RAV4 BY A COUNTRY MILE .RAV4 IS THE CLASS LEADER .❤
After driving both last week, the CRV Hybrid by a country mile. Substantially nicer inside and out and drove that country mile on a much higher quality chassis and far more comfort.
Am loving the Honda design direction than the allover the place Toyota's,hence am for the Crv
bought the crv touring- RAV wasn’t an option because they cannot get them in this region
I wonder how many people consider safety of hybrids? 1st responders must identify that it's a hybrid and then they must disconnect the hybrid battery before invasive rescue efforts like the jaws of life. Also they're way more expensive to repair. Full electric saving the earth is a fraud much like the democrat party.
Not sure why the hate about not having an all digital display. Personally, I *like* the analog speedometer a lot and praise Honda for including it.
People just find something to complain about. -lol
same here i like the analog
The analog gauge looks better at night, too, unless the digital gauge is something like an OLED screen with inky blacks.
Several reasons:
1. It’s done purely for cost savings
2. You wind up with a smaller digital screen.
3. A smaller digital screen offers fewer options for different content that can be displayed. Look at the different information VW offers in the full digital display on the Tiguan
@@roch145 My response is simple:
1. Who cares, given that I like and prefer it?
2. Who cares? There is already way too much digital screen on cars anyway, with the tech being what breaks down most frequently.
3. Who cares? The car can already display more than enough information, much of it useless, to be very distracting.
Just bought the 2024 version (non touring) - wow what a car!
200 miles on my 2023 sport touring is everything I hoped. Comfortable, quiet, fun to drive. Looks great. Love the infotainment system. Paid MSRP with three weeks for delivery. The only neg is lack of built in garage door opener. Happy new Honda owner
When you talked about msrp, does it mean they took out package options or you still got package with msrp? Thanks
What's your actual mpg so far?
@@T-rick 34.6 mpg commuter driving
@@LanceRomanceF4E very nice! Can you confirm this vehicle comes with no spare tire? Was that a concern during your decision?
@@T-rick yep, no spare tire. Not a concern since I haven’t had a flat tire in 20 years. I carry a can of tire form spray that will fix most small leaks, enough to get safely down the road for repairs. You only need a spare tire if you do a lot of off road driving and/or live in a remote area
Thanks for this overview. Just purchased my 2023 Honda CR-V hybrid over the weekend and I'm in love.
Picked up a sport touring at MSRP, I actually really like it. It feels refined not cheap like Hondas of old. They are trying to punch above their class here and bring in some of the people looking for a luxury SUV.
Left your wipers to clean are change them. Be careful you will chip to hood. Also how is your radio working? smh 5600 miles so far! Love it besides.. Going into to aux mode killing my battery..
How is your mpg? I’ve seen many people say the sport touring mpg isn’t what Honda states 34/40 I’ve seen people getting 27 mpg
@@erickhurtado8162 We have heavy feet and still get 33 mpg. If i drive the speed limit in town. I can pull 47 out of it. Interstate driving at 60 is 38 mpg at 85 32 mpg. Still way better then our MDX.
@@JohnPierrotti I got the 22 civic si and I pull 41-43 mpg on avg! On the Highway and city I get about 34-35 I’m getting better than a crv hybrid 😂
@@JohnPierrotti I have no idea what you said
I own exactly the same trim 2023 CR-V as on this video, got mine among the first one's back in December 2022, and I got to say, that current Honda built quality has disappointed me. Paint coating of the inside portions of the doors is so poor, that I got corrosion in 4 months old car! This is unacceptable! Went to my local dealership to claim the warranty repairs. While they were fixing it, I've been curious and went on their lot to check a few brand new CR-V's for the same area, and unfortunately, same poor coating and uneven gaps on the hood/fenders area, the lift gate and side panels as well!
And lastly, what the service department manager told me about those findings, shocked me! His words exactly " It's okay for the mass production vehicles"
Previously, I had spent hours on the phone with the American Honda call center about this issue trying to get someone in the quality control management, but unfortunately they've said that there is no such one, so that's probably why Honda manufacturing going down in the quality I guess? So sad experience. Beware, and check on those things at the time of purchase!
