Due to current living arrangements at the country place I've had to share the same room as my dad, and that man snores like the engine of a Sturmtiger. Combined with hard labour over several days and lack of sleep, I've yet to recover from the Easter weekend. I may sound a bit tired and sloppy at times, but rest assured, I enjoyed the making of this video. Thanks for watching, I'll be more lively in the next one!
Idk why but every fucking Dad snores like a bear. My dad always snored like crazy (sharing a tent was hell). Pretty much soon as my brother became a dad he started to annoy his wife.
Quality over quantity, dont push yourself and if you need to take a break we understand. Thank you for the great content and I hope you do more of these battles.
I love the artillery effects in this game. The explosions and sounds are so realistic. I’d love if you included some more howitzers or even bisons in a future battle. Maybe even the soviet heavy spgs.Cheers!
The explosions and destruction are so good. When the Stug lit up, it was just like what I've seen from real war footage. Incredible details! Wish more games had destruction and animations like this. Mortar/Artillery hits look phenomenal as well, I like how the debris lingers. Similar to real life in many ways. Great battle Diplex! (:
I just want to let you know the extra time you spent scripting the convoy movement is really well worth it. It looks amazing! it brings a lot of dynamic to the battles
20:16 I remember I've read in some memoirs about the same scene. A b-4 cannon directly hit a tiger at Kursk, the tank was turned into a burning pile of scrap metal that barely looked like a tank, it was annihilated
Forget gates of hell, how about Bridge of Hell?! Good lord this was brutal. Great video, best of GoH vids so far. Loved the close in camera shots. More pls!
You can get your hands on this. But you have to bay call to arms. Not the free version. Than you can play the open beta on steam ( sorry for bad English)
I agree, the new FOV looks really nice. Also really like your recent uploads in general- doesn't matter if it's the russians or germans, but they give as good as they get.
I'm not sure what it is about light armored vehicles but I just love them and their variants, but I realize that they always get knocked out early on. I'm stoked that that Puma survived and put in work on the German side lol.
For the future you can place static units like msg and mortars into fox holes it adds a bit aesthetically and adds some more cover they actually function pretty good in them especially the mortars!
I think you need to figure out a way to make the attacking armor more effective the t34 at the end was a great example that showed they'll spend the whole time switching through shells trying to pick a target till they die when they could've decimated multiple targets already
@chico well having explosives on the bridge would be a safety precaution as if the bridge is captured by enemy hands it can be blown up causing the attackers valuable time and resource to build the bridge
Awesome video as usual but could you turn up the game volume for the next video. It seemed really quiet for some reason. I know it's mostly so we can hear you narrate but I think it could be turned up a little louder and we would still have no problem hearing you.
Hey dude always stoked to see your videos, makes me think that I can play it as well as you do, until I play a mission and get overwhelmed and lose..... but I want to know what band you have playing for your intro’s. I have a feeling we might be listening to the same thing as we play MOW2 aloha from Hawaii
Vehicle AI is still pretty wonky. Has a habit of randomly decided to turn side on towards attackers because it randomly spots an infantryman off to the edge of the fight.
When the game is released can we expect you to upload your work to the workshop? I would love to learn the editor from your maps and scenarios and also show my dad some of your work without commentary and player intervention.
7:10 If i was one of those german soldiers. I would just lay down and play dead. I mean, wtf, who puts 2 dudes with rifles AAAAAAAAALLLLL the way the duck out there. As someone who plays Post Scriptum, i say those 2 t-34's lived waaaaaaaaaaay longer than they should have.
how do you access the map editor??? ive been looking all over and supposedly there's a drop down when you right click it in steam library but im not seeing editor. did they move it somewhere?

Good video no worries diplex :)
Still dishing out amazing content. Thank you for your dedication I really appreciate it!

@@TheJake88231 That's hilarious.

"Finnaly a tank! Now i can take cover behin-"
Poor fella even got a shell dropped on him
I love the artillery effects in this game. The explosions and sounds are so realistic. I’d love if you included some more howitzers or even bisons in a future battle. Maybe even the soviet heavy spgs.Cheers!
That rear guard action was fantastic!

