  • Learn this unique crochet stitch for a beautiful baby blanket. For the whole blanket, we used 3 skeins of Bernat Baby Blanket Sport Yarn (in color 'Tiny Tulips") and 4 mm crochet hook. With an easy 1-row repeat, this stitch is a breeze to master, even for beginners.
Written pattern for this blanket: craft-mart.com...
The stitch creates textured panels connected with tiny 3-D 'bridges' for an interesting and unique look. In this crochet tutorial, we show you how to start, crochet a foundation row, complete first row, and start a new row. The pattern is coming soon and will be posted on our website!

I love this blanket. I was wondering, you make a chain and then single crochet in each chain but for the last row,you don't single crochet to, make the ends look the same. Can you single crochet for the last row?

I am a "leftie crocheter. My question is: since my right side faces me while I am crocheting(your wrong side faces you) do I make a back st post instead of the front post sc? I just came across your channel and subscribed. This blanket is gorgeous.

Please help !! I am new to crocheting. I am making this beautiful blanket, but I’m having a problem…. It keeps growing in width !! I started out with foundation chains to measure 36” in width. After completing 25 rows, it measures out at 41”. I am ending each row in the previous rows chain space with a single crochet, chaining 3, turning, and adding 2 dbl crochets in the first space. All of the columns line up perfectly. The size has increased by 6”. I don’t think that tension is the issue. What could I be doing wrong ???

Do you have the same number of stitches? I often find that the length of the foundation row changes once you start working the pattern.

I don’t like how there is not a finished edge on the last row! You need to show how to finish this blanket off so the ends match! I’ve crocheted for 60 yrs so I can figure it out, but beginners cannot. Please fix.