My parents own the Sport trim, which in us it's the Sport Hybrid, but in Canada, it's the same engine as the EX-L and EX, which has the 7 Inch screen, Power Tailgate, Roof Racks, 18 Inch black rims, they like it, and they have no problems with it, but they gonna trade it in in the next 4 years.
I test drove the Hybrid Sport last week. The exterior looks proportional and the interior looks elegant. What I have issues with are: 1. No spare tire. 2. No panoramic sunroof. 3. No power tailgate lift on the Sport. Have to go up to Sport L. 4. It's just really dark in there with the black seats and black ceiling. It might just be a personal preference, but it makes me feel closed in and depressed. (Try painting your living room walls and ceiling all black and you'll know what I'm talking about!)
To each their own, no of those are a big deal imo.
This is a eco family car and not a luxury suv.
@@denko44 Doesn’t have to be luxury. The spare tire, power lift tailgate and light colored ceiling come standard in most vehicles. The panoramic sunroof would be more of a luxury item. I have a 45 min commute to work so I’m in my vehicle at least 2 hours every day after making other stops. That’s a lot of time to spend in something I’m not thrilled about.
I happen to think 37 MPG in a full size crossover is pretty damn good.
I ordered this exact model in this exact color month ago. Was supposed to arrive in February. Now they're saying the first or second week of March. Hope it's worth the wait.
Huge improvement over the previous gen. I just wished Honda gave it the bigger infotainment screen and full digital cluster. I’ve seen a couple of the non-hybrid trims on the road and I think they look handsome.
Ill trade in my Honda in 7-8 years , you trade in Kia ..... let me know how much you get in your trade in. Guaranteed I'll get much more.
A kia 😫is lucky to be running in seven years.🤞.. And if so has probably had a major repair.. A Honda will go over 2 decades and still keep going..👍
Nah toyota is better
@@charlesjackson1700 my kia spectra is still running fine 2k km/month after 8 years bought used for $1000

@@charlesjackson1700 my kia sportage 2014 still at top notch… new generation of Kia are actually at continental level
@@charlesjackson1700 da aww
Were you able to deep-dive and investigate whether the new generation's engine is not prone to oil dilution?
Good, honest review.
Solid review. Good intel. One additional downside for Honda Hybrids: the spare tire & jack are replaced by fix-a-flat kit. Not a fan.
I have the base Sport model. I really like it-it’s well built, rides great, and the safety features are awesome. Two things stand out to me that I’m not crazy about. The interior is completely black (would have liked some grey, at least on the ceiling) and they brought the windshield much closer to the front passengers. It feels a bit claustrophobic.
I sat in one the other day and did experience that claustrophobic feeling-I am 6’3” and kind of attributed it to that-but had plenty of leg room and driver’s seat was comfortable… as soon as I read your post about the glass being closer-I think that was it… that coupled with the dark environment… had the opposite feel of being airy.
Completely agree
Less features for only $10K over MSRP at my local dealers! What a steal
i had a plug-in hybrid and hated it! love the switch to a full hybrid option. The problem with Plug In was, once the battery is drained, you have an underpowered car with extra weight! Love my new CR-V
i can see that for sure
Hmmm I didn’t think about the extra weight issue. I thought it’s a good compromise between ice and ev. Did you try driving just in hybrid move instead of just EV? I would assume battery would last longer then than just driving it in EV
I brought the 23 EX AWD. This thing does what it needs to do. Sure it doesnt have the power and the mpgs of the hybrid but works for what we use it for and worth the price difference.
It's okay the 23 AWD hybrid doesn't have the MPGs of the hybrid either. You saved some money.
They should have went with a 2 liter in the gas versions but as you said, they are trying to push customers into the hybrid versions. A 2 liter with 220-250 hp would have been a solid performer and a big seller.
why do you need HP for suv like crv? It still have 204 HP, the torque is quite an oomph for the hybrid, that is all the matter! Even upper level suv like Nissan murano only have 240 torque vs crv hybrid of 247 !
