- What's good, everyone?! Today's video features a one-of-a-kind restaurant that was local to the Hilton Head, SC community. The Steamer Restaurant was run by one man for 31 years. Based on what was left behind, this building used to house a seafood restaurant that also offered wine and alcoholic beverages. It's always sad to see a locally owned and operated chain close, thus removing a little of the class and character of the area. However, with as popular of a tourist destination as Hilton Head Island is, I'm sure that the building will find a new owner somewhere down the line.

It's just sad when iconic places either fall apart or close. I know how that goes.

Owner said retirement on that letter, but I also know that finding staff for restaurants in places like HH was very difficult during this time so he might have had no choice.
You should do a update on toys r us North Charleston I heard a store called hamricks was taking over the building
