Jajaja he boiled the shrimp.... You cook it in lime juice.
    Peel & cut into pieces
    Place in bowl
    Submerge in lime juice.
Put it in the fridge until cooked by the acid...
No mámes. Estó no es ceviché

Thanks for the great advice! I'll try your way next time! Ceviche is not a traditional dish in Jamaica but I love it and I wanted to introduce it to my Jamaican viewers who are not familiar with the dish. Also, if you didn't know, Jamaicans cook everything because we have a phobia about uncooked food and I'm trying not to scare away all my Jamaican viewers🤣

@@ChefAliCookingShow that makes sense that you boiled it then. Sorry for criticizing without knowing about Jamaicans food phobias.
If you try the traditional way. You'll know when the shrimp is white. Not transparent at all. I just wait 2 hours or by the time I prep everything else it'll be done.

No problem man! I’ll try that, I trust you, no transparent that means cooked in my book🤣👍🏾

Thank you for watching! In the Jamaican culture we cook everything because of our food fobias but I wanted to introduce ceviche to my Jamaican viewers and show them how delicious it is if they try it🙂👍🏾

Thank you for the suggestion my friend, most Jamaicans will not especially on the island but there are a few that will give it a try🙂