Mortar/Artillery hits look phenomenal as well, I like how the debris lingers. Similar to real life in many ways. Great battle Diplex! (:
This is undoubtedly the most cinematic footage I've seen of this game and we are super grateful for you Diplex
I just want to let you know the extra time you spent scripting the convoy movement is really well worth it. It looks amazing! it brings a lot of dynamic to the battles
16:00 cinematic af. WW2 movie feels
That intro music just hits different
so happy that you are uploading again diplex! could we get a tug of war battle in a town or something? that would be sick!
This game looks so damn detailed it’s incredible
This feels like men of war with extra steps
I think it’s still MoWAS
@@twm0904 it's the same engine
@@Vikingr91 but it’s a different game?
Travis Maxey it’s DLC for Call to arms
@@Leggey ah ok
I think the scripting and hard work put into this video paid off because this was a great video
The carnage and destruction and level of detail is really pleasing
This is quite an impressive game. Great job putting this scenario together I was blown away by all the moving pieces of the battle
Feels like im watching old Diplex. Glad you found a game you actually enjoy making content for. Been watching you since 2016
This makes me all the more excited to play skirmish or vs bots. It's a shame the devs haven't granted us access to that in the beta yet.
20:16 I remember I've read in some memoirs about the same scene. A b-4 cannon directly hit a tiger at Kursk, the tank was turned into a burning pile of scrap metal that barely looked like a tank, it was annihilated
The weather gets crazy here in Sweden in april, it could either be a really sunny day or snowing.
Same in North Germany my friend, really weird :D
Same here in North England at the moment.
Global warming makes every year a little worse/different
Same in southern Poland
Seems like this is common around the world
This is so friggin good, I get movie, saving private Ryan-esque vibes non stop. Great stuff. Finally some more substantial number of infantry.
Forget gates of hell, how about Bridge of Hell?! Good lord this was brutal. Great video, best of GoH vids so far. Loved the close in camera shots. More pls!
What's crazy is that a lot of battles in the eastern front and pacific, looked similar to this. Bodies everywhere and burnt out wrecks.
1 minute , 8 minutes, or 30. Your videos are very entertaining. Keep up the good work ese.
Holy hell... that was a brutal one
That mortar crew started getting really accurate againt tanks near the end of the battle
24:49 Those Soviet soldiers charging trying to reach cover under heavy artillery and small arms fire is so cinematic...
yeeeees MORE YEEEEES love your vids dude
The audio in this game is phenomenal
Aye we glad u back diplex and hopefully to stay a while
Every game: German paks shoot like automatic machine guns,
every tank attacking shoots every ten minutes and doesnt return fire...
Okay, okay, I will buy Call to Arms! You and Shermanator can stop trying to convince me. Installing the beta now!
Hello from Scotland absolutely love your videos 🏴🏴🏴🏴
God... i really want full version of this game!
I like the complexity of terrain.
Love your videos Diplex! You convinced me to get Men of War all those years ago and I can't wait to get my hands on this lol
You can get your hands on this. But you have to bay call to arms. Not the free version. Than you can play the open beta on steam ( sorry for bad English)
@@lavandalunda7328 Thanks! I'm gonna check it out rn lol
Please do a 90 Balkan war scenario that would be cool
Keep up the good work
Sadly, their is no Mods for this game yet. Maybe in call to arms.
I agree, the new FOV looks really nice.
Also really like your recent uploads in general- doesn't matter if it's the russians or germans, but they give as good as they get.
Ah yes, let me use my best friend as cover from enemy fire, that's proper use of soviet doctrine
i mean, you have more comrades than actual cover, so it's pretty logical
@@sztallone415 America has sandbags, Germany has metal armor, Russia has more and more soldiers
The stretchers barbers and Grave diggers would be knackered after that amount of dead and wounded needing collecting.
I'm not sure what it is about light armored vehicles but I just love them and their variants, but I realize that they always get knocked out early on. I'm stoked that that Puma survived and put in work on the German side lol.
Really liked this one, a MG emplacement or two wouldn't have hurt though!
This battle had something special good job
I love your content, keep it up man !!!
