  • How to / How We Pressure Wash pool cages - Black moldy and green algae screen enclosures! We're a Pressure washing Company in Cape Coral Florida - Amazing Home and Commercial Maintenance AHCM - in this video you'll see us cleaning a 2-story pool cage clean. this process consist of us first spraying our solution which is a mixture of chlorine and water that attacks mold algae bugs etc. almost instantly killing and beginning to eat up mold and algae and quickly killing unwanted bugs such as ant , spiders , wasp etc. this is great for pool cage cleanings / screen enclosures cleanings as it not only kills the mold algae bugs but prevents them from quick return, unlike using high pressure water to clean where mold algae bugs are never killed bugs quickly return usually in a couple days and mold and algae within 6 months. however, with our solution you can expect a lot of long life of staying clean, for bugs usually months before returning and for mold and algae usually few years before algae and mold are able to return! once our solution is sprayed onto the cage / screen enclosure we then leave to sit a few mins than rise removing all mold algae bugs and other debris. this process is continued throughout whole job and does an amazing job with no chance of hurting any screens whatsoever as this is all done with low pressure! this is a Quick 1min Version. see description for full video version. for those interested in doing the cleaning themself you can easily do it! you will need at minimum a garden hose, preferably a nozzle that spray in a stream like way however you can just stick your finger in hose end to create a more pressurized stream. next thing you'll need is a pump sprayer (weed killer sprayer), you want to use this with water and 12.5% liquid chlorine (pool chlorine). mix the 12.5% chlorine with water 50/50. now if there's any part that's most important it's this, when you spray your beams only do one beam at a time then rise. this is vital as strong dose of chlorine can burn paint off (meaning it'll just start washing off) this happens when solution is left on too long with too high of strength. we do not worry about this and soak whole cage first than rise because we're using a 20/80 mixture however you have to shoot stronger as you will not be able to shoot same volume of liquid using a pump sprayer so to have same result, you'll want to up your strength. if you're afraid of hurting your cage you can do the 20/80 mixture, but chances are you'll have to coat multiple times. after solution has been apply and rise it'll look brand new again!
