybe, maybe not. But a channel run by coffee? 100%
Love to see you having fun!!!
If you took off the big stuff on the top and back and just made the tower over the water tank flat, it would be a far more practical design while still retaining the whimsy. You could also store the coffee pods in the tower!
0:49 ‐ you know what is disappointing? That some people dares to spam an ACTUAL ARTIST's DM with ai generated trash.
You have no idea how proud I am when I see you using the awesome PRUSA 3d printers from Prague ❤ way to goooo
I used to admire Martina for her creativity (still Do) but now I find admiration for her technical/engineering skills. I'm thinking that I must be slow to catch on because artistry and engineering almost have to come along together but realizing something that never existed before in 3 dimensional reality is a masterful accomplishment.
Next up: Building a coffee maker that makes *great* coffee featuring James Hoffmann
She did use a Technivorm Moccamaster in her last project, although the grinder choice was definitely suboptimal
That's colab I would definitely watch
You just end up with a V60 with a fancy grinder.
this is what I was scrolling for. this needs to happen!
I love the Music Video style montage @ 10:45 , while she was assembling things! That was kinda epic, 4th walls broken, kind of mind bending!
So... finally the rocks had taken vengeance for all those times Martina had gone to the wild to abduce them. I'm sure it was an epic fight
I feel like it would be a great idea to add little unique miniatures on top of the buttons for the machine and have it so you push down on them. I love your works of art a lot!
You can probably get an adapter pod for the coffee pot where you can put your own ground coffee in to brew, instead of using the yucky pods.
Next project, retro redesign of soda stream for authentic nuka-cola
So, first you build a coffee machine in your computer.
Now you turn a coffee machine into a Disney castle.
That means there's just one more thing to do: Build Disney castle sized computer :)
🎉🎉Magical coffee machine and computer ❤ Then give it to the local bookstore or library
I second the motion
nope I say go full life sized disney castle computer - tech from the 70's. VALVES and VACUUM TUBES, none of this modern transistor rubbish ';)
also it will generate enough heat to make a lot of coffee. Now that's what I call a smart home, when you live inside the computer.

I love how we have been making so many coffee makers lately lol. I mean it’s only been two but I can sense more coming… ☕️🌸
Idea for the coffee machine, bring it to a local library or something where they have a coffee machine and let them have it
I like the local library idea
The coffee machine came out beautiful. But you know what really captured my heart? The epic soundtrack to this video!
6:02 "why do i always drop stuff, is my name Linus or what?"
I like how you casually grind through that modeling as easy a sleeping
0:18 every artist being sent anything now a days
Martina, I HIGHLY SUGGEST creating a stockpile of your art projects and consider holding a large auction - your masterpieces are something to be collected, cherished and prized - would be incredible to see them all in a museum/gallery setting.
In all my years I’ve never known that the castle has pink walls. Had you not made this video I never would have known. Fantastic job Martina!!!
You’re so talented it’s unreal.
I would use that to make hot chocolate and tea, I’ve also never been a fan of coffee pods…
Fantastic job!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Please donate the coffee maker to your local children's hospital or school. I think the adults there will love it.
it's a nice idea, unfortunately it probably doesn't meet the hygienic standards, as it's definitely not washable and it wouldn't survive any disinfection...
To Hell with disney but this castle coffee maker is EPIC!!!
Wow I love when you do fantasy-inspired stuff over other aesthetics! ❤ amazing work!
