I think it depends a lot on what your goal is. If you're training for a marathon and you hit legs and then a 15 miles run, that's probably not the smartest. But you can definitely be strong and do cardio in the same workout, you just need to do whatever your priority is first.
If you haven’t worked out for a long time, and you do a lot of volume in a workout, you might get DOMS. Magnesium cream might help. Or a magnesium bath.
loonatic42 I just moved over to power, I wanna put some size on over Christmas, swole was really good and too my knowledge was ongoing, do you have the app?
Looks like you guys are locking out knees on the leg press...? Doing that will put too much stress on your knee joints, so would not recommend. There’s this “gym fail” video of this guy doing leg press, locking his knees, and having his left knee completely blown out. No a joke - it’s on RUclips.
Just got done with a similar phase of this in the power program. These leg days had me absolutely drenched in sweat
NZ crew checking in.
German volume way to go.
Nicely done
Awesome workout!!! Good to see you both train together again, support from Mexico!!! 💪🏻
awesome work guys thanks for the vids
What do you guys think about the “interference effect” training both cardio and strength in the same workout?
There are a lot of sports where you need cardio and strength at t he same time tho..
i’d say for the most part you’re better off doing both separately but it’s beneficial if you want cardiovascular benefits

Loved doing this workout in the Fitness Culture app. The GVT cycle kicked my ass! Much love.
Great to see you again Steve! Keep Fit!

Are you going to be doing videos on all the functional workouts in the 7 day free program?
I’m currently doing the swole program, who is doing the functional training and would you recommend?
how are you liking the swole program ? how long is it ?

Can we buy the t-shirt from the video? Can't find it on the online store
Gotye... I got you bro...
i lost count how much times steve wear those lululemon shorts
Would you recommend doing the functional program ? or the swole program first
How long did it take you guys to do the work out?
About an hour
Do these guys play football?
Show 🇧🇷🇧🇷
The only real Functional Exercises were the Box Squats, Calf Raises and maybe the Cossack Squat and also maybe the Leg Press.
Bruh chewing gum and lifting makes it better 💯👀
facts!
Steve, sick shorts and hat but please light that shirt on fire
everyone's hating on the outfit. i like it. where can i get a pair of those shorts?!?
Yo Cook. It’s Gotye, artist name. I know what you mean dude!
Is that the real Steve Cook?!
What is Steve wearing😂😂😂
squat is the only functional exercise lol
You’re right the leg press and the leg extension aren’t functional exercises

Solid workout, but this would not be considered functional. The essence of FT for legs is much more unilateral oriented.
Functional? 😓
Squat jumps, stair jumps, pistol squats, wall sit, box jumps...that's functional not legpress
Nothing functional about this workout