The Hybrid Sport Touring only comes with an AWD powertrain. (AWD E-CVT - w/ 2.0L L4 with 2-Motor Hybrid System (Included))
Drove the Sport Touring the other day and was going from 60-80 on the highway. The engine was pretty loud when you hit the accelerator to get up to speed.
I noticed the same thing.
I have to say, I actually find the "lack" of certain (IOW, Luxury) features refreshing. I like that the CRV isn't pretending to be a luxury car. And if it's luxury you want, Honda will gladly point you in the direction of your nearest Acura dealership.
I just feel like putting a lot of these features in these cars has spoiled people into expecting "mainstream" brand to sell luxury cars now. Like, I look at a loaded Kia Sportage that these reviewers seem want to compare the CR-V to and all I see is a Mercedes GLC knockoff made by a company who (granted, has come a long way) still has a reputation for being not as reliable in the long term as other brands.
RAV4 will do and give better without pointing you to a lexus dealer
@@lucky889s9Yes, and it's clearly NOT a Lexus just from the ride and material quality inside alone.
I do wish they offered more lumbar support than they do. I just want to be able to get my spine out of a C shape for longer drives. I added a thin additional lumbar pad but it cancels out the nice heating on the back that I like so much and it is hard to keep it positioned nicely despite the elastic straps it has. I do dream of separate controls for the heating in the base of the seat and the back and it wish the heating went up higher on the back. I am not using it for warmth, as you probably can tell. I would like to be able to turn off the bottom part.
Can add a 7th Worst thing to the list especially for Canadians. You can only get the Hybrid on the highest trim where the Rav4 the hybrid is available across all trim levels.
What's the dealer invoice on this thing?
It does have heated rear seats. At least my 2023 CRV EX-L does.
Your $2000 price gripe is in the US. In Canada the 2023 CRV EX-L rose in price a whopping $3300 from the 2022 CRV EX-L!
And we Canadians need to start pointing out the “ outrageous “
freight charge too of $1950 for a car manufactured in Alliston Ontario CanAda. Go figure!
Honda Canada you are killing us. Freight in the US for American buyers is around $1200 last I checked.
Other than those points this was a good and comprehensive review.
Keep up the good work.
Go Ni.
They really screw you guys on pricing .. it seems like on everything !
Pretty sure they will add ventilated seats, 360 camera etc at the 2 year refresh...
Awesome video man.
Would you do the same on the Honda Passport? Thank you
Will do what I can!
CRV has a Plug-in variant 'overseas'? where?
I have this in the non hybrid version and the only thing I don't like is the tiny gas tank. Only get about 300 miles on a tank of gas.
Or maybe it's a gas guzzler at 1:7 km per liter
@@lucky889s9 I think it's a combination of small gas tank and not that great gas mileage.
I am absolutely missing any comments on the infotainment !! What threw me off, having the model before this one (EU version), is: no voice control for either phone or navy - which is present in much cheaper cars - and the clumsiness of using either touchscreen or steering wheel controls while driving. Just try to type the name of a place, or scroll through a phonebook of 300 entries - while I can just speak an instruction for both to my android phone - and presto ! Why can Honda not simply provide a passthrough for that ?
AMAZING
Rav4 does everything better + provides much more features 🙂
And are u out of your mind ???
U r comparing bz4x with crv !!
Rav4 can tow upto 1500 pounds
AGREED
The side by side comparison rates the Rav 4 as 3* compared to 5*. It shows the Rav 4 failing the off-road test as well. I wanted the crv and was interested in getting my daughter the Rav 4. Don't know what to do now.
Do hybrid cars last as long? They’re the ones with batteries right? My brothers prius batter was going bad after 10 years. I want my car to last longer
My inlaws 2007 perius was still going strong in 2019 until they traded it in for a RAV 4. Same battery.
