LIBERATION!!!!!! It's going to be released very soon but the Developers were super awesome and gave me a few days early access to go ahead and get some content created on the new stuff, and here we go with episode one of a brand spankin' new US Conquest campaign!

Hey thanks for playing! I’m one of the new voice actors for Liberation. We can’t wait till everyone gets to experience the full DLC soon! I will say that a lot of the voices were inspired by movies like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers and games like Battlefield 3 so lots of screams :)
I forgot to keep it in this video but I commented on the quality of the VO in this compared to the old MOWAS games, great job man!

I've had the absolute pleasure of testing Liberation these past couple weeks and it's without a doubt the most visually beautiful and gritty RTS experience I've seen. The environmental details, the models. It's all so immersive and epic! Such an upgrade from the likes of AS2.
Its great, im so excited to keep making more content, its gonna be sweeet
This has been the longest most agonizing wait for a game/dlc... rarely have I been so excited for something that I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas lol

Quite excited for this one. GoH has been a fun experience so far, especially this mode.
Looking forward to the Updates for the german forces, hoping for new paint on the Fallschirmjäger.

I covered it in a recent video, with all the new stuff they want to bring to the game, whether it be factions or an overhaul of the sound (infantry is done, tanks arent yet) as well as new skins etc, it's gonna be great!
Just finished watching. I am looking forward to this DLC, and looking forward to the SP missions. The main thing I'm looking forward to is the new assets to play about with in the editor, making maps and so on, especially accurate Normandy beach defence maps.
The one thing I will nag about is that they've incorrectly modelled the Pointe Du Hoc fire control bunker, it has a big concrete roof on top of the rangefinder position when in real life it didn't, and it's also missing it's earth and stone camouflage. Other than that one thing that bugged me while watching the DLC trailer, rest looks absolutely amazing!

The town looks gorgeous, their artists have done an amazing job, never thought the GEM engine could look so good.
The town looks insane, the new maps really all do, the artists, VO guys, texture guys, everyone did an amazing job on this
When I joined thr Army I hoped my captain was going to be like Winters or Spears but I ended have a CO like Sobel. I was in 101st ABN but in Charlie CO 1-502 not Easy Co 2-506th.

@@theShermanatoryeah an experience and a half. My CO was a west point guy but he did have the Diver badge which is extremely hard to get.
Mad respect to the builder of that chicken coop in the beginning. Took the 50cals like a champ 👍

Been really hyped since they first teased it, which was, what, half a year ago already?
This game just keeps delivering, and this US faction here is just amazing in that regard!
20 new MP and 25 new Conquest maps, plus 16 new missions in total, for sure gives a lot of new content to this game.
This dosent feel like a DLC, more like an big expansion.

I think they both offer very different reasons to play each game, personally still really like MoW2 for different reasons
May I question how many units were added to the conquest?
look at the end of the video, I scroll through the whole US research tree, this doesn't include about 10-15 other vehicles that are part of the Content Update (which is free)

im trying to do the thing that i only do with CTA and that is conquest mode, im so updet because i feel liike americans shopuld of been in the game years ago
Years ago? GoH has barely been out for 2 years, besides, I am happy we are getting a "MOWAS 3" in the end
@@theShermanator lol yeah just two years ago but i feel the americans would of made the CTA community even bigger than what it is now, making the americans a selling point of the game originally would of drawn in way more people than introducing them in a later DLC, if you notice DLCs do not drive new players, its the vanilla content that brings in the waves and ultimately grows a community around that game, just like stellaris did
Looks super good!! but as i''ve said many times. The vanilla game is very empty for its price. They should add content thats free, like factions.
Compared to AS2 which was just a copy of AS1 I think the price for the base game is fair, besides there have been so many 75% sales (iirc?) for GoH that its literally been like the price of a few coffees
@@theShermanator On Sales yes, its worth it. But on full price its way too much for what you get. AS 2 had 4 factions in the base game. GOH has 2

This game is better than MOW 2
I think they both have some strong points, MOW2s really falls in fast and instant PvP, no lobbies, just get in and go, I like that - as someone who has spent countless hours waiting for MP lobbies to fill in MOWAS2
Is the AI better? the amount of micro (/babysitting..) can be annoying.
I cant speak to that, I feel like I got my butt handed to me by the AI in the one I just recorded, but that might also be the maps
The .50 cal sound design is so underwhelming lol

I cant take a game with only 4 factions seriously. I'll go back to Blitzkrieg 1 and play every Nation involved in WW2 with actual Urban maps and thousands more to pick. This game been out for years it has no decent mods or content
I could follow your train of thought with BK1 and the fact it has more content (granted that has been out what, 20 years?)
However when you say there are no decent mods you invalidate your statement and especially when it comes to content.
GoH is (and I will simp for them hard here) made by Devs who actually seem to care, unlike 98% of all other dev studios out there

Can't wait to get my hands on this! First thing I'd do is to play all the mission, then check all the maps and units in the editor and, finally make a mission heavily inspired on the ones we see in Company of Heroes 2, especially that one where you play in the Ardenes as an american mechanized company breaking through Bastogne to send in supplies and evac the wounded.
Unfortunately for me, Steam recently made a lot of changes regarding to pricing and currency. You see, Due to inflation and overall low income, both Argentina and Turkey had their own prices, which were too low compared to the rest of the world, so until not long ago we had enjoyed veeery cheap games. But due to A LOT of reasons, Steam decided to switch the local currency to USD (which wouldn't be a great deal if buying dollars wouldn't be "illegal" in Argentina, at least not by official means) and not to mention the additional taxes.
In a nutshell, I'm dead inside 🥲
I am sorry to hear that man, I do understand that the devs want to be paid for their hard work but it sucks it becomes hard to get your hands on the game now :/
Though I think that's a Steam thing and not just a GoH devs thing haha
@@theShermanator It's definately a Steam thing, they had changed everything into dollars. If it was just the game being more expensive then I wouldn't be complaining at all, especially for GoH which is my favourite game and spend countless hours both playing the missions and in the editor.
For now I'm feeling quite optimistic because Elections happened yesterday and my candidate won, and he's already setting things in motion to get my country back on track... or so I choose to believe (believing in something is still free, my friend)
