There is a simple solution to this type of crime. One that NOBODY seems to understand. It is great to have video cameras INSIDE, but you also need to have video cameras OUTSIDE. (Preferably highly concealed.) The bad guys have to get to the place that they're going to rob. Having complete 360 degree covert video coverage of the area surrounding the approaches to potential targets will give police invaluable information regarding the type and description of the vehicle(s) that they used to approach and egress from the target business. As cheap as video surveillance systems are today, why in the hell DON'T BUSINESSES FIGURE THIS OUT?!!!!