Love everything about my sport touring. 34 on hwy? Try 37-38 & up. I will not own a straight only electric vehicle. I’ve researched & most car people say hybrid, electric doesn’t have near enough range
electric cars are just a hassle. it takes around an hour to charge at a station. all of that adds up in a year. These hybrid SUVs have 478 mile range on a single tank!
Is there oil dilution in the new models?
Probably not on the Hybrid since the 2023 now uses the 2.0L non turbo. The oil dilution was a 1.5L Turbo issue.
Beautiful 👌
I have the previous (2018) CRV. I like everything about it apart from the noisy CVT transmission. I wouldn't buy another car with a CVT, although the CVT in the RAV4 I test drove was noticeably quieter.
Drive a new 23 CRV. Reviews say it’s the best cvt on the market. I agree
Actually doesn't have a CVT. Marketing calls it a e-CVT but that's "marketing" dumbing it down for buyers. Honda's set up is essentially 2 direct drive transmissions depending on vehicle speed. Direct drive is what you find in a traditional EV.
Enjoy your new Lumberwagon!
WE GOT THE BASE MODEL HERE IN CANADA FOR AROUND $43K FWD AND I AM FINE WITH WHAT IT HAS ... MORE FEATURES MEANS MORE BREAK DOWNS ... I BOUGHT BLACK RIMS FOR IT FOR $700 SWAPPED THE STEEL TIRES TO IT AND GOING TO USE THE STEEL RIMS FOR WINTER LATER. LOOKS AND DRIVES AWESOME
No 360 camera, no spare tire, only a half digital tachometer, ex and sport don't come with blind spot monitor anymore. I canceled my order the day after the accord hybrid came out. Imma stay away from Honda till they get their act together or charge WAY less.
Do '23 Honda hybrids come with a donut spare? Or just a tire repair kit?
Tire repair kit, and stock rubber isn't run flat (if that was a consideration)
I like it, just reallllyyy hurt when he said it doesn’t come with a pano roof! 😢😢😢😢
They have actually released a Gas LX model.
You can lift the area in the trunk the space is just for the battery though 5:30
Too many unfair compromises with features. Honda has this pay more to get less thing going on. Rely too much on brand loyalty and not staying competitive enough to aim more Millenials and Gen Z buyers.
You seem to be saying what everyone else is thinking. Paying a lot for very minimal.
Exactly they're relying on the name now hopefully it doesn't get worse and they go the subscription service route.
Would it be fair to say… get your Hondas now before their quality drops?
“Pay more for less” damn. Nail on the head there.
Inflation is the excuse. Real reason is honda wanna squeeze profit to the last drop. Pity those honda fanatics
@Lucky889 S Nah, this Tom foolery been going on before inflation!
I bought the sport touring. So far the one thing I hate is the wireless charger. 90% of the time my phones not charging. Everything else I don’t mind. There are some features that competitors have that Honda left out but at the end it’s a Honda and it’ll hold its value.
I had a sport touring ordered, cancelled it and opted for the model 3. wireless charging works with my thick case everytime.
do you have an Iphone?
Top of the line Hybrid in Canada doesn't even have the HomeLink garage door opener yet we have a heated front windshield - which do you think you would use the most!
Ya the outback has had heated windshield since 2000
I want my homelink!
@@high-techredneck2300 Do you use it very much? I can see a few times it will be handy but a door opener would probably be more useful for most!
In the US, it's a $300 option as well.... and when we picked ours up Feb 1st, the part was so popular it was backordered. At our dealer, we were 3rd in the cue to get it.
it also doesn't have a 360 view camera or blind spot cameras - a civic has those
I have Phev in the Uk.
Charge overnight on cheap rate electric without a special charger. Most of my journeys are done on full electric.
The car can tow up to 1500 kg.
I purchased the 2023 CR-V sport, and I’m already at the dealership with a faulty audio system at 3k miles. On to of this, my gas mileage averages 27 MPG…. I love Honda, but this experience has made me realize I’ve made a mistake.
You're driving it hard as hell if you're only getting 27mpg. Just got 52.5 on my last commute (roughly 25 miles) and never dropped below 5mph over the speed limit on any road.
