We don’t really know enough about Peter to make a true judgement, for all we know Voldemort might have promised him he would spear James and Lilly, although still a betrayal, he may have believed it was worth it to keep his friends safe as they can always have another child. I don’t believe Peter wanted to be involved in the war at all, but either would have had good intentions with his betrayal, or really feared for his life and wasn’t brave enough to accept death and chose the selfish option to live

Can I just take a moment to say how amazing Peter was, and the actor that played him? I mean, he was so awkward, and needy, like Peter really is. I know not a lot of people like Petigrew, but personally, I love him. I know many people don't, and that's fine. But holy shit, the way they portrayed him in this is exactly how i imagined he would be, with all of his flaws and his adorable mannerisms. And that scene in the beggining where he tries to jump over the hedge? absoulte gold.
I agree. I always saw, and still do, Peter as a version of Neville Longbottom who just never found his bravery and made a horrible mistake in giving in to his fear and going to Voldemort's side.

The sexual tension between Sirius and Remus in the common room was very palpable, such good acting. The girl who played lily was brilliant. I liked Snape too- he had no lines and yet managed to say everything with his eyes. Plus The dialogue was great. :) love this
I was wondering when someone would say something about theeem! Let's face it: Sirius is actually "grumpy" and with this emo-ish aura because he doesn't have the guts, like James, to ask Remus out. And Remus is actually just waiting to see if the "bad boy" will tune down is ego to see what's in front of him.

Everyone here be like will star. Honestly I don’t see it. I think if anything Sirius was platonically in love with James. I’m going now that Dumbledore and Grindelwald were gay I don’t know why they would shy away from portraying any of the other characters that way but I just don’t see that they’re gay I just think that they’re very complicated friendships and that’s a big theme in the Harry Potter films

Even if he was constantly looked down upon. He betrayed his trusted friends. He sent the most powerful dark wizard of all time to kill not only his close friend, his brother, but also that brother's family. He then framed another brother and left him locked up to rot in Askaban for years. No matter who he was before, no matter what happened to him, his actions leave no pity or sympathy.
First fan film I've ever seen that managed to pull off Hogwarts. The Marauders are (understandably) a very heavily covered topic when it comes to fan made videos. Still, most don't try to do the school. You had the owl's and everything, the location was amazing. I'm not gunna lie, I was grinning like an idiot during that kiss :D

This really makes one's heart soften towards Pettigrew. Can hear him in the back of my head stuttering "I didn't mean to.." He seems so fragile now. How could anyone expect him to stand up to a bully like Tom Riddle?
People keep pointing out all kf the evil things he did. But even his own best friends bullied him regularly. He wasn't brave or courageous but he looked up to those ideals. And he was hurt repeatedly, and eventually took out his pent up anger and hatred. Yes Peter in the books was evil and a coward but he wasn't always like that
Wolfstar is brilliant. In my head, Sirius and Lupin dated for a little bit in school, maybe a little over a year, then they ended it amicably and still remained best friends. That's just my thoughts, though :)

The owl would be easy... She had the proper equipment, leather glove and all, so it's a trained owl from a zoo or something nearby that they probably got permission to borrow. Or that might even be the zookeeper in the shot.
omg.. the part where snape appeared in front of lily and then turned around and swooped away.... gave me shivers! so legit! bravo guys its too bad jk rowling once said she dislikes prequels... i would be so psyched to see an actual prequel with the marauders, lily, snape..(!!) the whole back story is so interesting
The whole thing was amazing, it seemed straight from the books :) but a particular shout out to the three actors who portrayed peter, lily, and remus. They were so especially good! Lily was lovely, Remus was perfect and I honestly think that's the most sensitive portrayal of Peter i've ever seen, people always want to make him the bad guy, but he must have had some redeeming qualities for the others to have put up with him so long, and you guys really made him a 'real' character! Great work! The whole production was gorgeous. Another shout out to all of the people who worked behind the scenes as well, all the little details with the props gave so many clues and additional meaning to the characters, especially in the common room!! Fantastic!! Magical!! Amazing!!
Oh, and I forgot to mention the costumes! Even though they were all wearing school uniforms you guys really portrayed the nature of the characters with the minor alterations, like I just loved how Sirius's tie was undone and he had a band shirt or something underneath. And Remus as a contrast in his jumper!
My favorite part about this is that there's no huge giant adventure, just domestic school life, unlike every other marauders or Harry Potter fan film I've seen

Ugh the fact that James' "I want to be more than friends" chat happens in earshot of Severus, who never found the nerve to confess to Lily himself; it makes me so sad in such a beautiful way. You can tell that this whole project was so lovingly thought out.

The sexual tension between Sirius and Remus in the common room was very palpable, such good acting. The girl who played lily was brilliant. I liked Snape too- he had no lines and yet managed to say everything with his eyes. Plus

He then framed another brother and left him locked up to rot in Askaban for years. No matter who he was before, no matter what happened to him, his actions leave no pity or sympathy.
First fan film I've ever seen that managed to pull off Hogwarts. The Marauders are (understandably) a very heavily covered topic when it comes to fan made videos. Still, most don't try to do the school. You had the owl's and everything, the location was amazing. I'm not gunna lie, I was grinning like an idiot during that kiss :D

They are students of Oxford Uni...I believe the same place where some of the original HP movie scenes were shot.
The owl would be easy... She had the proper equipment, leather glove and all, so it's a trained owl from a zoo or something nearby that they probably got permission to borrow. Or that might even be the zookeeper in the shot.

The whole thing was amazing, it seemed straight from the books :) but a particular shout out to the three actors who portrayed peter, lily, and remus. They were so especially good! Lily was lovely, Remus was perfect and I honestly think that's the most sensitive portrayal of Peter i've ever seen, people always want to make him the bad guy, but he must have had some redeeming qualities for the others to have put up with him so long, and you guys really made him a 'real' character! Great work! The whole production was gorgeous. Another shout out to all of the people who worked behind the scenes as well, all the little details with the props gave so many clues and additional meaning to the characters, especially in the common room!! Fantastic!! Magical!! Amazing!!
Oh, and I forgot to mention the costumes! Even though they were all wearing school uniforms you guys really portrayed the nature of the characters with the minor alterations, like I just loved how Sirius's tie was undone and he had a band shirt or something underneath. And Remus as a contrast in his jumper!
