  • I have 25 CPUs all mining Zephyr, Zephyr has become as very profitable coin to mine on CPUs lately. This video shows my CPU mining output and profitability, a CPU mining farm tour and discussion in future pricing and expectations from the Bitmain Antminer X5. I have a range of AMD Ryzen 9 5000 series CPUs and I bought two new AMD Ryzen 9 7900X and 7950X3D CPUs to add to my farm. I show the performance statistics of the Ryzen and some of my interesting CPU miners such as dual Xeon Servers. CPU mining is profitable again!!

    hello. I have a question for the 7950x3d processor. Can't you do undervolt in the bios? Did you check how many watts you are having between the Ryzen and the complete system? I bought 3 of those 7950x3d but I was reading that you can't do undervolt and I'm afraid that I won't be able to lower consumption and they will be less efficient than the 7950x. I would appreciate your response!

    • @hardcoredefender1831
      @hardcoredefender1831 6 месяцев назад +2

      you can't set the core voltage but you can set the TDP and TJmax in bios. Have mine on TDP65 and TJmax 68 doing about 19.5KHs on RandomX at about 140W from wall. So pretty close to 7950x. These X3D are great for Ghostrider and Yespower algos where they outperform 7950x

      Great question, I have had the AMD R9 5000's for 2 years now, they have mined a huge amoint of different crpytos. I havent even worked out exactly how much it is, as some of the mined crypto like RTM has also been staked on a node for the past 2 years, so you could even add all the staked crpyto on top of the mined crypto as well, it would be a good exercise but I expect to use this hardware for 4 years, the AMD R9 5000s are still very good at 2 years old and I hope the 7000s will be good for 4 years as well!

    • @Krypto-Kiwi

      Well I haven't added it all up and most rigs are not dedicated CPU miners, I am using my GPU mining rigs, that are already running, I have two Chia Farming servers that are already running so much of this is adding a little more consumption to an already running machine.

      Well I have about a $3000 month power bill I don't know what it is at the CPU only level, I have 12 Bitmain ASICs (by far the biggest consumer), 3 iceriver ASICs. 2 CHIA Farmer servers with 300TB, 6 dedicated GPU rigs with 52 GPUs, 7 dedicated CPU miners and a few other PCs like my game PC etc, this cost also includes my whole house power use, so any AC etc... now its cold I just bring all the CPUs inside and keep the house warm :-)

    • @Krypto-Kiwi
      @Krypto-Kiwi  7 месяцев назад +1

      I actually don’t make any changes manually. I’ll make sure whatever the motherboard can do is enabled such as XMP profiles and “auto overclock” etc but the high end Ryzens seem to use about 200W but I have them all in the house for heating so I’m not worried about trying to reduce the power use for now atleast!

      @@Krypto-Kiwi you should look into PBO overclocking with a curve optimizer. Also for 7000 series AMD CPU's you should think about de-liding or lapping the CPU so you don't have to worry about hitting 95c and free up some performance. ruclips.net/video/vmQ7IU8Nj2c/видео.html

    • @ZeginMakesMusic
      @ZeginMakesMusic 7 месяцев назад

      Overclocking is antiquated. Processors built in the last ten years have the technology to over and under clock themselves as heat and physics allow. The only reason why those settings are still available. It's because removing them would cause an uproar. Leave your cpu settings alone. Memory still has a long way to go on automatically applying advertised clock settings, But that's more of a problem with manufacturers than with the technology.

    • @maxkaczmarek9257

      The $1100 a month was just Zephyr CPU mining, of which happens on the GPU mining rig CPUs as well. Yes if you add up all the CPU mining and GPU mining it will be alot more than 4200W. RTX 3070s and 3060tis are very efficient, I have quite a lot of 3090s 3080 / 3080 tis and 3070 ti, not soo efficient and use a ton of power. They are still profitable and with the rising prices of Crypto have been even more profitable if you look at current pricing

    • @andrewjones198
      @andrewjones198 4 месяца назад

      @Krypto-Kiwi I wouldn't throw out profit margins. It's all speculative, I mean I could tell you the best month I had running 53 GPUs on ethereum was over 6000$ in one month.
      It's best, if you want to talk about how profitable you are, you take accurate power readings at the wall, then only calculate profits when you SELL.
      My 28 cpu workers (adding another 24 x 5900x this month) earn as little as 500usd$/month depending on the ever varying network hashrate on zephyr. My best yield in a 1 month period with the 315kh/s was 54 zeph. So let's say I HODL that zeph and sell at 150$ during the peak of the bullrun? Then I'd come on you tube and brag it up
