3 arrested in quadruple murders of Careaga family in Kitsap County | FOX 13 Seattle

- Investigators said 43-year-old Johnny Careaga, 37-year-old Christale Careaga and their sons, Hunter Schaap and Johnathon Higgins, both 16 years old, were killed on January 27, 2017.
Deputies responded to their home in the 13400 block of Tenino Drive West in Seabeck after a 911 call for help that Hunter made at about 11:30 p.m.
They discovered the home on fire and the bodies of Hunter, Johnathon and Christale inside. Johnny was found two days later inside his pickup truck, which had been burned.

I'm guessing the loved one you speak of doesn't have a killer getting a slap on the wrist as the ending... Justice is rarely served and when it actually is, it's performed by people with equally guilty hearts. The tragedy done to this family is horrible. This doesn't make the courts saints... Just happens to be their district.

I read an article that the dad was a drug trafficker and was selling the cocaine to that gang. Sad for the kids and mom.

@Daniel yes the reply comment on the surface seems racist, but it’s relation to a common occurrence in media. In my community and others with more minorities, crimes like this immediate get categorized with the names @A Irons wrote. Watching this, it’s surprising because that term “club” has such a significantly less-threatening connotation. So why doesn’t the media call it what it is on this one? One could say racism, one could say other factors, one could say there isn’t even a problem at all.
But we all come from different perspectives on it, and because of that, the media is going to affect us in different ways.
20 million dollars bail! Now we're talking. This shows how long it can take to find out about a crime. Please, please let's not leave any loopholes or strings hanging. All suspects deserve a fair trial and then appropriate sentencing. May this procedure go forward smoothly. May justice prevail, and may peace continue.

The Father was buying a Kilo of Coke, every month, in California, and selling it on Locally around Seattle. A friend of the father was selling it on to Robert Watson ( One of the three arrested). Watson, his brother and Kelly went to the house looking for drugs and money, and killed the family and took over his distribution. Kelly was best man at the Father's wedding, but they had a falling out. Kelly had joined the Motor Cycle club, and was sponsored by Robert Watson. Cops knew Kelly was involved, from the start. A neighbour saw him driving the Fathers Truck away from the scene. The cops then found out Watson was making hugh deposits in bank accounts. It took a while, but it seems an air tight case.

For bikers to be involved there has to be way more to this story. Yes, they kill ppl, but it's rare for them to do a home invasion and quadruple murder out of the blue. I didn’t know about this until just now and I’m overjoyed to think that this family will get justice and that the people who did it, will not go unpunished. Thanks to all the authorities for the job they did locating the perpetrators. I know that you take these cases very personal and that your hearts ache for the victims. I knew several banditos in the past and someone commented saying they usually don't go after civilians and this is true, they usually stay within themselves and do whatever they do, once someone begins having dealings with them there's a risk of something going wrong and they do not forgive and forget. I do not know what transpired between the father and those people but something definitely went wrong for this to happen, this same type of thing happened about 20 years ago here in Kitsap county with a husband and wife who were civilians and they were killed and their house burned down, the people who did it were sentenced to life without though.

When seconds matter - it never fails to amaze me how a 911 call seems more like some application to an exclusive club. If they're 'worried' about wasting their time, then stricter laws need to be created AND enforced concerning prank 911 calls so it almost never happens. Then Police can be on their way immediately while dispatch continues the interrogation.

What people need to understand is the dispatcher answers a call. She is typing in a system that alerts an officer and medical at the same time. It may seem like the dispatcher is doing nothing, but with modern systems they are doing something. You just can't hear it.

He was walking in the door with a pizza when he interrupted the murderers and was shot, they say after the 38 second phone call a pillow was placed over the back of his head and he was shot at point blank range so they were still in the house when you hear that phone call.

@@JosephKulik2016 Got agenda? I was complimenting the Kitsap Sheriff's Department for staying on the case. As noted in the coverage, it took years for some witnesses to provide information. Given the magnitude of the crime and the association of suspects with a notorious MC club, it is easy to surmise that the informants feared for their own safety.
Personally, I'm more concerned about despicable convicted murderers who are set free, usually by Liberals, to kill innocents again. What sickness I see affecting American society today, and I would even agree it is proliferating, though across much of the world and hardly unique to the USA, seems mostly to stem from those actively working to dismantle traditional family norms, lifestyles and values. Interestingly, they seem oblivious to irony when they proclaim themselves "Progressives."

The 2 kids in the picture who were murdered had different last names from each other, and neither of them had the last name "Careaga." News media, please do a better job explaining basic details like this. Were the kids adopted? Who is Krystal? Why did Hunter's biological mom not have custody? What the heck am I missing?

I know a dude was sentence to 2 life sentences plus 30 and he is home now. But it wasn't his fault they over sentenced him to make themselves look tough on crime because he was running for office. I know one kid 18 got life with no parole for his very first crime he was hungry he robbed a guy for 20 dollars no bloodshed no violence at all besides pulling the gun on dude.😞the whole system is completely broken.

The discussion is about biker gangs not old dudes riding bikes together. Tons of vets affiliated with street gangs as well. @@Jblaze024 man, woman, and two 16 year old sons killed, so I’m guessing the parents that were killed each had a son from a previous relationship, the kids had different last names than each other and the man and woman had the same name but different than the kids. So guess the one sons mom wasn’t there, it was her son’s dad and step moms house. Like Boys were step brothers, the woman killed was only biologically mom to one of them and woman in video was other ones mom. I’m just guessing though.