Overpriced where is the cool seat? Panorama sunroof? Led turn signal in the back? Full digital display?
It only tows a thousand pounds? So it might just tow a trailer and tractor.. depending on how many people Or other things.?
I have CR-V sport base model and it turned out that I don't have a blind spot monitor.
How does it compare to Highlander Hybrid at a lower trim? I dont think there's a huge price difference. I test drove all 3, found Honda to be as drony as Toyota Rav4. It rides a little better than Rav4. But not a great hybrid Imo. I would buy a Highlander hybrid for a few grand more and a reliable & proven hybrid powertrain.
Bring your money!
That rear cargo floor doesn’t come up because that’s where they keep the batteries. So the CRV Hybrid has no spare tire. I just bought a 2023 myself.
I don't quite care about the infotainment screen, I think that size is reasonable.
But no 360 camera is a huge disappointment. It really helps with parking in tight spot. Nissan Rogue has been having it since like 2016. And in general, Honda's parking camera is not that good to begin with.
And the pano roof is another big miss, but not as practically important as the 360 camera.
And another thing, not sure if CRV has it, but Civic doesn't have it. That is the ability to lock your car doors with the remote from outside the car while the engine is on. This is a huge hassle in practicality.
Over the last 31 years, I've owned and loved 2 Honda Accords and one Acura. Put more than half-a-million miles on them, and handed them down to relatives, who put tens of thousands of more miles and more years on them, then sold them! But as I've gotten older I need more help parking and handling a car. No 360 degree or front-facing parking camera was a deal-breaker for me. A second deal-breaker was the dark interior. I live in Florida and a black or dark interior is a terrible idea. During our nine months of summer, a dark interior only helps to heat up the car like an oven. And while heated seats and steering wheels may be a selling point in the northern parts of the US, in the deep south and southwest, they're irrelevant. What we need is features that keep our cars cool. And black, dark, or gray interiors are depressing as hell to boot.
I don’t know what is happening now days with car manufacturers, it’s like they competing why is gonna offer less good and necessary features, they just keep cutting everything on cars but still increasing prices
Hybrid AWD buyers are reporting real-world MPG of 5-10 MPG BELOW EPA ratings. It seems like feedback from FWD Hybrid owners are getting close to ratings but some AWD owners are reporting mixed driving MPG as low as 23! I love the interior and styling but I would have preferred to buy a similar spec-ed ICE competitor and saved $5-10K.
This MPG question is the biggest issue/concern with the CR-V. All the other stuff is fluff.
@Dak Light agreed...another minor complaint...while we love the interior materials feel our family finds the new center console design was a bummer compared to previous gen "mini-van like" center console and shifter. We used to have a 2010 and we loved the flat floor in the front, esp since we take a lot of roadtrips. I can tell you unless you have a 12oz can of soda in cup holder just getting to gear shifter to move from drive to park is a PITA.
I just bought a 2023 CRV sport hybrid AWD. So far I get 34 mpg average. That includes highway driving at 80 mph, and idling for at least an hour a day in drive thru lines (we don’t cook) and school pick up and drop off lines. My trade was a 2015 CRV FWD with 2.4 l engine and CVT transmission that got 24 mpg in the same use. I’m really pleased with the car, the only thing I miss is the camera on the RH mirror the 2015 had.
I have always driven honda cr v touring and what I hate the most is that they don't install a good quality remote starter control, the one they install works but only a few meters away, after analyzing why I don't understand, is it because of money or stupidity?could someone inform me why for the price they sell should have something decent or NOT?
Spend more money!
start saving...hybrid battery will (according to Honda USA) cost between $2,000 to $8,000 at replacement time estimated at 100,000 miles or 8 years
I'm not mad at the price increase. This redesign earns it, in my opinion, unlike a lot of other new cars.
Wanted to upgrade to the 2023 touring hybrid CR-V from my 2020 touring hybrid which I love. I am so disappointed with the lack of color choices for the interior (light tan/parchment no longer an option). Also the fact that you must get the sport to get the touring package is unacceptable to me. I’ll be driving my 2020 until it falls apart.
