It means you have low standards dude. And that is the problem nowadays, people watch you tube videos and think they are being enlightened so they go and share their stupid opinions online and in person.
Great video! As an Art student but also a lifter I find this very useful when it comes to understanding anatomy and how the body works while in motion. Looking forward to see more episodes.
I'm currently training as a PT and these videos are absolute GOLD. So great for bringing together so many concepts and the teaching cues for these exercises are brilliant. This guy has SO much knowledge and breaks it down in such an easy way to understand because of it's practical relevance. I'm going completely back to basics now with my training, super low weights and will be trying to get these techniques sorted - love this channel have totally subbed!
Mike, I could listen to you teaching all day long. This leg lesson is so thorough and comprehensive, it makes it easy to understand how to shape your legs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
+Logicyo - If it was a woman it would of gotten the most views so people can perv on her ass. Also I don't think many bodybuilders are skipping leg day.. squats seem to be all people talk about lol. Probably the number one exercise I personally hear about the most.. I'm talking about people who at least know a little bit about bodybuilding and not highschool noobs who want only biceps.
I'm fitness instructor/PT and this video is a great overall remind of what is the anatomy of the legs and how it's work for improve your strength and grow up your muscles. Great video!!!
This is the most interesting video on the legs, the most complete I have ever seen. It is very important that the science is covered in depth. Great Thank You!!!
thank you for using the correct terminology and not dumbing it down..... also the tibialis anterior would of been a much needed muscle to talk about since it gives you width of the lower leg when looking at a person from the front....other then that great video and series.
This video is the perfect example of education vs know how knowledge. He sure taught me a lot about anatomy, just to show you four basic leg workouts. It is interesting to see how the body works, but I want videos of secret lifts that isolate certain muscles.
He forgot about tibealis muscle which is in front of your calf, it is important to train it if you want to maximise calf hypertrophy, and we all know that calves are stubborn bastards, so ignoring the tibealis is not a good idea if you want to pack on as much meat as possible to your calves. Which means: Gastrocnemius/Soleus hypertrophy = plantar flexion with progressive overload Tibealis hypertrophy = dorsi flexion with progressive overload
Thank you so much for the quality information taught in a way that's easy to understand and entertaining. I've been needing to learn this for too long and I feel a lot better now that I know. Keep pushing out that knowledge!
I want a Craig to move around for fun. Would've been funny if when the instructor said "go ahead and give me a quater turn here, Craig", Craig just said "No, Craig hungry". Great series, tho. Easy to understand and packed with information.
just want to thank you for the video. Simple. But. Informative. i find it very helpful for anyone who want to built quality body in a gym. no matter if you are a bodybuilder or an athlete. anatomy is an essential part to built those muscles. thanks again!
22:00 - can also use leg press machine after doing presses, put the ball of foot on the bottom of the plate after deloading the stack. Knee's straight and allow the weight to dorsi flex then press back out :) good to do after your quad set.
i am doing full body workout here it my workout 1 for warm up abs 2 calves 3 squat legs 4 Romanian deadlifting 5 bench press 6 military press 7 shoulders super sets 8 pull up 9 dep 10 triceps 11 biceps 12 hammer curl.
I have always known from the few times that I attempted the front squat that it should be the most beneficial leg workout but I still find it difficult to hold the bar close to my neck and I can't go higher weights when I do it. This tutorial had helped me to understand that the front squat position is not comfortable for everyone . So I will go ahead and push for more front squat
Great series. Would've loved to see you explain the front rack arm position for the front squat. More control of the par and better posture, despite it being a challenge if you dont have the mobility. The cross arm position is not ideal
Im learning to appreciate leg day more because i want a over great looking physique dont care about opinions i know its very essential u do legs especially if your in competition i wanna compete one day so i really need to bring out my calfs and overall size in my quadriceps and hamstrings not to mention strengthen my glutes muscles for heavier weights 😤👑🦵🏾🧬🕉💯
Classic deadlift work all the back of our legs. Nothing better for ass, harmstrings and calves. Add lunges for quads and adductors (even if these muscles also work on deadlift) and glut ham raise for the sanity of knees and you have a complete legs workout.
I'd probably recommend doing a clean grip instead of cross arm grip for the front squat. Work on your wrist mobility and you'l find you'l be more balanced and it'l be far more comfortable for you in the long run.
I was really awaiting for such program, being a physician and a gym addict what to ask more to link both, add to this a big fan of Craig Capurso ...👌🏻💪🏻👏🏻👍🏻

For real this channel is very educational
Great video! As an Art student but also a lifter I find this very useful when it comes to understanding anatomy and how the body works while in motion. Looking forward to see more episodes.
Craig, just standing there and relaxing, looks 10x better than I do flexing and posing all kinds of shit lol.

That is a pretty realistic looking robot. :O
he looks like a Mortal kombat fighter!
Hahah
i didnt know they made flesh lights this big
funny how this has the least amount of views compared to other anatomy items. DONT SKIP LEG DAYS U POPISCLES!
+Logicyo
ahahah so true i had to double take views!

+Logicyo I also noticed that, when it is about the legs, anyone want to ignore.
+Logicyo Big legs are bad if you want to do gymnastics moves like planche. Some legs are ok
Couldn't be more correct.
I'm fitness instructor/PT and this video is a great overall remind of what is the anatomy of the legs and how it's work for improve your strength and grow up your muscles. Great video!!!

This man Craig is literally 100% muscle.

Which means:
Gastrocnemius/Soleus hypertrophy = plantar flexion with progressive overload
Tibealis hypertrophy = dorsi flexion with progressive overload
Which exercises incorporates tibealis muscle?
***** Basically, lifting your toes off the ground. Even with untrained legs you should see a muscle bulge between your kneecap and your shin bone.
+Leidenspfad how do you suggest progressive overload with that movement?
Would u use wieght if so how?

I love this type of detail anatomy
Craig looks like when you’re picking a character on a video game and they do random movements
When you said that it begins and ends with legs and so on..... bro I couldn't agree more...
I love this video, this is what I need
these four exercises are definitely the best for whole legs.