27:00 Jesus the shells. That's cool that they don't despawn. hope the tanks don't either after their destroyed like in MOWAS2.
This is so awesome!!! Great Job Kamerad! Greetings from Germany.
For the future you can place static units like msg and mortars into fox holes it adds a bit aesthetically and adds some more cover they actually function pretty good in them especially the mortars!
G'day ,Thank you for a brilliant ww2 Movie!
YES
I really like the water go inside the new mortar crater. Tiny details than reveal great game.
I feel like they used a lot of weapon sounds from the first Red Orchestra, nice video btw!
I think you need to figure out a way to make the attacking armor more effective the t34 at the end was a great example that showed they'll spend the whole time switching through shells trying to pick a target till they die when they could've decimated multiple targets already
For a future video could you try a battle using an increased damage model? I’m really curious to see what ‘hardcore’ looks like in GOH
in irl
i feel like the defending team would have explosives ready to detonate the bridge
I remember when I watched diplex way back in the day I miss the tug of war battles
man i love this game but i have no time to play it. incredible
please we need another Custom Gates of Hell Editor Battle! thanks diplexheated!
That stug really turned the tide of battle. Without it the eoviet armor could hv done so much more damage.
can you do more squad ops gameplay
Awesome scripting!! I loved the beginning of the battle
I cant figure out how to play editor in this game. can somone help me please? :(
glad to know that in Sweden its getting better while in Ireland its snowing
Wunderbar
I like the weapon sounds out of red orchestra.
Do you micromanage the units or do they move and fight on their own?
The AI in this game is refreshingly good.
Vehicle AI is still pretty wonky. Has a habit of randomly decided to turn side on towards attackers because it randomly spots an infantryman off to the edge of the fight.
Nice video! How difficult is it to use the editor?
Why doesn't the water slow down infantry?
Damn tanks did a little only shooting machinegun, thats was so painfull to watch. They ignore stug and AT gun...
Is it just me or are those different death animations cause I’ve never seen them before, is there like an update or mod that I need?
the game runs so smooth.
When the game is released can we expect you to upload your work to the workshop? I would love to learn the editor from your maps and scenarios and also show my dad some of your work without commentary and player intervention.
I will upload every single battle I've made until the day of release onto the workshop so that everyone can study the scripts etc.
man, I really wouldnt want to be one of the dudes stuck in a trench in *front* of the muzzle of a Pak 40. OVERPRESSURE FOR EVERYONE
how did you get editor
can we get a German assault next?
I'm sick of seeing Soviet Assaults :(
The game would be sick with physics. For example if a soldier got shot on the edge of a crater and the body rolled down
Haben wir Spielkarten dabei?
any news on editor release!?!?
Очень круто получилось!😃
Should've counter attacked and annihilate that soviet gun.
Those germans @21:32 were going for the Iron Cross to the death, one way or another! Thanks DiplexHeated!
The game is looking good. Though I hope they can implement better and more realistic building destruction physics. They still look the same as in MOW.
Are those SSh 36 i see on the soviets?
Fortress Battle anytime soon?
Awesome work!
could wodden bridge support kv1?
There really ought to be CAS to call in via radio men.
Yo what is the song in the opening intro!!!??!
7:10
If i was one of those german soldiers. I would just lay down and play dead. I mean, wtf, who puts 2 dudes with rifles AAAAAAAAALLLLL the way the duck out there.
As someone who plays Post Scriptum, i say those 2 t-34's lived waaaaaaaaaaay longer than they should have.
So which game is this in the end?
Love your videos, would it be possible for you to do a video of Soviet Assault Sappers vs an SS fortification
Is this a custom map from scratch or modified vanilla map?
how do you access the map editor??? ive been looking all over and supposedly there's a drop down when you right click it in steam library but im not seeing editor. did they move it somewhere?
love the videos btw =) i feel the inspiration, now i want to make some of my own scenarios lol
I have a quick question are the Japanese in this game? That also includes like the Chinese and the Americans
Can the bridges be blown up? It would be cool to see that and how the AI would react.
Man this is epic
Is there first person in GOH?
More detail after the action!
Do I have to win every battle in the campaign or is sandbox a dlc?