Somewhat of the same problem here except I don't want to buy a hybrid. I am sticking with my 2016 Touring CRV. I feel like Honda is pushing us into these CRV hybrids to get the top of the line features. I am not going to play.
The BZ4X and CRV aren’t in the same segment so it doesn’t make sense to compare them
My Canadian sport touring has heated rear seats.
No dice on the American version, at least not standard. And no heated windshield either.... maybe that part of 200-500 price difference (after exchange rates)
My sister just bought the Sport hybrid- great car- even I fell in love with it- but have to agree- I would step up to the Touring model and there's no ventilated seats, no pano roof, no heated rear seat- all things I require for my purchase. Looked up to the Acura RDX but it doesn't offer hybrid.
I don’t think it’s that big of a deal for a car not having heated seats
What you need is a RAV-4 Prime. A little over $50,000 and about a year wait will get you one. Made to your specs.
I am only getting 33.8 in the city with my 2023 Hybrid. The dealership offered no explanation why. I use the economy setting.
I have sport touring AWD
Those silver “vents” in the lower front end is an eyesore (base models looks better),otherwise all else looks good
They’re actually useful ventilation. Not just decoration. I like it
@@markmason5443 maybe functional but its an eyesore - same with the gli
As a Honda owner, I drove this model. I didn't like the sound when you backup. Your neighbors 10 houses away know when your leaving. I also didn't like the screen size. The menu is very hard to see. My 2017 CRV seems almost as nice. I opted to spend 6K more and bought a Lexus NX350H. It has a 14 inch screen, heads-up display, and doesn't wake the neighbors when backing out of your driveway.
I’m getting a Honda because they hold their value.
One glaring omission on the CRV hybrid: NO SPARE TIRE.
I wish reviewers wouldn't spend so much time discussing "rugged good looks". What about engine blow-by? Do we expect that this new model will have flaws?
Do you think they will offer a panoramic roof, heads up display and ventilated seats In the 2024 model?
Vented seats! I know, like c'mon - Honda put it in the last gen Passport. Killing me here Honda. Pano roof, never again I bet.
In Thailand and Malaysia their 2023 CRV has all of these features Pano Roof, Full Digital Gauge Display, Fog lights, 360 surround view, both chrome exhaust has exhaust tips. Too bad NA doesn't have these features.
@@garnerlibato4887 I heard from Honda Canada that they are producing de-contented models (similar to ones near the end of their life cycle). This is due to parts shortage of some of the items you mentioned.
Honda used to included a passenger side camera when turning, but they de-contented it. I can hope this will be a short model run until they update it. Otherwise it has almost the same features a 10 year old SUV
Money is the key.
It's a car that takes you from one place to another that's dependable and cheap.
No plugin option? Big letdown inmy opinion.
Honda the best power of the World.
Also the mirror camera is removed. That's the worst thing they did to the car
it’s pretty crazy my moms 2013 accord has it and my 2023 hybrid sport crv doesn’t…everything else is great tho outside of a power lift gate
I think the rear looks like a Volvo!!!!
It comes in 5 trims now. The LX
No more LX models
The battery is located under the truck so that is why there isn't acesible space there.
Make it a diesel and i-vtm awd I will buy it.
I don't understand the logic of wanting a plug-in, batteries should be self-charging. As much energy that is being used driving, that friction should be able to regenerate the battery.
Plug in adds additional battery capacity that would near impossible to charge without an additional power source. For many its ideal because battery would provide enough energy to travel (at least) to work if not round trip... and even if plugged into level 1 charger overnight the battery is small enough to be completely recharged. I'd LOVE to be able to buy any PHEV option but in U.S. most mfg only ship to ZEV states... and no dealer wants to sell to an out if state buyer without adding $10k FU markup (since they can).
1:54 because they will totally neglect electric side in the future past. They tend to go out in the wild and shout: we are adopting FUEL CELL! Which , in my opinion is the optimal solution (better than all other petrol/diesel and electric cars).
