I am 81 years old and I am practising these rites for more than 20 years every morning when i get up. I am in good health and mentally fit. I am convinced that thanks to these exercises I am in good shape and have not been ill for the last 20 years. I can only recommend to everybody to do the same. Start slowly with 3 exercises and add every 1-2 weeks 3 more exercises

@@betinabinah1825 There are couple of we can do by stretch the knees, and strengthen the muscles around the knee joints, particularly in the quadriceps, hamstrings and abductors.
      1. Knee Press: Take a towel roll, keep it below your knee and press the knee on a towel. Hold for 10 seconds and then relax. Repeat this process 10 times.
      2. Single leg raises: Raise up your leg up to 30 degrees. Hold for 10 seconds and then bring back. Continue this process with 10 repetitions.
      3. Leg Sideways: Lie on one side and bend the leg below. Take the upper leg upwards and hold for 10 seconds and bring it down.

There are so many videos of how to do the rites but accordingly to the roots of where they come from, this is the only video I found in which all are done correctly. To get the desire results, It's very important to know the history, context, breathing phases, vortexes timing, eating habits, etc. Wishing everybody well;-). 🙏🏻🧘🏽‍♂

Not really, I do them half hazardly...have since 2012. I will admit that if you do too many, things can get a little crazy but if you are stuck in a bad situation, it will put a missile in your booster. Back story: I came upon this in 2012 after praying for a fountain of youth....didn't think it was possible but here we are at 45 looking like I'm a boss lady. I stopped doing it acouple weeks ago but by Monday, I will be back at it. A fair warning is that, it will address your blockages so if your an asshole, you should probably not do them because you will have to address your shit.

I felt like it was coming from all around me - my aura?! Afterwards I felt so calm and as if I was outside of my body but present. Anyone else chant and meditate afterwards and have amazing experiences?

In our western world, I find it difficult to slow down mentally enough to perform any energy exercise, it's a constant effort. If you can manage this type of exercise, it grants a much greater energy release in the body. Many are trying to achieve these effects through rigorous, often just harmful, mechanical movements.

It's optimal to practice in the morning before breakfast or in the evening before going to bed. However, some people feel more energized after performing the Five Tibetan Rites, so you may find it counterproductive to practice before bed as it would wind you up rather than down. It's best to do them first thing in the morning, as it will boost your metabolism and energy. Can be practiced daily.🙂

I am wondering if it is ok to do the exercises after work (Would be between 7 en 8pm and I go to bed between 11 en 12pm). Or will this get in the way of my sleep? Or is it silly not to get the advantage of the extra energy?
Also, I think some of the moves are difficult for me. Especially the back bend and the last exercise. Are there modifications for beginners building op strength?

    • @MoorRose

You can start with only 3 or 5 repetitions.
If you can not do, do the best you can. It will get better with every time.
He ist very fast in the Video. When i do all 21 i need more than 35 minutes. But rounds of 5 take 10 minutes and so I do them (nearly) every morning.
I guess its ok to do it in the evening too. But keep the General Sport Rules in mind: no eating for 1-2 hours before, do not drink overvelming bevore. things like that.

You need to start slow, do 3 repetitions of each exercise for a week then add 3 more etc till you build up to 21. You could hurt yourself doing them all, all at once. And if you aren’t able to do each pose completely only do them to the extent you are able. The idea is to work up to doing each pose perfectly. If it’s a life long habit take time to build it up correctly 😊

    • @1Lightdancer
      @1Lightdancer Год назад +6

Starting slow, with 3-7 turns is great!
Notice how his head eyes are looking toward the Right and his right hand (direction of the spin)? If you hold focus on your right thumb and turn slowly, it will become easier, and just add more turns as you feel ready. This is great for balance!
Instead of downward dog, you might try standing with your feet shoulder width apart - Exhale: bend forward and touch the ground (or as far as you can reach) several times, then Inhale as you stand upright,
Exhale: fists on hips and lean back to look up stand upright - and repeat (3-7× total, working up to 21 in a few weeks)
(This is one of the Japanese morning exercises - a routine that takes about 6 minutes, and is also a lovely morning routine!)
