    Just worked through this chapter in the book, and I can’t tell you how helpful it was to hear you talk through it. You’ll get a few more views from me because I’ll definitely be watching a few more times before my exam.

      That’s usually about right for most people. Just concentrate on the key terms from there. People use index cards for memorization, test yourself, anything to keep the concepts in your head.

    These videos have been a blessing through this process. This chapter is very daunting and the hardest yet. Especially on the NASM chapter quiz, they jump to applying all the info to exercise based questions, without taking you through the steps to get their. What would you recommend is the best way to study? Ive done over 100 flashcards for this chapter alone. Thanks and good luck to all who are going through this program!!!

    I'm having the most difficult time retaining information. I'm starting to think maybe I'm just dumb and I enrolled in NASM just to torture myself and not actually to build any sort of knowledge at all.

      This is one of the hardest chapters due to the terminology. I would pay close attention to the words in the presentation that are bolder. Those will be some of the key points that will be tested upon. Take it one word at a time. Exercise Science and the HMS are the hardest part so be patient.

    • @DrJeffWilliams
      @DrJeffWilliams  2 года назад +1

      I would recommend making sure you understand the main concepts. Muscle types, energy systems, planes of motion, muscle imbalances, and muscle actions are some of the main focus points. But truly, the whole chapter is vitally important to the test.

    • @DrJeffWilliams
      @DrJeffWilliams  11 месяцев назад +1

      No. It definitely is. It’s the complete science behind everything. So you need to pay attention to all the major terms gone over.

      This chapter took me the longest so far to fully comprehend. Others before took me only a day or 2, and this took me a little longer than a week.
