We don’t really know enough about Peter to make a true judgement, for all we know Voldemort might have promised him he would spear James and Lilly, although still a betrayal, he may have believed it was worth it to keep his friends safe as they can always have another child. I don’t believe Peter wanted to be involved in the war at all, but either would have had good intentions with his betrayal, or really feared for his life and wasn’t brave enough to accept death and chose the selfish option to live

this is such a great representation of peter- i know a lot of representations of young peter are influenced by his later actions, which like yes sometimes you can see that stuff coming from a mile away, but this is totally the kind of behavior a really insecure teenage boy just trying to fit in with his friends would have. copying the way james is hopping around the courtyard, encouraging him and lily "i think its sweet." him eating with two hands jut like a rat is also such a great touch??? hes so eager to please. haha :) - (1) We filmed at Oxford University where we were all studying as students at the time, (2) one of our producers' father happened to own an aviary so we were just lucky about the owl really, (3) we filmed the moving images in another part of the building and used VFX in post

They are students of Oxford Uni...I believe the same place where some of the original HP movie scenes were shot.
The owl would be easy... She had the proper equipment, leather glove and all, so it's a trained owl from a zoo or something nearby that they probably got permission to borrow. Or that might even be the zookeeper in the shot.
