Hey, now that you got me thinking about the reorganization and second attack in your video, maybe you should consider making reserve squads and tanks for a second assault in your later videos, like vehicles and squads that will stay behind during the first assault and join the second wave once the survivors of the first retreat to reorganization and replenish their ranks with the reserves. Cool video tho I loved every second of it

.... looking at this mini battle .... i know that the full game is not yet complete but, i'm already thinking about developers like SirHikel's and others doing battles for example putting more equipment and also new units that are not in original and even more ... maybe who can put some troops and their equipment from other army that have to do with campaigns between Russians and Germans in Russian territory .... like Finns ... Romanians ... Italians ... Hungarians ... Czechs ... Ukrainians ... etc ... if done it would be very interesting I believe .... besides giving a great extra perspective to the game which in my opinion is already proving to be very good.
Loved the soundscape of the mortar firing then a few seconds later you see Soviet troops being thrown about. I love how gritty it looks and how the ai operates. Once again thank you for making this awesome battle!
Artillery pieces would never been place like that in a straight line cz one good strife from above would take the whole battery out. So in future place them in zig zag and on different distances from each other. Believe me I was on 120mm mortar in the army and that's a standard setup

Why is there no Gore and blood effects? Will they be added or will it remain like this? I see some shot effects but no real blood decals on the ground way to clean :D

Good to see a realistic RTS where well stocked germans are OP compared to soviets, if you look at the early eastern campaign before the supply lines were cut this is what ya would have got. the soviets had the numbers to swamp them but troop for troop in terms of training, gun for gun, tank for tank it takes an insane amount of quantity to beat that quality.
That's not how it happened? The Red Army was outnumbered for the first 2 years of the war, but eventually managed to outproduce and outskill the germans.
Are you thinking about doing a Seelow Heights Battle with Soviet SMG Infantry, lots of Tanks and Germany with PAKs and Panzerfaust and Volkssturm and Wehrmacht mixed.

If the russians really wanted to push this position it wouldve been better to send the tanks in with the infantry line abreast to provide better support. the idea of the convoy was a good one however. alternatively it would've been a good idea to have one of the t34s in with the convoy, maybe taking up the rear.
Is there a mod to Men of War, that makes you plan Operations like this, and than see how it turns out? Like you could plan Operations in the first 3 Rainbow Six parts, and let the AI work it through instead?
I tested this map in the editor and noticed that the arty loop stops working because they try to aim to back area of the waypoint zone and the guns cannot shoot that far. Either move the waypoint closer or change the guns.
Dude... Don't leave your infantry in the open like that. It may be a bit counter-intuitive but in scenarios like this it's always "move or die". Either they overrun the trenches with tanks support or they will be slaughtered. Meanwhile you just left them sitting ducks in the field and let your tanks be obliterated by AT at long range. If you moved all USSR's forces into the enemy line, you might actually have taken German position by storm.
A hill battle with artillery on the top and machine gun defeding against a huge army with tons of infantry and tanks that would be nice to see.

The feature already exist in CtA, but it was buggy and the animation looks weird. I do like the idea but I hope they executed it properly this time.
