- Parents frightened for their kids, fed up with their government and demanding to know: What will it take to clear out the homeless camp under Seattle's Ship Canal Bridge for good? Parents' pleas were heard all the way in Olympia and Gov. Jay Inslee told FOX 13 that state and local agencies were about to launch a major cleanup effort, but it still may not be enough to satisfy neighbors. The Spotlight also spoke with people experiencing homelessness who have been building their own solutions while waiting for permanent housing. But the result is threatening public safety on highways from Seattle to Spokane. Plus, a fix for the state's police pursuit policy advances in Olympia, but not without some big changes at the last minute.

We are not funding the homeless, we are funding salaries for people who are in the "homeless business", the higher up in the pecking order receives the lion share of funds to stuff their pockets
Governor Inslee. What a joke. He’s the problem.
It's a perfect excuse for these politicians to launder money
These are the same people who voted for this!!! They voted for the "HOMELESS" to be left alone!!
Welp this is what happens when you vote jay inslee
When are people going to learn that "helping" the homeless has turned into a grift! Take any billion dollar homeless fund (SF, LA, NYC) and then see how many six-figure salaries are collected by "administrators". It's a shameful theft of taxpayer dollars by those who are directing hurting the people they're tasked with helping.
Vote INSLEE OUT.
The Homeless Industrial Complex is alive & well.
I am homeless and I don't condone the homeless people who are addicts and leave garbage everywhere and use needles and leave them on the ground. I have good morals and integrity most people have no idea I'm homeless because I keep my appearance up and have good hygiene. I don't want to be homeless I'm disabled and can't afford rent plus utilities I barely get by month to month I want to be an asset to the community and help others have a place to live, it breaks my heart to see people sleeping in the cold weather. Not everyone who is homeless is a drunk or addicted to drugs. We just don't have the money to pay rent.
The nationwide homelessness issue is a collosal failure of our society, and political and economic systems.
Inslee's translation - we have to figure out how to spend the most money before we can do anything about it.
Time to vote the dems out people. 🙄
Thanks to all who voted for ensley 😎😎😎
Why hasn't any principality required all unhoused to be REGISTERED in order to receive ANY public assistance?
Sad thing is these people will still vote Democrat
Make the people in the camps clean up their own mess! Stop relying on other people to clean up after them, and they need to be made to clean up what they did. Hold the criminals accountable for their criminal activity. And those who actually need the help, help them get into housing, and then help them actually get jobs. No more handouts. No free drugs, no more legalization of hard drugs, enough is enough. Stand up and support your community.
$11,000,000,000 is a lot of money !
I have cleaned, voluntarily, homeless encampments in Upper Manhattan, in New York City. It's the saddest thing to see. To see people who have given up, and are just waiting to die, is an image you never forget.
These folks are getting everything they voted for, congrats and enjoy.
Dang I feel sorry for so many who have to live with such lawlessness. Car thefts rampant and the police with no authority to stop it. What a mess