I priced the hyundai and Kia options. Those manufacturers want market adjustments above MSRP from 4k-5.5k. Honda doesn't charge market adjustments. no one talks about that on their reviews. why?
It’s not the manufacturers that charge mark-ups, it’s the greedy dealers. ALL Honda dealers in MA charge $2-3000 extra on top of MSRP for all models.
@@FirstHandLLC The hyundai had it on the sticker, not a separate addendum. I think it’s fair to assume it was the manufacturer.
added through an edit- In fairness Honda does have their accessory bundle that they do add on- i.e lowjack, tint on front, door guards, wheel locks. etc and so forth. It’s not egregious like Hyundai which is just a mark-up. The car buying process has become very consumer unfriendly. I’ve owned dozens of vehicles and never paid sticker. Typically My sales prices were close to invoice with the exception of my 2004 pilot which I did get 2500 off sticker. Todays buyer needs to realize that these cars are in such short supply, if you don’t like the price and the mark up, the next fellow will take it. Nobody on the tubes talks about these market premiums tho
The rear floor is locked down on hybrid models because of the battery pack in there, although there is still some unused space in under there too.
the hybrid feels faster by far and has duel piston front calipers
Are you talking about the bump when you fold the seats down? It's the same way in the non hybrid version.
@@ZiggieHood no the floor of the trunk on the hybrids, your not supposed to open it but if you were to open it there is some dead space near the back that perhaps could have been used for more storage
2024 will have plug in but for Europe only
You forgot no spare tire. What’s up with that?
There is an option for full LED head up display, and there is option for full panoramic sim roof, and even third seat rows are in option. How com in your country is isn’t available? Maybe you can’t afford that’s why. Just guessing. In uk is also plug in hybrid coming. Or you review pre selling model as for new one is minimum 9month waiting time
What country?
une très belle voiture Honda redgeline avec un bon moteur merci
Malcom Gladwell vibes
No Plug-in Hybrid on this side of the world? Good! Put that on the BEST things list.
Seriously, why would I want the absolute worst features of both types of vehicles? If you own a house, install a charging station because they are *still* few and far between. So there's added cost with an EV. Plus, waiting around for it to charge up every night. But you get the advantage of literally never having to spend a penny at a gas station for fuel. That adds up over time. You end up saving money.
Live in an apartment building? Sorry, no EV for you. But, you can get a hybrid. No need to plug it in every night. So you get that advantage. Performance, not the best on average compared to a full EV. And, you will still need to use gas stations. But, you can save some money over time because you'll fuel up less compared to an old-fashioned car. Okay, can I interest you in a new vehicle in which you don't get either advantage? Still have to plug it in overnight AND still have to fuel up at gas stations. How does that sound? Sounds ridiculous? Yes, yes it does!
Such a cool car, but not enough updated tech
Garage door opener on 2023 Hybrid Sport Touring? Nope. Seriously?!? $425 extra.
WTF..😒
I would love more interior color options….. I HATE those black interiors!!!
Why did they put the exhaust outlets on the front?? Hideous.
Lol!
Terrible. I wouldn’t buy one just because of that. 😂
Wow you're right , I can't unsee it how
A single mpg loss is acceptable as it’s available as plug ins cannot grow too fast. So Honda has a trust and true 2.0 Aktins engine that is bullet proof. 300k with reg oil changes Gar oh teed!
So under powered. How about a turbo 4? Naturally aspirated 6?
They would never, Acura might but not Honda. Would be dope tho.
To me RAV4 is much better looking and has a much better hybrid system !!!! I would buy the RAV4 !!!
Anyone else concerned with no spare tire in the hybrid?
My last three vehicles accumulated over a million kilometres and the spare tire never came of it’s mounting .
No
No. I have been driving for 50 years and have never needed a spare tire.
I have been driving 55 years and have needed that spare tire at least 5 times. What do you do in isolated areas with a flat tire and no cell service? Guess these cars are not used to drive anywhere but the mall or the grocery store.
